Is there a thread where customers can talk about what they would like to see from future Battles Minis?

That is a surprise. I thought training was something everyone did. I know it can be left out, but I assumed everyone used it. I think I don't feel right with out it. That sounded bad. It just feels right to me.

By the way, do a lot of GMs allow for multi-classing during game play? I always run it that you have to wait for long stretches of game-down time to pass. When one thing is done and players are going somewhere to train. This makes problems for those with detailed character plans. With monks and magic users, loads of game-down time is required.

Thanks again to everyone, for sure. This has opened me up to a load of new ideas I hadn't thought of before. I'm going to start checking out the messageboards a lot more. Nice to have such a large community.

Thanks, looked one of those over. I'll keep working on it. No one has tried it out yet. Wanted it to not give too much bonus at too low a lvl. I feel like having one Ability score that does it all make it a little uneven. When we try it on I may make some adjustment to see what fits. I'd kinda like to keep it simple to not go over the top. Also I'll look these over more when I'm with my computer. Thanks y'all.

Some of the players I've spoken to are interested in monk flavor, but feel they can be more effective as a fighter class. So, I made a radical suggestion that may or may not work. This fits well for a LE idea for a monk with a twisted view on Tao philosophy. Said monk would become obsessed with the calm, stillness of nothingness and dedicate his life to Groetus. To walk all the land teaching, his truth, that existence is chaos and only with the end of all things will come order and peace. Or could work with any other but some how this felt right, for all it's wrong.

Add Wis. mod. to Hit with Flurry of Blows.

The thing is, many have said this would make the monk too strong, but if folks go with something else they feel is more effective, even when they'd like to play a monk, I think this might work to make the monk more appealing.

I know this has been discussed a number of times, and I am new to minis so I never really knew. Harder plastic vs. softer plastic: I just recently noticed that the sword on both my "Rune Giants" is starting to bend from their own weight, being that they are standing up. I not complaining, I can easily put them away, but I do like to display them. Just a heads up if anyone else has had similar situations, and to Paizo so you know. It's actually not a serious problem.

Again, thanks so much. My idea is to take all the info and use it to design my own. I just needed fresh ideas and new ways to think about the game cause, like I was saying, I tend to lean on character/NPC interaction. I think I was losing one of my players.

I originally thought I'd mix it up, but it was their suggestion that we alternate weekly gaming styles. I do some short story writing, so role-play comes easy for me. I just didn't have the tools to design a huge hack, slash, and puzzle game.

All these sources have given me a lot to think about and play with. Everyone was so helpful and nice. It's refreshing to find that in strangers these days.

I plan on taking bits and pieces from them all, and making something great. This is so much info.

I've been GM for a couple years now. I focus on a lot of role-play and I wanna go in a new direction.

I'd really like to start designing some mega-dungeons for my players to hack, slash, and puzzle their way through. Is there any really good resource material anyone can suggest, other than the GMG? Which is a great resource, but not quite enough for mega-dungeoning. And yes mega-dungeoning does roll off the tongue nicely.

Can I just say that I am a RABID mini collector and I really appreciate seeing monsters that I have not seen as minis before, and more monsters than PCs in general from a minis set. That said, the one issue I had with Rise of the Runelords was that it was hard to build a big army of commons. Ever consider bumping the number of commons or offering an uncommon/common army builder alternate booster?

Like a common exclusive booster? That sounds like a great idea. I thought there woulda been more of those encounters packs kinda like that my self. I can understand if paizo is too busy, look at all the stuff they put out, right.

If you think that only humanoid NPCs can have personalities and interesting non-combat interactions with the PCs, then you are marginalizing every creature in the Bestiaries with an Int of 3+.

Yeah, it is a bestiary....full of a bunch of different examples of about seven or eight monsters.

What is the ratio of humanoid to "monster"? I know that "monster" are sentient, but they almost always end in combat. Not to many befriend a Frost Worm, pg 126 bestiary 2 (totally the first random page I opened to, i can do it all day), before it it betrays them to a guild or the guard. No, that's just common since. You have three or more books like that. It's just reverse discrimination to say something like that. Are you hiding something from yourself?

Did it again! Awesome book idea, and I can't wait. I like to make my own NPCs as much as anyone, but sometimes you need something special on the fly. Best game company out there.

I've been in sales my whole life. I know, for a fact, you can't give everyone what they want every time. As far as I am concerned Paizo has a great approval rating. I'd like to nominate them to rule a country. Any wars will be decided with a die roll. I still love how the cases are and hope they don't change a thing. It's like shaving your sideburns, take some from here and you gotta take a little more from there, next thing you know you got nothing left. I think it's good the way it is. I promise to say nothing more about the size or price of the cases.

And I thank you, Sir. Now I go to bed. No gameday tomorrow, cancelled because of nice weather, BBQ instead. Hope we can do this again some time.

Is that really the only thing you want you can't afford? I don't think so, you must be unhappy a lot(kidding). I don't know what to say to make it all better, just saying how I feel, like everyone else.

I'm not someone who has to own every single mini in the collection. I started my collection with the last run. I it bought from Paizo for two reasons: I really like what Paizo is putting out there; and I liked the look of theirs more than others. When I feel I have enough to run my games with I'll stop buying them. I understand some people are collectors, but I'm not. So, I don't really see it. I do like the minis and hopefully most people won't be discouraged from buying some because other people say they cost to much. Buy a booster, buy a case, or whatever but support a good company if you like them. Maybe next time Paizo will make all smaller cases, if that's what people want. I think this case is good for the AP though, and I don't think it was a mistake.

I love the minis, thanks y'all. I can't see why folks aren't happy about the price. You don't have to buy a case if you can't. They are basically the same deal as the first run, just buy what you can afford/need.

40 figure capacity, cut out size: 1" x 1", 1 layer

56 figure capacity - cut out size: 1" x 2", 2 layers - (larger figures)
80 figure capacity - cut out size: 1" x 1", 2 layers

The boxes themselves are hard, sturdy, plastic. Each layer of foam consists of three pieces: a thin top pad/cover, the divider, and the bottom. Between the two layers is a piece of heavy cardstock with a loop of ribbon attached to each end. The loop allows for easily lifting the upper layer out of the box to access the lower layer. Since the 40 figure case is only one layer, it obviously won't have this.

I own about 15 of these things and absolutely swear by them. My only complaint is that the divider and bottom of each layer don't come attached to each other. When removing a figure, if some pointy bit catches on the foam, you can pull the whole divider out of place. Nothing a couple spots of white glue can't remedy though.

I wanna order these but the product description is vary poor. It seams that Paizo doesn't even want to sell these. I have no idea what I would be giving you money for, I mean what exactly I'd be getting. Can you please up date with more info? I'm putting four in my shopping cart but won't place the order till I know what I'm getting.

Okay, most folks don't like this idea, but some do, myself included. I like races and classes that go hand and hand. If I wanna play this Ninja, I make up a race that goes with the back story, and this class. I want a perfect story, with all the draw backs, so if I can get something in the future that gives my players guide lines for the home-made characters, that would be sweet. Maybe a few examples of races geared for classes along with their back stories. I just wanna have a rule I can reference to back me up when my players go CRRRASEY. Yeah, that was supposed to be, "gay", no offense.

You need instructions for furniture?

It's a table. It's used to put things on it, and occasionally for sex if you're really horny and the bedroom seems to far away. ;-)

A couch is a couch, used to sprawl on uselessly to let the warm glow of the TV warm your otherwise dreary, hollow existence (or maybe that's just me).

A shelf, well, you put things on it, too, but usually not in the same way as the table. It's more for storage and display, rather than things you're using or eating right now. Also, in most cases, sex is contraindicated on shelves due to lack of sturdiness, which can lead to injuries or accidents.

If you need more info and advise about furniture, don't hesitate to ask me. I've been using that stuff for decades now! ;-P

Or are we talking about furniture you need to assemble before use? In that case, I think there is great general advise that will always apply, like gather all necessary tools, get assistance for things that are difficult to do alone, and engage in some meditation before starting so you won't be too angry when you learn about the inevitable missing screw ;-)

Yes, I drink....a lot. I'm drunk at work right now. Doesn't seem to brother most. And yes, I buy furniture that you have to put together.

If you already preordered a case for Heroes and Monsters and you decide to subscribe, your preorder will automatically transfer over for your subscription, depending on how many cases you preordered originally.

As for future sets, your case (or cases, if you choose more than one case for your subscription) will automatically be shipped to you when the sets are released.

I'm super excited about getting mine. I love the Pathfinder game, and I haven't been into role-playing since I was young. I appreciate what y'all are doing so much I do all my buying through your web site, in hopes that my dollars go directly to you. If there was a place local to buy I'd probably go that way, but there just isn't. I've found better prices other places, but like I said, I want to support a great company. Thank you Paizo Pathfinder.

So, after reading all the posts I seeing here, I feel more comfortable with letting my player characters play anything they want. If they pick something too crazy I'll do what I've always done and let them evolve In race as they do in levels. Thanks for the core books and anything else you got coming. I'll keep on making it all up as I go along, And adding all your insight.
