Cog looks at Jasmine for a moment then nods.

"Thanks." he manages to say, with some obvious difficulty as he takes the heavy mace.

Jasmine, until the end of the voyage any Charisma-based skill check you make to influence Cog's attitude is increased by +1.

Jasmine will try to stealthly dump her GROG

Jasmine will try to influence CoG as an NPC, engaging in Small talk, flirting a bit, trying to get information from him.

Cog spends most of the time giving one word answers and doesn't seem to warm up to Jasmine at all. On the plus side, he doesn't seem to be more annoyed than usual.

"I've got things t'do. Coin t'make. Jasmine, Amerdan, Allysen, Sandara." he nods curtly to you all and makes his way over to a group of sailors playing a game of Liar's Dice and joins in.

Sorry busy day and internet was out last night.

"My, my ain't the Capt'n's boys imaginative. M'name's Allysen, the cook's mate."

Allysen comes by after she's finished helping dole out supper.

"Cook's mate? Yer lucky Kroop ain't been drunk in his cabin the whole voyage. Most of my time here he's been three sheets to the wind. Last cook's mate died in the bilges after cookin' a shyte supper for the Cap'n."

Cog nods towards Jasmine as she introduces herself. "Cog." he replies. "You're the elf that Scourge keeps a look out for. Lucky you haven't messed up yet."

"Take a half-pint o' rum. Swig it back. People bet t'see who'se standin' at the end. Ye go till someone quits, or gets too drunk t'stand. Sometimes the loser drinks so much, he don't ever get up again."

He looks over at Seijiro.

"Volunteered after a game of "Heave" left a crewman dead an' I heard that Cap'n Harrigan was lookin' for men from his mates." he replies flatly, a slight edge of anger to his voice. "What's it to you?"

The newcomer nods his head slowly in greeting towards the party.
