The Crabstrostity gurgles and falls.

The crabbeast tries to grab Nikolai again only to need to skitter to chase him.

Claw Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 3) + 4 = 11

The target is grappled (escape DC 14)

The Crab attempts to grab Nikolai by his neck with his sharp claw instead of his bumpy one.

Snip: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

The crab snips wide and gurgles in frustration.

The Hulking Crab tries again to crush Nikolai.

Crushing pincer: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Crushing pincer adv from Flank: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 4) + 6 = 12

[ooc]The target is grappled (escape DC 14) [/dice]

The swirling tentacles of it's 'beard' reach towards your eyes and nose, it's massive arm lifting you towards it's mouth.

The blinded Crabum gurgles as it's eyestalks fall limp and it crumbles to the ground.

Crab 1 Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Crab 2 Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Both Crabs are blinded.

The move towards Nikolai snapping their massive pincers wildly.

Crab 2 Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Crab 2 Disadvantage: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

The Crabums lurch towards Nikolai without any sense of urgency in some sort of inevitable skitter.

Pincher Pinch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Critical Crushing Damage: 4d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 6, 2, 1) + 4 = 14

Nikoali is now grappled. It's a DC 14 Escape Artist or DC 20 Str to escape.

(cunning action to disengage as bonus action, then regular move at half).

Your deft daggering easily finds a space between the chitin to plunge deep. The crab is silent but the wound bubbles with a spurt of inky purple ichor. It's posture winces as it whirls around looking for the source of it's pain.

You obliterate it's eyeball. The house lays silent again, except for the gentle snores of your compatriots.

As you impale it's belly, it falls to it's knees. It's featureless ruby eye stares deeply into you.

It murmurs softly to itself casts sleep.
Hit points effected by sleep: 5d8 ⇒ (5, 6, 8, 7, 8) = 34
It's arms go limp as it's eyeball oozes out of its head, it's tendril attached at the back like a long tail. The eye flies with great speed through the air to the west as its former body slumps at your feet.

The Crabeast flinches away from your exploding energy but still takes some of it's impact. His skin smokes and sizzles.

It tries to grasp Florr's ribcage with it's right pincer and Olias' with it's left.

Florr crunch: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Make a DC 14 Dex(Acrobatics) or Strength(Athletics) check or become grappled.

It lets out a scream and a jet of thick black ooze the consistency of hot molasses sprays from the wound in it's chin covering you. It's lunges away from you like a drunkardly. (moves to 9H)

Make a DC 15 constitution save against poison (dwarves get advantage), on a success you take 1d12 damage and are paralyzed for 1d4 rounds. On a fail you take one half of 1d12 damage

It's noodly tendril bores into you. You feel like you're forgetting...

Lose one on your spell slots.

The creature clumsily tries to move out of the way, but you connect with the creatures shoulder. It becomes rigid and bits of shell crack and it tries to move. And it let's out a gurgling noise that sounds unpleasant.

The door explodes open like a cannon as the contained weight of water presses down.

Through the threshold fires a bookshelf that splinters into sharp planks of wood.

As the water trickles to a stop you hear a voice.

"MooooorKKKKKAAAA'tthuuuuuuuul. *Clicking noises*"

Through the door steps a creature you've never seen before. At least not all of it. The previous beast has...evolved. Beneath it's head has grown a wide, sturdy body. Beneath it's single crimsion eye hangs a beard of writhing tentacles. From the top of it's head extends a long tenril, at the end of which is a mouth with leech like rows of teeth. It puckers loudly: "MoooooorrKathuuuuuuul"

It's powerful arms end in thick claws. It reminds you of someone....it stands like Thravum...it...seems like Thravum. (picture)
