Distracted by his inner thoughts, Cornix doesn't spot the cloaked vessel. However he jumps to at Brother Ren'Shaw's warning.
"Pilot, maintain your course, but be ready for evasive manoeuvres. Don't make them aware that we know. Run any sweeping scans you can of the Argent Crown and be careful to catch the cloaked ship in them. Brother Gaius your thoughts?"

Adjusting his cloak and double checking his weapons, Cornix seats himself in a corner of the Thunderhawk. His eyes glaze as he focuses in the challenges to come, leading non Raven Guard in quietly.

I can try, but that seems to take a lot from the power of the ability. According to the rulebook it should give me an idea of the greatest foe and the next 3 greatest (cos I am PR 4). Would something along the lines of "On our quest for the Argent Crown, will we be opposed by Man, daemon or alien?" Be appropriate or were you looking more for something like "On our quest for the Argent Crown, will we face daemon's?"

"Detection in the warp is not something I am skilled in, but I will see if I can trace any warp disturbances. If that fails, perhaps we can ask the Emperor's Tarot once more."

His hands moving to the sword at his side and the Raven skull hanging over his chest plate, Cornix focuses his mind on the movements of the warp around them.

Having followed Gaius, Cornix scans the bridge and consoles in an effort to make sense of what is happening.

My bad I had misread the text and was waiting for Gaius.

As the rush to the launch bay proceeds, Cornix adopts his usual unfazed, not bothered attitude and rolls his eyes at the keen rushing manners of his brothers, however inside he feels the adrenaline rush as they prep for battle, particularly the chance to recover a powerful relic of his discipline and to retrieve the body of a brother raven.

The augury power seems to suggest whatever the question, what you find out is the most powerful enemy we will face and other negative forces up to my Psy rating. So Radavel do we need a question or is that what we find out?

Gaius's augury read during the journey, Cornix puzzles over the answer received. As always the Tarot only suggested the future and it could, and admittedly it had, surprise you.
As the vox casters announced the arrival, Cornix grabbed his larger weapons that weren't already on his person and headed for the launch bay.

Just going to stick this in here in case you are jumping straight to the arrival scene.

Once they leave the bridge, Cornix pulls Gaius to one side. "Brother come, I will read the Emperor's Tarot with you and we can focus on a question regarding what enemies we may face. It may give us a clue to our future"

Gaius, we need a question.
Casting Augury, Unfettered test, psy rating 4, if success gives most dangerous opposition and any other negative forces present, as many as Psy Rating.

Captain, as we do not know the location of the item within the ship, I would suggest a stealthy approach to minimise resistance at any one point. What would you suggest for this method? Perhaps the Thunderhawk to a lesser used maintenance hatch or some such? Also have scans shown any signs of life on board the ship?

Oh and is this a Deathwatch ship or Imperial Navy? Just thinking of Cornix's deed and whether he would be making inappropriate comments.

Rolling these here as it is plan related.
Cornix is racking his brains for tactics for ship vs ship combat if the ship turns out to be a threat when we get there and how we might approach safely. How we might approach stealthily to sneak on board and how we could assault in a conventional boarding action (or not in this case with a fail!)

No seriously, I can't really see Cornix leading us! I'm voting Gaius, as well as being a tactical ultrasmurf, he is built for it. Oath of Astartes maybe? The +3 Cohesion is good for a new group and the story element of going back to basics (the Codex Astartes) seems quite appropriate for a new group from assorted chapters.

"Come brothers, let us ready ourselves, once we are gathered on our transport we can decide Leader and oath. I will then also have time to read the Emperor's Tarot which may be able to give us a clue as to the enemy we face."
With that Cornix comes to attention and leaves the room without a sound.

At the mention of his Chapter, Cornix seems to snap out of his thousand yard stare.
"Captain how long has the ship been lost? Is there any chance that my brother librarian, could be existing in the shadows? What is the artifact we are looking for? How many other brothers are lost and which chapters? Do we have plans of the ship? Have any threats been detected on board?"

Corbin barely reacts to the tech-marine's comment, his remains perched in the shadows, so still, that is hard to judge if he even realised he was talking out loud.

"Two 'angelic' brothers, a hate everyone machine priest, a 'codex only' marine, a marine we know nothing about and a captain who doesn't even show up. Well we had better get this started, after all sooner started, the sooner they can send in a real team."

Just working on how to play low Fel whilst still talking and not being the silent type. Going for 'bit of an arse!'

Despite his power armour, the next marine enters with hardly a sound. He stands tall and slender and his long raven-black hair and pale white skin mark him as a son of Corvus Corax. He wears an old suit of MkVI armour, popular with his legion, but it's gauntlets are older still, venerable MkIV no less, it has clearly seen much conflict and what appears to be long since dried blood shows at many of the repairs. At his shoulders hangs a camoleoline cloak and he carries an Astartes Assault Shotgun in his hand, however it is the Kopis force sword at his hip and the raven bone fetishs on his person, that mark his true skills.
His voice comes as barely a whisper on the wind, and yet both marines hear it.
" Huh, Sons of Sanguinius, this should prove ... Interesting."

Sorry about the delay, hoped to do it all yesterday with access to a laptop instead of my phone, but plumbing emergency took most of the day. (I quickly learnt that i am not a plumber!) So here are my req choices, history will have to wait until I get laptop access again.
