She grins. "Far be it for me to touch another person's belongings without permission," she starts, adding "But I'm sure the Thassilonian artifacts can find value somewhere. I might be able to find us a buyer."
Wrapping her belt around her and adjusting her harness, Tam asks, "Everyone ready? We should head back out to check on Richelle and Tolwin. Can't be too much fun being stuck chained to the cart."

Turning to Eranahu, Tam replies, "I got Richelle in manacles, and Tolwin and whoever aren't going anywhere. I almost think it's best to get them back to town. They'll be able to take care of them. But, the cart is good enough, sure."
Tam then goes to pat Richelle on the head. "I know things look bad right now, but you can still get out of this safely and Tolwin can still be okay after everything. What's most important right now is understanding what happened. Why did you try to get the amulet? Why are you trying to hold onto the blossoms? What was the plan? Anything you know can help us protect everyone, and help you and Tolwin to get out of town, safely and with your health."
Looking back at Tolwin, she adds, "Even now."

"No need, Elu, I got this."
She goes over to the tiefling, lifts her goggles and places her hand over the tiefling's eye. "Step not beyond this body. Your future lies here," she prays. The tiefling's skin seems to sizzle momentarily under Tam's hand. She pulls her hand away, and the tiefling breathes normally, but a welt similar to Tam's birthmark appears around his eye.

Copper Tam launches herself into action, putting on a burst of unexpected speed. She leaps and whirls herself around, unfurling her purple belt as she goes. The shiny clasp reveals itself as a pair of blades at either end of a long sash. Tam whirls one end threateningly in a circle over her head.
Activate Relentless Footing as a swift action for +10 move.
Double move to next to Blue.
Draw double-chained kama during the move, in its reach configuration.
Tam peers at her quarry with a wink and grin. I'm not even sure this is really the target. This is a trap. She steals an extra look by the cave, and hopes to use the boulder as cover.
Note that Tam has Step Up, which lets her take a 5' step if Blue withdraws, and has reach and Combat Reflexes should Blue try anything. If she gets an AoO, she will try to Trip with the kama.

"What do the brightblooms and the pendant do, anyway? Who would want them? Black market value?"
Tam adjusts something on her goggles and continues to muse, "There's something we're not being told. Dreng's wards by proxy pull multiple shenanigans to get access to the brightblooms. Could have been the pendant, but no, given the chance, they take the blooms too. Not as easy to make a clean getaway with a bunch of flowers. But like, they also couldn't just hike up there a couple days before the festival and harvest the blooms themselves. Whatever their plan, it only works with both blooms and pendant. And with the gold dragon conveniently unavailable for the actual festival, someone has been planning this for a while."

Tam laughs in joy during her turn in the barrel, jumping out slightly dizzy. Watching Eranahu turn on his charm for the ride runner, she decides to hang back slightly, hands behind her back and grinning, trying to let off the most "kid sister" vibes she can, so as not to ruin his chances, and takes in more of the woman's response.

Making conversation on the trip, Tam reveals, "Most of my life has been spent here in Absalom, sailing with trading vessels between there and Katapesh, but I did go to Razmiran for training as a kid."
Shivering slightly, she adds, "I don't think I've been this far north before."
Once they arrive at the inn, Tam sets up her cot thankfully and completes a round of stretching exercises. She never missed her stretches first thing in the morning on this trip, happily waking early to complete them and not stop speedy travel.
Once Nistivo (Nivek?) comments on visiting the mayor, Tam straightens and replies, "Yes, although I bet if they're being a problem for the mayor, he's not the only one who knows what's going on around here. How about we talk to the innkeeper and figure out where the locals like to spend the evening?"
Looking at the hamper, she adds, gushing quietly, "Those hampers are so sweet looking. I love them."

A young woman shrugs.
"Not my first commission, but I have spent enough time at the museum after hours," she says.
She's human, slight and wiry like a dancer. She wears a loose white tunic held in place by a leather harness/backpack, and a purple sash wrapped around her midsection like a belt with a conspicuous metal clasp. Her red hair is tied back in a pair of ponytails. Yet the most striking feature about her is a birthmark, a ragged purple ring around her left eye.
"Not afraid of vague assignments in dangerous places, though. Name's Copper Tam, and I'm happy to help!"

Copper bursts into action, leaping through the door and barreling toward the skeleton. "I hate it when you guys animate!" she calls exasperatedly. Her sash unfurls from around her body as he twists in the air, snaking the end of her garment out to strike at the skeleton.

Rushing in is a short, wiry human woman in a form-hugging harness and leggings with a free-flowing white tunic tied with a long, red sturdy-looking scarf. She chuckles on seeing the room and makes a flying leap to land on Narayan's back. "Hey! I've been practicing," she responds with a bubbly familiarity and hops off.
Her hair is red and long, placed in a pair of braids today. Of note is an odd birthmark, a raggedy port-wine ring around her left eye. She looks around at the group. "Alya! Good to see you. So it's one more time into the museum?"
Looking around to the others, she adds, "I'm Tam. Copper Tam. Pleasure to meet you all!"

Say, I've been thinking about how I'm designing my character for Level 2, and before I play with her at that level, I'm looking over all my character's choices. Right now, I've got a (generally considered substandard) trait, Bullied. +1 attack on unarmed attacks of opportunity. Now, I am designed as a reach fighter with IUS, Step Up, and Combat Reflexes, so it's not out of the realm of possibility to get to use this with some regularity.
But is it really the best choice? Not sure. Thoughts?

I've been thinking about sending Copper through the Glass River Rescue, since her background is that she was raised in a Razmiri orphanage in Absalom and is (ostensibly) a Razmiri inquisitor. As you can tell, though, she hasn't fully drunk the Kool-Aid. It might make for some very interesting RP. Another character of mine has gone through the Godsmouth Heresy, though, so can't join for that.

I'm considering using this character instead of Traceni Skrit, because her backstory is that she was raised in a Razmiri orphanage in Absalom and would love the chance to see Razmiran.
I still need to level her up with a level of monk (to be Inquisitor 1/Monk 1) but if you think this might be a fun character to have around, I'll get it done.
