Connor taps his foot impatiently, and signs that he's ready, looking around constantly.

Connor shoots at the blue skeleton. Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4

Yes. That one. The Eastern door, leading to another chamber.

"It appears we've reached the bottom of this forsaken place. Keep your guard up, all of you. I feel we are not alone." He checks the door, taking 20, for a result of 26

Checks the stairs and path ahead for traps, and takes 20, for a result of 26.

He says, "Give them to the wounded fool. Cure light wounds is the spell within both of them, so they should patch up our resident knight-errant" He hands them off to whoever wants to administer the medicine.

" Belka, hand me those potions" He gives them both a taste, to figure out what on earth he just drank. He takes 10 on the perception check, for a result of 16.

Looks like he knows I'm here.
He readies another arrow, and sends it down the corridor.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8

given that he's hiding behind everyone else in front of him, Connor could probably make a sneak attack
Connor pulls out his longbow, and shoots the mercenary.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
Sneak Attack Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Connor mutters, "This looks important", and pulls the lever, opening the portcullis, leaving the path to the stairs down open. "Go down whenever you feel ready. I'll be behind Graxus." he says to the group.

He says to Belka "I doubt I can pick any lock here, unless if it's a simple one, and anyone who leaves demon bodyguards doesn't like simple. But the practice of finding a trap, setting it off, then pushing though works just as well." Connor moves ahead, examining the portcullis and lock, checking for traps. takes 20 on a perception check for a total result of 26.

crit is 3x. rolling to confirm
Confirmation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Connor quietly takes out his longbow, holding an arrow to the string. He draws the bow back, sending a silent arrow flying toward the lemure that Vrald targeted. attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Connotr goes through the door, and to the vault beyond it, going slowly to look for traps, with the illusion in front of him.

Okay. That is quite terrible text formatting. My apologies.

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Connor takes a leaf out of Graxus's book, and steps near the door. He sighs and says, "I really hope you're right, Eidolon. Here goes nothing." He takes the discs, and puts the devil with the worshipers, the city in the middle, and the girl with the condemned. Then braces himself, by the side of the door opposite of Graxus.

" Tywin, Belka, are you both staying down here?"

Connor mutters to himself " I know I'll regret this in about five minutes." He takes a look at the people around him and says, "Everybody, go up to the upper level. I'm probably going to trip this trap, And I don't need anyone else to get caught in it. Feel free to come back down when I say so, or when you smell barbecued elf. I'll be putting them in with Gilfroy's interpretation" He moves over to the mosaic and grabs the tiles, then waits for people to leave the room.

"It appears that this door has a trap on it, an incredible surprise. It's magical, so my attempts to disable it aren't likely to be successful. Thankfully it's only burning hands, but if a powerful sorceress cast it, that could be enough to kill one of us. Who wants to go set it off?"

Connor carefully climbs down the ladder, after hearing no screams from the bottom. He examines the mosaic, thinking. "I might be over thinking this, but don't they want to condemn this city? Given the documents undermine the defenses, and they will give them away. Unless if there are other clues, we can keep figuring out other interpretations, all arguable. In the end we'll probably have to guess, one person down here at time, and suffer the consequences."

Connor walks over and takes a close look at the ladder and the room below, looking for traps. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

"So, how about this? Graxus and Tywin lead the charge, along with Vrald, given that they actually have armor, and are good up close. Seinto and Belka can take the second line, and lend support, entering the fray if need be, and Gilfroy can take the last line with me, maintaining an illusory comrade. I can pick a few of them off with my bow, or make a sneak attack. What do you all think? At least this way we'll play to our strengths."

Connor goes toward the trapdoor, giving it a good hard look. Perception check, takes 20, for a total result of 26. "Anyone have a plan for what we'll do once the trapdoor is open? Rushing a powerful sorceress with no plan whatsoever seems quite lethal. I'd suggest at least healing our wounded before we go down." If I can open it, that is. Personally, I'd let Graxus in first.

Connor moves into the room, and stops, deep in thought. " While I doubt you're lying about the people in there, there's probably something more. Was there a trap they disarm to go down? It'd be foolish not to have one. If you know more than you're letting on, You can rest assured that you'll die painfully. "

Connor waits, and takes no action other than hiding. Shooting anyone at this close of quarters is more likely to hurt an ally than anyone who deserves it. Granted, that isn't too easy to tell with this bunch. Besides I'm being paid to help, not to fight.

Connor follows slowly after, silently, bow at the ready.
stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Connor readies his longbow, putting an arrow at the ready. He stays back, being as stealthy as possible. I hope they're at least a little subtle. It's so much easier to win a fight if your opponents don't know they're in one.

Can I make a retry?
