Critically wounded, The Beast heaves a gargantuan sob and beats its great wings furiously, lifting the immense, scarlet and crimson hulk up toward the sky....

Conflagratius cedes the field to those that grievously wounded him: The Lusty Fools!

I'll give Conflagratius a -4 penalty on attacks due to his impaired depth perception from now on....

Paddy stabs the Beast's great eye with GreenThorne as it gnashes his left arm, producing a satisfactory popping sound....

YYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!! BLAST YE TO FLINDERS!!!! YE'VE BLINDED ME, YE WEE RAPSCALLIONS!!!! A BLIGHT ON THE DAY YOUR MOTHERS BIRTHED YE, YE HAIRLESS APES!!!!

The Beast seems to sense the presence of divine agents nearby, and grows suddenly sober....

It snaps it's mighty jaws at Paddy 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (13) + 35 = 48, chomping into the rogue's left arm and exposing muscle and tendons, dealing 4d6 + 21 ⇒ (6, 1, 4, 5) + 21 = 37 damage, before beating it's great leathery wings and propelling its massive body away from its attackers some 80 feet westward toward the sea, 200 ft above Naples....

Provoking AoOs from Paddy, Hisao, and Nacht.... At the end of its turn, it is 80 ft west of the cathedral, soaring 200 ft over sea level above the rooftops of the city of Naples....

SSSSKKKRRREEEEEEEEEEECH!!!!! DAMN YOU, SON OF ADAM!!! WHAT BE THAT HAY-CUTTER IN THINE HANDS!!???

Round 4

The Beast inhales, a long, windy gasp of evil that nearly lifts the adventurers inside the tower off their feet...,

Then exhales an inferno that fills the interior of the tower with flame!

Fire breath 20d10 ⇒ (9, 3, 10, 5, 10, 3, 10, 5, 2, 7, 10, 9, 2, 1, 9, 10, 3, 5, 2, 7) = 122 fire damage, DC 30 Reflex save for half....

Round 4: Round not for who the Bell tones
======================================

Properly set up, unbeknownst or fully so to the dragon-being, Nacht strikes.

A Flurry of blades cutting at it softer underbelly, Nacht trying to inflict as much pain as possible. It as as though a wraith of blade appeared out of thin air, but from the sounds of the other beings this one was particularly tough.

Flanking from the bottom to Paddy's top

I assume that Alphonse is the one with the longsword, unless you gave it to Nacht. If Wounding hits the Dragon starts bleeding.

Round 3 still

Having opened the top of the bell tower to the sky with a blow of its mighty tail, the red wyrm now snakes its massive head into the tower and snaps its jaws down on Alphonse, sinking its sword-like teeth through the aasimar's plate armor and into his flesh!

Bite 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (12) + 35 = 47 strikes for 4d6 + 21 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 5) + 21 = 41 damage! CRUUUUNNNCH!!!

Fortunately, the Beast uses its claws to grip the outside of the tower to steady itself for biting, and it's wings are too big to effectively strike down through the hole along with its massive head and neck.... Which are now within reach of Foereaper!

Round 3

A great cracking sound like a peak of thunder accompanies the dragon's tail slam as the entire roof of the belfry is blasted away, and a hail of mortar falls into the now open bell tower!

Alphonse, Fredrick, Iommi, Pater Dominico, the goblin minstrels, and anyone else still inside the bell tower must make Reflex saves, DC 15, or be struck by falling mortar, taking 3d8 ⇒ (5, 7, 6) = 18 bludgeoning damage....

I want to use his basic hydrokinces to create 16 gallons of water that will fall into the dragon's mouth of possible. Btw 16 gallons of water weighs 128lbs.

GLUG GLUG GLUG GLUG.... YOU THINK I THIRST FOR WATER, INSOLENT WORM!?? 'TIS BLOOD THAT SLAKES MY THIRST!!! BLOOD OF VIRGINS!!!

Natural 20 had 6 corrosive damage, 8 holy damage and 7 sneak damage

[dice=Acrobatics to balance on THE DRAGON]1d20+16

OUCH!!!! YOU LITTLE BASTARD!!!! THAT ACTUALLY HURT!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

The Beast chuckles at Fredrick's attempts to harm it with lightning....

DO YOU SEEK TO TICKLE ME, PUNY WATER WITCH!?

Round 2

Conflagratius continues to slam it's massive tail into the belfry, knocking loose mortar and opening new gaps in the tower walls!

Fredrick gionnav wrote:

he takes on two more burn.

Following Alphonse up the shuddering stone spiral stairs inside the belfry, Fredrick finds a gap in the wall that allows sunlight and line of sight of a patch of scarlet scales where the dragon's massive tail has lashed away some of the ancient mortar....

A blast of charged water sizzles through the gap and scorches the dragon's tail!

YYEEEAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!!! WRETCHED WATER WITCH!!! I'LL SMOKE YOU OUT OF YOUR HIDEY HOLE!!!!

Alphonse Veritus wrote:

Alphonse tries to run up the stairs to the belltower, shouting a challenge to the beast.

"Come and face me, foul spawn of evil!"

The dragon hears a defiant challenge from within the bell tower and turns a predatory eye to pierce the smoke and gloom below....

What's this? A champion of light come to challenge the relentless darkness? A would-be Saint Michael thinks he can chain the Beast and send it back to the Lake of Fire? A would-be Saint George wants to try to slay the terrible wyrm?.... Excellent!

Conflagratius notices that the Cathedral below looks a little too intact....almost defiant....amid the surrounding wreck and ruin....

Hovering over the bell tower, the great wyrm lashes at it with its massive tail, hammering at the ancient stone until the bells within vibrate a mournful harmony!

[dice=Stealth]1d20+39

Standard Move to go invisible, One Move action. 20 of the stealth is invisibility

DC 27 Will save versus frightful presence or Hisao wets his ninja jammies....

As Hisao also glides like a ghost, unseen and unheard, out of the Cathedral, he looks up to see the great red apocalypse in the sky....

It is perhaps 150 ft above the city, close enough to hammer the seaside port with palpable terror by its very presence, but not close enough for its fiery belches to have burnt anything in Naples....

Paddy wrote:

Well, no time like the present, right?

Paddy leaps into the air and turns invisible. He gets as close to the beast as he can, blade at the ready.

If he's leaping into the air, am I to assume he's flying?

Paddy soars invisibly through the nave of the church and out the main portal into the evening air....

He beholds the Beast in all its hateful splendor and fearsomeness, wings outstretched as it seems to hang and slowly glide in the coppery dusk sky.... A nightmare out of Revelations.... The Beast of the Apocalypse tearing apart the mournful sky....

A plume of red flame bursts from its howling maw, evaporating the clouds....

The Beast of the Fiery Pit come to raven and slaughter....

Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Suddenly, a roar can be heard outside the cathedral, a primitive, reptilian shriek of hatred and avarice, hunger and malice, splitting the sky!

It is echoed by the faint screams of terror that come from within nearby buildings and on the streets and quays of Naples!

The swelling moan of unnatural winds howls through the city to drown out the cries of terror....

In Infernal: France shall suffer for harboring these Lusty Fools! Her fields and towns shall burn! Paris shall burn!!!

Rearing its great head and beating it's great wings, the Beast fills even the imp's evil heart with terror! Coins whirl about the cavern, caught up in the whirlwinds created by the dragon's wings!

Very well, Witch of Eye! Begone, before I change my mind....

The dragons lowers its great head once more to rest it on a dune of treasure.... It closes its eyes....

In Draconic: Aside from this troublesome news of the loss of Pierre the Necromancer, and by extension, Sir Grimulf.... You tell me nothing I didn't already know, Witch of Eye.... You disturb my slumber to tell me what I already know, with additional irksome news, and expect me not to roast you where you stand!?

The great horned, scarlet-frilled head rears up on a massive, serpentine neck, towering several stories above the trembling Witch of Eye....

Opening one great yellow-glowing, serpentine eye, the ancient fire dragon rumbles a reply in Draconic: I'll make no such concession, lest your visit displease me, Witch of Eye By Westminster.... Speak, and be brief, or I'll stray from my usual diet of virgin maids and eat an old harlot witch for supper!

The colossal dragon stretches, shifting great dunes of gold and silver treasure studded with gems, weapons, armor, staffs, wands, scrolls, potions, and wondrous items in a cacophony of treasure-jingle....

HARHARHARHARHARHARHARRRR!!!
