dumb dice roller...

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Cian turns and stares at the half-elf. Triel's decisive actions spur him on and he tries to lob flame at where he'd last seen the man before darkness enveloped all of them.

Selected Flame Jet(Fire): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Fire Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 20 Oh, NOW the dice cooperate....

"Triel, calm down! It's normal to be suspicious in circumstances like this, honestly. Wouldn't you be wary if someone had kidnapped you and left you tied up?"

"Eyes?" Cian asks quietly, confused. "Ameiko, what happened here? Your friend at the inn asked us to look for you because you weren't back yet."

The sorcerer nods and hurries over to where the others are.

"We found someone tied up in the room we checked! What about you gut Says?"

If you can use call lightning underground and indoors you should be able to use a bloodline power. :)

Maybe if we muffled it? Does anyone have a cloak to spare?" Cian asks quietly, still careful to look behind everyone in case one(or more) of those sneaky green buggers were trying to ambush them.

"Wherever she is, let's pray she's alive so we can have some sort of small victory here today."

I've p,aged Geist and Mage. Love it all.

The level staggering was cool, but it's a bit more work than I'd like. We'd need actual XP handed out too.

Background skills aren't bad, but I'd avoid grouped skills. It just leaves a bad taste when you realize an inquisitor with grouped skills has no means of identifying monsters as class skills. :/

I've checked the book out somewhat in depth and if there's anything I'd like to see its the dynamic magic item creation. It's amazing.

Having played my share of goblins to hilarious effect while still being gross(like carrying a dead, rotting cloaker around because "Gip not leave good cloak!") I can agree even with the sarcasm. :)

"Not that I was much use last time. My fire seems to be fickle today." The Mage sighs as he leans on the wall and watches the hallway.

Sounds okay to me

"Good plan." Cian agrees, looking around for something to bar the door with. "Maybe a tool or something? We should be quick though, in case the little cretin went and got friends."

Cian frowns and finally takes his cloak off, putting it over the glassed man and gives him a brief prayer to Irori before leaving him to follow Triel.

"They'll burn either way."

On my iPad. And it didn't work from the edit menu either. I was just trying to make it bigger to see the glass man...

I'm going to apologize quickly. I seem to have deleted the map background by accident.

"Stop!" Cian says quickly, looking worried. "If you break it his skin might come with it, and that'll be worse than seeing him in the glass!"

No idea. Ive never thought about. Hmm...

"I'm sorry about that. I've tried to make the fires burn things so they don't stink as much, but... Well, it just doesn't work."

"I'm.. fine." The sorcerer says after a moment, his eyes lit up from the inside as he looked around quickly for anymore goblins.

Been busy. Will post soon.

Side note: pathfinder unchained has some cool stuff.

Selected Flame Jet, Bless, Inspire: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 21
Fire Damage, Inspired: 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 = 7

And *FWOOSH* goes a goblin face! Or part of it!

Cian wasn't sure what to do. He seemed to be only a minor nuisance to the goblins, especially compared to Triel's greatsword. He readied his flames for any goblin that got closer.

My actions from last round will stand, though they aren't needed it seems. Gotta love those greatswords! ^^

Readied action to cast Selected(range version) Flame Jet on a goblin if it moves closer.

Not much I could've done different anyway, sorry for the delay though.

Seeing Triel has at least that goblin occupied, Cian decides to change tactics and work on wearing the goblin directly behind the one Triel was cutting out. Running forward a bit, he chants a spell and cause greasy black smoke to envelope the goblins briefly.

"Engone, disilio!"
Moving three squares diagonal to be across from Triel and casting Burst(target) Wrack(pain) to put the two goblins in a ten foot radius burst. DC 15 Fortitude save or be sickened for one round.

Yay, KLS!

Seemingly an unlimited supply of fire, Cian throws another little ball of fire at the goblin after inviting to this plane of existence.

Aimed at the one in front of Arathorn, at the end of the table.
Selected Flame Jet, Inspire, Bless: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 17
Damage: 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4

I would've done it then, but it was nearly 3 am...

Tomorrow I'll burn something.

None hear. It's how all my offline GMs have done it. Initiative order at the bottom of posts is helpful too.

I wish the goblins were numbered. And, sadly, it looks like we might need a replacement for the happiest elf.

Cian takes the last bit of inder flame he needs it, now bolstered by spell and song, at the nearest goblin after running closer. "Selecti, Ignis Jet!"

Move Action: move right behind Ithylia(three squares to the right, then two up from my current spot.

Flame Jet vs Touch AC: 1d20 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 + 1 + 1 = 13
Fire Damage: 1d4 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4

Why am I not in the door on the map?

Ah, I see the problem. I meant the door Vanya went through when I posted, but didn't make that clear. After that he's just passing so he can wait for the goblins to get closer.

The Cantrips were removed from UM before publication, sadly. Cian wil stay or move aside to let others through.

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Cian runs in when he hears Triel's "stressed" language and stops at the door where he can see her and Arathorn again.

Move action: move in so he's close next turn.

Cian redies himself, drawing magic from his self and preparing for either goblins or saving people. What good fire would do for saving people he doesn't know, but he'd try.

Me too.

"I'll explain later. He lies. "Can we inspect the suspicious looking Glassworks now, please?"

"Like curtains ever stopped me from looking in." Cian laughs softly, then pauses. "That sounded less like a deviant's brag in my head."

The same.

The mage nods, smiling just a bit. A distraction from all this would be good.

"I'm ready to find out just what's going on in this town."

Cian watches helplessly as Triel takes charge, more or less. What could he do? He'd never had to deal with a situation like this before.

This is what I get for not scrolling down on my campaign tab.

"If he's up for it, I'd like to talk to the boy too." Cian says quietly.

"This is.. unsettling." Cian murmurs as he helps search. Quiet houses were not something he particularly liked.

Sorry, guys.

[dice=Pre "end of the day" initiative]1d20+3[/dice]

Cian swallows the bile that rises in his throat after looking into the child's room. This.. This was bad. He could only pray the boy was alright. He started walking back toward Ithylia's to help her look around. The bed room didn't really need his efforts, did it..?

If he's one of the few that know about drow, this'll be good...

"Welcome. I'm sure you're skill will help. Arathorn, was it? I'm Cian Molan, mage."
