Dwarf Wizard
"That you Lad." He responded.
Pointing to the back room, "I've got a workspace you can use for the burning and sprinkling. Feel free."
Dwarf Wizard
"Well, there is this one thing you can do for me. If you got the time of course. About two months back, Niece of mine went exploring some ruins about week north of here. Haven't seen her since. It ain't unusual for her to disappear like this, but I've got an uneasy feeling. If you could look into it, I'd be much obliged."
Edited.
Edited the Edit. *facepalm*
Dwarf Wizard
After a little more digging, the Dwarf produced a scroll. Holding it out to Chris, he said, "Here. Burn it to ash and sprinkle them over the coat. That'll hide it from all but the most powerful Diviners."
Dwarf Wizard
Stepping forward and adjusting his spectacles for a better look, Choztu remarked, "Oi, you wear that, and you might as well wear a sign saying 'Legion, take me away please.'" Turning around, the Dwarf began rummaging through some drawers, "What daft fool gave you that?" He asked.
Dwarf Wizard
Upon the Witch's return, looked up from a scroll he was scribbling. "Back already Lad? Anything I can do for you?" And after a quick look around, he added in a low tone, "Did you get the package I sent you?"
Dwarf Wizard
Shaking the daze out of his mind, Choztu answered, "Sorry Lass, got lost in thought. The Lighthouse, yes, head down to the docks, turn south, and just keep walking until you come to it. Can't miss it. And don't mind Geoffry, the old dog barks worse than he bites."
Turning to Jin, "That it does Lad, that it does."
Dwarf Wizard
Looking at the Half-Orc again, "Well, I wouldn't say that. Geoffry doesn't like having to light the old lighthouse while it's out."
Then the Dwarf put out his hand to Flynt and said, "Give me one of those quivers and, let's say one thousand gold, or the equivalent of, and I'll make it so it produces ten frost arrows a day for you. Deal?"
Dwarf Wizard
Turning to Gashka, "It just seems that way because it doesn't seem as bright. As I said, don't worry."
Looking back to Flynt, the Dwarf crossed his arms, "That depends. What do you favor, Earth, Air, Fire, or Water?"
Dwarf Wizard
The Dwarf looked at the quivers the young man carried. "You know, having two of those isn't necessarily efficient. I could modify one for you, for a modest price of course."
Dwarf Wizard
"Regular stars no, but the Polaris Star is that giant crystalline structure above the city. And that isn't a regular star now is it?" Choztu responded.
Dwarf Wizard
"Oh that? The Star goes out about every three hundred years or so. It'll light right back up in about a week, give or take." Choztu says without any hint of deception.
Dwarf Wizard
Hearing the bell, the Dwarf walked in from the back. "Ho there, back again I see, what can I do for you this time Lad? And I see you brought friends."
Dwarf Wizard
"Choztu Spellshard, be my name. Take care Lad."
Dwarf Wizard
That was fun. I really enjoyed myself. I'll let you know if I want to continue later. Right now I've got other things going.
Dwarf Wizard
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 13
Necromancy without magic? I didn't think it was possible. Best not let this fall into the wrong hands.
Dwarf Wizard
Seeing Ralthak go down, and before Maus gets there, Choztu launches his crossbow bolt.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
And in his haste, missed completely.
Dwarf Wizard
Quickly loads his crossbow, but doesn't fire it. Instead, he points at the mad man and says, "Arcanas Ballistalas" Then a golden bolt of energy flies from his amulet at the crazed individual.
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Striking him square in the face.
Dwarf Wizard
Choztu levels his crossbow at one of the Zombies and looses a bolt.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Assuming 16 is high enough to hit, Damage: 1d10 ⇒ 10
The bolt flies true and embeds itself deep in the zombies chest.
Ammo: 23/30
Dwarf Wizard
I'm just the 'artillery support'. Lead on.
Dwarf Wizard
Knowledge: Arcana 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Choztu searches his memory for the meaning of the star on the door, but can recall nothing.
Dwarf Wizard
"Don't be so harsh on the boy, Cilda. In case you hadn't noticed, Maus here was in some sort of trance. I imagine it had something to do with that thing's dancing." Choztu states rather matter of factly.
Dwarf Wizard
Feeling Cilda move up behind him, Choztu moves forward. Then gets out of the Barbarian's way.

Dwarf Wizard
Fires another bolt of acid.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
A momentary lapse in focus causes the spell to fly wide of the target.
Dwarf Wizard
Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Not quite understanding what the thing was attempting to accomplish, launches a bolt of acid at it.
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Assuming that the thing does not have an AC 22+, Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
The spell struck true, but not in a vital area.
Dwarf Wizard
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 1
To concentrated on not freaking out to notice anything.
Dwarf Wizard
"Good advice Ralthak." Choztu says, having a hard time moving towards the walkway. [i]"Bah boy, 'ou ain't go' the stomach fur it."[/b] he hears his father say in his head.
Shakes his head, exhales, and walks on the walkway. Hugging the wall so tightly, that he looks about to merge with the stone.
Dwarf Wizard
"If the stone is solid, we will be fine. But still....." Looks at Natty, "You go first."
Dwarf Wizard
I say, back to the monolith room.
Dwarf Wizard
Updated Character sheet with ammo count and changed out Mage Armor for another Magic Missile. Also switched Mending for Predigitation.
Choztu spends the next several hours resting as best he can. The moment he awakes, his nose is in some leather bound tome, brow furloughed in concentration.
Dwarf Wizard
Wait, I wasted a good roll? >:( DAMMIT!!! lol
Follows Maus back to the statues.
Dwarf Wizard
After getting covered in undead goo, Choztu says to Natty, "Hit him hard enough?"
Fortitude: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
Oh NOW I roll descent. XD
Dwarf Wizard
Reloads and fires.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 2 - 4 = 5
You've got to be kidding me.
Dwarf Wizard
Choztu reloads his crossbow, faster than normal, and fire again.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 2 - 4 = 2
Woooow. This just keeps getting better.
Dwarf Wizard
Aims his crossbow, aiming carefully, and pulls the trigger.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 2 - 4 = 12
The bold sails over the beasts head.
Dwarf Wizard
Points at one of the creatures. "Dissolve."
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Going to assume that's a hit. Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1
Dwarf Wizard
Knowledge: Arcana 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
"They are Thassilonian, just like the Runelords. These particular symbols are for Gluttony and Necromancy," Choztu says while keeping his crossbow at the ready.
Dwarf Wizard
Dwarf Wizard
Reloads and follows suit.
By the way, what did we get for XP from the hands?
Dwarf Wizard
Knowledge: History, for more info on The Council of Truth 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Dwarf Wizard
Startled, Choztu takes a couple steps back and fires his crossbow.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Critical Attempt: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Damage: 2d10 ⇒ (10, 7) = 17
Choztu's aim is true as the bolt pierces the hand between the middle and ring fingers and penetrates to the wrist bone.
HOLY S#*^!!!!!
Dwarf Wizard
After seeing the pile of desecrated dead, Choztu speaks up, "No ones remains deserves this. They may not be dwarfs and I may not be a priest, but..." Says a Dwarven prayer.
Dwarf Wizard
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 3
Too fixated on Natty nearly getting electracuted to notice anything else.
Dwarf Wizard
*Knocks on wood* Don't say that, you'll ruin it.
Dwarf Wizard
Wow, that's a pretty tough trap with a roll of 21.
Dwarf Wizard
Nerves grated by the half-orcs humor, Choztu replies, "As I said before; the Ancestors deserve their rest, don't disturb them."
Dwarf Wizard
"Next time you have a brilliant idea about a shortcut, keep it to yourself." he vents while brushing himself off. "Ye should 'ave listened to ye instincts, ye durned fool." he could hear his father say.
Dwarf Wizard
Reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Dwarf Wizard
Well I can't just let them go off by themselves. You're going to be okay. Choztu thinks to himself, trying to calm his fear of heights.
Starts to climb down the rope.
Climb: 1d20 ⇒ 5
If that's a fail, this could hurt.
Dwarf Wizard
"You got to admire the craftsmanship." Choztu says in awe.
