Maybe. I like this AP, but I don't like the day-to-day "influence people" monotony. I find it dry and lacking action. We would need three new players at this point too, so all the relationship tracking goes out the window. If I were to pick it up again I would probably move us past that part, or at least expedite it, but as of right now I can't commit, too many games going on :)

I'm still here but I assumed that the campaign is more or less dead with two missing players and a missing GM. It's too bad, I was looking forward to playing with you guys.

Wormwood - Quartermaster's Store Chandria takes the opportunity to purchase a chain shirt from Grok. "My thanks, miss. You've been a great help." Man's Promise I'm so over this. Chandria sighs heavily as her animal slaughtering days continue. "One sheep it is," she says, heading down to the galley. Eyeing the sheep with anger in her eyes, she imagines Scourge's face on the harmless creature, and pulls out her falchion. She charges it across the neck and slices it cleanly, leaving her face and the surrounding area a bloody mess of guts and blood. Profession (Cook): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

I'd been traveling on vacation the past week and completely forgot to post a notification of this in this game. Apologies. I'm back now and getting caught up.

I hope you guys enjoyed my interim GMing, I enjoyed running it! I am glad to have Tide back. I've levelled Chandria up but need to update my sheet here on the boards. For now, I will just post to RP and update my sheet later today. Chandria hobbles up on deck from below, dried vomit still stuck to the corners of her feathered mouth. Finally... Sunlight... How long has it been? At least a week had passed since she was left for dead in a box in the bilges, and she'd endured all manner of spider bites, hunger, and disease from being forced to drink the filthy bilge water. She'd found her way out yesterday as Lucien had been investigating some of the crates below, with the crate she'd been stashed in becoming lodged open after colliding with the edge. Seeing Bleepos on deck, Chandria quickly darts over. "Bleepos, sogladtoseeyou!" She eagerly says in a word mush, "So glad to soon be off this disgusting heap. What did I miss? Where's everyone else?"

Just to keep you guys up to date, I haven't heard back from Tide yet, and we can't really continue until I've got the information and until we recruit a couple more players... I will let you know as soon as I hear anything.
Female Tengu Alchemist (beastmorph) 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 13 / T: 12 / FF: 11 | Fort: +4, Ref: +5, Will: +0 | CMB: +3, CMD: 15 | Init: +4, Perception: +6
I think I'll need to get a bunch of information from Tide if we go ahead with this. I think I recall each NPC having an attitude rating to each PC, and that in turn effects what they'll let you get away with and such. I will need to read the past few pages to get up to speed, including the spoilers. And probably read a bunch of the first book to remember everything. I don't mind doing this, it will just take some time. As for my character, I wouldn't be opposed to someone botting Chandria but that can get to be a lot of work playing as 2 PCs, so if you guys want to instead recruit someone as another replacement and we stick Chandria in the holds, that is fine with me too.

I own the first two books, actually, but that's a tough call to make and I would not want to feel like I'm stepping on any toes... It's Tide's game after all. Possibly with his, and everyone else's approval, we could work something out. I run two other games on the boards so I'm not completely new to this at all :)

I'm with Aq here. I've done the same thing where I left a game that I was GMing alone for months because I just couldn't find time for it, so I get it. I play in a bunch of other games so I don't mind this one being on hold for a while. Take care Tide!

Bacon, get yer bacon!: Chandria smiles, pleased with herself but disgusted all the same. She sheathes her oversized weapon and grabs one of the pig's hocks, dragging the bloody corpse over to Kroop. "Chef Kroop, here's the pig. Not bad, right?" Int: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Need some sausage with those eggs: "You're not going anywhere!" With determination in her voice, Chandria charges at the pig with her falchion raised high. Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 202d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 2) + 3 = 9 Confirm: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 62d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3) + 3 = 8

Ham for breakfast, porkchops for lunch: Chandria seizes the opportunity to unleash another strike at the pig as it runs by her. Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 52d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 3) + 3 = 10

Chandria fights: Assuming I'm within melee range Chandria draws her falchion and swings it at the pig. Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 132d4 + 3 ⇒ (1, 4) + 3 = 8

Chandria the butcher: Chandria gulps hard as she reluctantly walks over to the pig. She takes a butcher's knife and wallops it on the head with the back of it, attempting to knock it unconscious. She then focuses and slides her knife across the bottom of its neck, spilling blood everywhere and nearly vomiting in the process. When the bleeding slows, she drags the heavy corpse over to Kroop. "C... Chef... Here it is..." Need any rolls for that, Tide?

Chandria silver tongues it: Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16 Chandria reluctantly takes a drink, swallowing hard as the bitterness of the rum burns her throat. She really didn't want to have to slaughter a pig. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
"Chef, why don't you show me how it's done? You're the professional here! I'd really like to learn a thing or two from you, you know? Perhaps you could take care of the pig, and I could take care of the more menial task of preparing vegetables? What do you say, Chef?" Bluff if I may do so again: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16
Female Tengu Alchemist (beastmorph) 2 | HP: 20/20 | AC: 13 / T: 12 / FF: 11 | Fort: +4, Ref: +5, Will: +0 | CMB: +3, CMD: 15 | Init: +4, Perception: +6
Chandria's actions: "Oh, the Hurricane King, huh? The leader of the Pirate Council? Wow, and I'm sure you did such a great job, too. Someone with your cooking skill couldn't possibly create anything less than amazing!" Bluff: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15 It's been a while. Is that a fort save for the rum ration, and do you need that now or later? When Kroop isn't looking, Chandria nabs the two minty green potions and tries to identify them.
2nd Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 Lucky lucky That hook could be incredibly useful, especially after yesterday's events. She will try to grab it when she has a moment.

Chandria spends her night sleeping soundly, doing her best not to stir up trouble just yet. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 Tide, I think my first spoiler is missing

Chandria never met Slippery Syl, and shrugs at the news. She's more concerned that the goblin pirate lives on and wonders what he may have endured, staring at him in wonder. "Did they throw you in a box and leave you for dead too?" She follows the others lead and climbs into the boat
Not being very skilled at moving it, she lets the more experienced sailors do so. Once it's in place, she picks up the grappling hook and throws it across, missing the ship broadly as the hook splashes into the water. Her head darts around in ten different directions to see if anyone noticed.

Chandria rushes over to assist Dacota and Aq, holding the ropes behind them and pulling with all her might. Aid strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
She's feeling particularly strong today. Perhaps her late night discussions with the others has her feeling encouraged.

Chandria nods at Aqguazula. "You bet I'll help you. A four armed Malenti would be quite the ally to be reckoned with." She smiles. Having a mean looking bodyguard would ease a lot of her tension. "It's something I'd love to learn, but the studies are not trivial and the anatomical features involved are detailed... I may not be able to craft such mutagens until we're off this ship anyway, but first things first." Trying to imply that she won't be able to craft beastform mutagens until level 3. I realize she can't share them with others, but she doesn't know that yet.

"A Malenti.." Chandria steps back for a moment and surveys Aqguazula in his true form. A few feathers fall onto the deck as she shudders, but relief washes over her face as she comes to a realization. "I'm not bothered by it. I've read about sahuagin anatomy and how they can mutate at random. It's quite impressive. I, myself, hope to one day be able to craft mutagens with similar effects." She grins, finally given the chance to brag about her extensive knowledge and booksmarts.

Chandria puts away her falchion and stand back in awe of all of the blood drinking. "You know, blood makes quite the potent poison if mixed just right. Combined with a little bit of Varisian cabble-weed will put just about anyone to sleep. I'm a little embarrassed to mention it, but it helped me through a few tough times back at home."

"I hope your plan can turn the tables here... I'll find you in the morning. After I get my kit back, yet again..." She sighs loudly, then twitches thinking about what Plugg might do if she ever throws another bomb. She'll have to keep her temper in check next time.

"Um, I haven't killed anyone..." Chandria shrugs at all the talk of murdering others. "Well, except for that sahuagin, and possibly some pirates sooner or later..." The jittery tengu seems a little annoyed with the current state of affairs. "Do we have a plan? We've been on this ship for days. You seem resourceful, Aqguazula, you must surely be planning something... Although, maybe we should not talk about this here." Diplomacy: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (17) - 1 = 16

Chandria struggles to catch her breath after the blow from Plugg, but Aqguazula's magic has her feeling much better, and she stands up with a few less feathers. "Thank you," she nods to Aq. Once Plugg is out of sight, she continues "I... I HATE that Plugg! I'd like to plug his mouth with one of my explosive vials... And see how much he talks then..." She draws her falchion at Aq's request and holds it up in front of the sahuagin.

Chandria shakes her head. "I have to give up my kit, even after stopping those sahuagin?! If it weren't for us, who knows what those creatures would've done!" She crosses her feathered arms, looking thoroughly annoyed and sighs. "I suppose I can get it back from Grok with a little persuasion, and hopefully there won't be any more boarders before then."

Ah, gotcha "G-g-go away, sea monster!" Trembling in fear, Chandria channels her flight-or-fight response to leap five feet towards Dacota and quickly slice at the blue sahugain's chest with her blade. Falchion: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 172d4 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1) + 3 = 7

Why are these things attacking us? What ARE they, anyway? Chandria thinks to herself as she quickly continues up the stairs and sees the two fish-like creatures. A couple of black feathers fall to the ground as she tries to stay still, overcome with nerves. "Dacota... Duck!" The tengu reaches into her pack and pulls out a bubbling flask. She tosses it at the red-finned creature. Bomb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 201d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Not a problem at all, I'm just glad to be in your game again! Ah, another day in the kitchen it'll be... The tengu thinks to herself as she nervously collects the pots. She turns to her crewmates who have just returned, "I hope you managed to get these without too much trouble. Sorry I couldn't be of help... My luck here has been, well, lacking." She looks into the pots and her eyes grow wide, "But what a catch... And I know just the thing to make." She takes out her alchemy kit and flips through it, wondering if perhaps an additive or two may perfect the flavors. She closes it up and follows Kroop to the galley.

That was a good read. Aqguazula got beat up by Grok, framed Sasha, and then pummeled Owlbear. Sasha nearly died from a vicious lobster shark type of creature before being saved by Linnet. Dacota spent more time than necessary in the ship's latrine. Tide, assuming Dacota and Sasha are also okay with it, I can leave it up to you in terms of how you'd like to tie over my character and when you'd like her back in. Some quick things such as too much bad rum, seasickness, or imprisoned in the ship for a few days come to mind. She did spend some time in the sweatbox, so her reputation on the ship wasn't exactly positive. Also, any idea what equipment Chandria has? Aq?

Three months later, I decided to check in. Sorry for the long absence, I've been quite busy with everything (new marriage, new job, new condo) and only recently came back to a few campaigns on the boards. I know I'm far too late to rejoin this AP, but at least wanted to apologize for abandoning our game. Sorry!
