I support unlimited replays because then Paizo doesn't have to worry about supporting a legacy system to keep track of games from the old version. Much better to start with something new and shiny, not an old system wrapped in duct tape trying to do too much. Also according to many of the GMs above (I would guess higher than average stars) it would help jump start 2 edition because for many of the high-volume GMs that is all they'd play. Paizo just doesn't make much if people refuse to move on to the new edition.

Quote:

The real world definition of cannibalism is constrained because we have only humans. But in a fantasy world like Golarion we have HUNDREDS of fully sapient creatures, so cannibalism means eating something fully sapient there, just because it's not humanoid in shape doesn't change that.

So for your example, yes, a ratfolk eating a Minotaur is still cannibalism.

Not at my table.

NOUN
a person who eats the flesh of other human beings:
"cannibal tribes"
synonyms: man-eater · people-eater · anthropophagite · anthropophagist
an animal that feeds on flesh of its own species.
synonyms: man-eater · people-eater · anthropophagite · anthropophagist

Seems to me that GMs are the arbiters of what constitutes an alignment shift at your table, which is another way of saying Table Variation.

Except that table GMs are required to obey the rulings of the campaign staff, so table GMs are required to treat cannibalism as an evil act.

That said, while it being officially an evil act in PFS, and thus automatically an alignment infraction, that doesn't mean the first occurrence is automatically an alignment shift.

I don't consider a giant-rat like creature eating a bull (aka BEEF)-like creature as cannibalism. Therefore I don't consider it an evil act.

If a person eats a dolphin, and if some people propose a dolphin is sentient, does that make that person a cannibal? NOOOOO!!!!

The cats probably consider humans non-sentient.

Quite a few people would consider it evil to eat a dog, cat, or horse. Non-sentient.

FYI played this at a con PFS sanctioned. We played six five hour slots and still only got as far as the first combat on the lower level (the ice room). The adventure quickly got difficult as some of us started at 1st level and the level bumps did not go fast enough for us, the further we got the harder it got. We started with 7 players, and one player (bard) had to leave after part 1. Then lost a PC permanently though death midway through part 2 and he decided not to continue with a new guy. We had an unbalanced party, three fighters, cleric, oracle/sorc(enchanter), swashbuckler/paladin/oracle. We were hurt having no rogue, wizard or druid with us. The number of skill points we had between us was likely pathetic. We had a number of quests we skipped as well, I could have seen this go another four slots (if we survived that long). My experience with multi-slot mods at cons has been finishing early in the past, but there is a lot more content in this one. If you are playing it PFS style I would recommend using a lvl 2 player to start so he is at least 4th going into the final part. Also make sure not to dally or you will not get to the end.

I have updated NPCs skill point build in Year 0 mods who have loads of Spot, Search, Listen, Rope Use, etc. and not getting the class skill bonus in class skills.

If four guys at your table want to play hard mode and you don't, they can consider you 'being a jerk'. You can get tagged as 'that jerk player'. That's why I am not a fan of this.

I would never play hard mode but wouldn't mind if they put out a Bonekeep style mod once a year. Except I remember at a con a group of players sitting down for Bonekeep would inspect PCs and if you didn't cut the mustard they would shoo you away from their table.

The more they sell I would assume they'd charge less. I don't see the scenarios as exceptionally better or worse then LG and I think that was mostly volunteer - or at least really low pay. Sorry.
