Geoff suddenly looks mollified. "I'm sorry good sir, I really have no idea what inspired me to attempt to kill you. Willing to forgive me old chap?" He then looks askance at his rapier. "Wait one moment old chum, I need to investigate something. Is this blade even sharp? I don't quite remember for certain. Well, only one way to find out!" Geoff changes his grip and plunges his blade at his torso. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 231d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3 The man grunts and stumbles back a few steps as he pulls his blade back out. "Yes, I do believe it does work. Still, I do believe I did not think this through."

Harktom the Sturdy wrote: "This is mess! Who made mess? You?" he says as he points to Captain Geoff. Geoff turns towards the newcomer. "I'm sorry good sir, but I'm rather preoccupied trying to prevent this child's untimely en-OH BLOODY HELL!", yells Geoff as the table slips from his grasp and turns the child into a rather unsightly paste. "No!" He turns to the half-orc, rage burning in his eyes. "You! You distracted me! This child's bloody entrails are on you hands, knave! Now have at thee!" Geoff rushes towards the half-orc and stabs his fine rapier at him. 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 241d6 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0 "Ha Haaaaaaaaaoooooh f%^&.", says Geoff as his blade fails to pierce his dread foe's think hide. I've been waiting the whole game for that.

"...then I will have to fi- Wait, what was I talking about? No matter-DELWYN NO! NOT THE CHILDREN!" Geoff desperately runs to the halfling and grabs ahold of his dreaded table. I'm guessing it's a CMB check to stop him from attacking and not just having the kid get attacked by a table with a bard stuck to it? 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18

"...Every captain's ship is his castle but no man is an island so a castle can sail to no man but a ship carries dozens of men so it carries dozens of islands but that would never work a ship can't hold that much weight so when I get a ship I'll have to be sure to staff it with only women. But wait..."

"Now, you shall now find out the consequences of crashing into random cafes! Have at thee, villains!" Geoff leaps from his perch on the table and moves up to the nearest triton, thrusting his rapier at it with perfect form. Moving next to the nearest triton and attacking: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 201d6 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Geoff leaps up onto another of the tables and points his sword at the lady. "Flee now, cowards, for you shall soon feel the wrath of Captain Geoff Vanderhaven!" As he says this, a few of the tritons feel themselves begin to faint from sheer awe. Jumping onto something convenient and casting Sleep on as many tritons as I can.(DC 16)

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Geoff quickly dusts off his hat and draws his rapier. "Ah, tritons. Devils of the sea. Or was that sahuagin? No matter. They certainly didn't come here for cake, I can guarantee it." He clears his throat and yells at the tritons. "I agree! State thy purpose or be prepared to feel out wrath!"

Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2 "It has honestly been too long since I saw you all. So, what brings you all to Al Kapone?" The good Captain takes a swig of milkweed juice, only to be rudely interrupted by the sudden appearance of two overgrown beetles. Reflex, then initiative: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16 |
