[PFS 1] Murder's Mark Questions
If I get Fast Learner in lv.5,can I get the first 4 level's bonus?
Alphavoltario wrote: So movement through difficult terrain takes twice the amount of movement than normal and you cannot 5-ft step without use of feats.
The entangled condition, and by extension, the entangle spell, halves a creatures movement speed.
So Entangle creates an area of difficult terrain doubling movement cost, and those that fail the save gain the entangled condition decreasing thier total move speed.
I hope that helps.
So the Difficult Terrain and Entangled Condition do stacks, they will reduce the creature's speed to 1/4. Am I get you right?
AwesomenessDog wrote: Not that entangle only lets you move if you aren't anchored to anything (the difference between having a prisoner's ball and chain on your leg and that same chain being fixed to a wall). Obviously, the plants are rooted into the ground, so you can't move under an entangle spell. IMO, if the Entangled Condition of Entangle Spell freeze creatures who failed, it has to be written in the description of Entangle Spell.
Entangle wrote, creatures that make their save can move as normal, while the entire area of effect is difficult terrain. So the normal means half speed?
And A creature failed the Reflex save gain entangled condition, so the creature will only has 1/4 speed?
AP#32 65, of cities and kings - ruling a kingdom - event phase
Monster Attack said,If the PCs don’t set out to defeat the monster or monsters, a Stability check removes the threat. If the monster is not defeated, Unrest increases by 4. If your kingdom’s Unrest is 5 or higher, the hex the monster dwells in becomes unclaimed at this time.
Is the bold words mean the Unrest is increase to 5+, or the original Unrest is 5+ and meet the Monster Attack, or both?
What about once(or X times) per day ability, such as Inspired Trait(reroll
the skill check) or Inspiration Investigator class ability(+1d6 in skill check)? Can they be used in Day Job?
What about go this way? If a character is in poor visibility, he can close his eyes to use blind rule to make a DC 10 Acrobatics to move in normal speed. Then open his eyes at the end of his turn.
There is no HR above, all within RAW.
Net Adept 's Requirement is Exotic Weapon Proficiency (net). It seems like a Feat.
One of my PC use Halr-Orc Racial Trait Beastmaster treating nets as martial weapons, and select Mague to proficient with all martial weapons. Does it fulfill the Net Adept 's Requirement?
If we have to make HR, how about the 60ft poor visibility remain unchanged and the creatures in poor visibility can make a DC 10 Acrobatics skill check to move faster than half speed?
I don't like to change RAW, supplement seems more acceptable.
Sounds reasonalbe, especially the part of poor visibility is worse than blind.
But how to explain the "poor visibility ×2" in Tactical Movement? I think "Tactical" means in combat.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I would say if the creature's visibility is reduced to less than 60 feet by environment, its movement cost ×2 due to poor visibility.
Some character's is less than 60 feet itself, such as Clouded Vision Oracle, is an exception, because it is not reduced by environment.
I got another rule.
Aquatic Adventures 44(Aquatic Rules, Thinking in Three Dimensions):
Flanking: All the usual rules for flanking still apply in three dimensions, but now there are far more ways for a target to potentially be flanked. It also means a larger number of weaker creatures can gang up on a stronger creature, since there are 26 valid spaces adjacent to a given square, rather than 8.
"26 valid spaces" under Flanking implies all the 26 squares can threaten the creature. Let's assume the designer means 5ft- melee attack, So It is proven that the diagonally threatened squares rules can be apply in three dimensions.
Let's just go with RAW and logic.
CRB 180:Threatened Squares: You threaten all squares into which
you can make a melee attack, even when it is not your turn. Generally, that means everything in all squares adjacent to your space (including diagonally).
Now, the question goes to the bold "diagonally" apply to three dimension or not. I believe most people will say Yes, while I still wanna make some digging within the area of RAW.
As you said, the three dimensional distance is horizontal + vertical. So 5ft higher and 5ft in horizon is 10ft away, (if calculating the range for range attack) but they can attack each other with melee weapon. Am I get you right?
And what about 10ft-reach weapon? Can I attack a creature which is 10ft away in horizon and 5ft higher (or 5ft in horizon and 10ft higher)?
If the answer is Yes, is that means I should always minus 5ft. when calculating the melee attack Threatened Squares?
Firstly, How to calculate distance for movement in three dimensions, just Addition or others?
I used to do addition.
The FAQ tells us there is no the Pythagorean theorem in Three Dimensions movement calculating, so just add the vertical distance to horizontal distance to ascertain the distance between 2 targets.
When goes to Threatened Squares calculating, a creature adjacent to another in horizontal plane but 5ft.-high is still counted as adjacent(5ft. in Three Dimensions) or 10ft.? They can attack each other with melee(not reach)weapon or not?
Can I buy Scholar twice and select different knowledge?
Scholar is a Business in Vanities, which comes from Pathfinder Society Primer 28:
Scholar (4 PP): There is more to learn about Golarion than most Pathf inders can conceivably remember, and a scholar who specializes in one particular subject can aid you in this task. The scholar grants you a +2 bonus on checks with one type of Knowledge skill that you choose
when you purchase this vanity, as if he had used the aid another action. Alternatively, the scholar can attempt that Knowledge skill check for you, using a +5 bonus.
RAW, in Adventures, I can borrow ally's consumables but I can't take it out of the Adventure. If I use it, I can not pay for it.
After Adventures, there is no item or money exchange, right?
Normally, players can not give or receive money from each other.
If I use ally's Consumable Items, can I pay him ?
One more exceeding resource.
We can ignore the Time Cost for weapon update, right?
And what about the Time Cost for a Gunslinger Repairing his initial, broken firearm?
Wilderness Origins 8: These alternate natural attacks modify only the damage type of the shifter’s natural attacks and otherwise function exactly as the shifter claws class feature.
Fey (Feyform Shifter Archetype): Bite (B, P, S), sting (P).
So if a Feyform Shifter replace one Claw by Bite, does it means the hand is free and able to hold a shield ?
