Given the current world events my group, like many others has taken our game online. We were really excited to get started with a new campaign and begin Extinction Curse but these maps are killing me.

At first I thought perhaps it was just limited to the adventure path PDF so I picked up the interactive map pack and it's honestly no better, these maps are pretty much worthless for VTT play. In particular the map on page 18 of The Show Must Go On which details the four locales. What am I meant to do with that? It's the size of a postage stamp when extracted from both the AP pdf and the Interactive Map pdf and blowing up an image that small to a point where it's useable results in trying to play a game on what looks like a Monet painting.

Has anyone from the community put together their own maps for this yet?

Here's an interactive Datapad I made for Salask in pt.2 of Dead Suns. Ideal viewing on a computer but it does work on a phone/tablet so long as you're prepared to scroll :)

Hey, so I put this together as an introduction for Reach of the Empire. It does contain some minor spoilers so keep that in mind if you're going to be playing in the campaign!

So I've been making video props for my home game for sometime, we're currently playing through the Dead Suns adventure path and my group is soon to start book 2.

Part of that book has the players access a computer terminal to find some emails. I thought it'd be fun to see if I could build an actual system they could play with... and here it is. I will have this on my laptop, once the players access the computer I'll cast it to my TV and pass the laptop to the player doing the "hacking" so everyone can see what they're doing.

There are a few other video props on my channel, if they're of use to you or your game in anyway then please feel free to use them!

If a character is to multiclass when he levels, does he take a feat being that the new class is level 1?

For example a level 1 Soldier levels up and takes a level in Technomancer, does he get a feat due to the Technomancer being level 1? Also, how does it work going forward in regards to feats? Would he obtain then the moment either class levels to an odd level?

Wayfinders

Hey, total newbie question so don't mock me too hard. Experience points. I've never used them as a levelling system in the past for fear of them being alot of additional book keeping. My group wanted to use them for Starfinder though and I've got a question I'm struggling with...

If you have 200xp until you level up and you earn 500xp for killing something does the additional 300xp carry over toward the next level or does it vanish?

I know, probably been asked and answered a million times ;)

So having never played Pathfinder and being strictly a 5e guy (boo! Hiss!) I'm a little perplexed about the skill DC's presented in Starfinder.

As a GM am I really expected to remember what the DC is for a character who's attempting an acrobatics check to balance on a 6 inch beam whilst in windy conditions? Am I meant to commit to memory what the formula for working out the DC for a PC to use an acrobatics check to bypass taking an attack of opportunity on a threatened square is?

Coming from 5e I'm beginning to feel like they'll never be a time where I don't have the rulebook open, marked with sticky tabs on dozens of pages. Is this normal?

5e leaves much of these DC's to the DM to decide, whereas Starfinder has hard coded rules and maths for everything. Surely I'm okay to just streamline much of this procedure by determining DC's using my own initiative, right?

Hey guys,

I'm about to run Dead Suns for my group, we're all new to Paizo products and during an intro session where we played 'Into the Unknown' a question came up I couldn't answer.

Where does the Starfinder Society fit in with regards to local law enforcement, especially on Absalom Station? Are they seen as equal to the stewards? Above them? Do the stewards view them as interfering? What about the public perception? Are they respected? Viewed as good/bad guys?

Like I said, we're new to Paizo so I'm not sure if this was cleared up in Pathfinder with the Pathfinder Society but I can't seem to find any details.

Thanks :)

Hey guys,

Just wanted to double check I've done the right thing here. I've just finished GMing my group through our campaign and we're about to embark on adventures within Starfinder. I've had all the books since they came out but I've only noticed today that my Core Rulebook has failed a con save and it's binding is coming away.

I know it's been a while since the book's release but I've literally just had it sat on a shelf waiting for our campaign to wrap up. Is there anything at all that can be done?

I've sent an email to the customer services email address (from the address associated with this account) with pictures of the binding and I'm now at your mercy.

Help me, Paizo-Wan Starnobi. You're my only hope.
