Hi Webteam,

on the Main Nav clicking on Pathfinder Society Navigation Link willl bring you to http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety

However this Page does not show all the content needed/intented.

Now if on that page, one clicks on the Hero Image one will get to this page: http://paizo.com/pathfindersociety/rpg

This then shows the content as intended for all I can see, inclufing the Additional Ressources etc.

So either please fix the deep link on the main nav to http://paizo.com/pathfindersociety/rpg

or putt all the content bits from http://paizo.com/pathfindersociety/rpg on the page http://paizo.com/pathfindersociety/

Cheers

ok I did now create a bogus account. Eventually there is a selection to either add an existing ID with confirmation code or create a new one.

Still, I think there should be some documentation around this that we can send to newcomers.

When creating a new Character following the link, this looks like a fresh signup. It doesn't seem to ask for an existing Pathfinder ID.

I am assuming if you follow this procedure, you will be assigned a fresh new ID - which is exactly what we want to avoid, right?

Anybody here to know for sure?

AFAIK you can always free/dismiss and find a new companion or replace a companion with a 24h prayer ritual.

So this question is about a char being attached to his companion that much that he would want to raise this specific one?

Hi Pathfinder Society Team with Paizo,

I have just handed out several Pregen ID cards to new players and wanted to followup with them of how to register with the Paizo website. But guess what, I cannot figure out how to register an ID with the confirmation code myself.

Could you please improve the UX, provide some FAQ / "how to" pdf or specific links for that to guide through the process. Using the http://paizo.com/pathfindersociety link just doesn't help.

I don't wanna loose new players because the signup is too frustrating or worse they signup with a new ID and the Chronicle they played are put on a different ID.

In case these all exists already, please help posting some links to the material.

Best

Ulf

Hi all

Slightly delayed due to reasons beyond our control I am delighted to introduce Andrew Wilson as Ireland's first VL. Andrew has been my right hand man in making PFS play a reality around here. A man whose fearsome reputation as a GM is legendary and who holds the local record for the longest time ever spent running a PFS module!

Like me he will be spreading the word across all of Ireland's four provinces and he is based in Belfast, N.Ireland.

Welcome on board Venture /lɛfˈtɛnənt/. :-)

William.

I might have someone interested in running Games around the Cork region. Do you know of any PFS activities there?

There is quite some surprise in this blog. Not sure what to think about it yet.

Also, calling Germany, Austria and Switzerland only Central Europe is kinda ... daring :D

I'd just call them Germany ;)

@Wolf ?!? WTH ?!? I don't think this is funny AT ALL.

What if the source of the bonuses are Ex from two different classes? They have the similar name, and work slightly differently.

Example at hand: Buckler Catch (Ex) and Shield Catch (Ex) from Buckler Duelist and Falcata Swashbuckler. They have similar effect, more or less being a Combat Maneuver with +4 bonus to disarm.

I deal with it by retraining a Feat that would count as Bonus Feat to get Extra Arcane and then take that Feat as the new Bonus one. Using retraining rules - but yes odd and cost extra resources and time.

My 2 cents

I find the term "spell attack" at several places in the rules which I find applicable to this question.

IMHO spell attacking defensively is fine.

That's not how it works. Flurry is a special full-attack action. TWF requires a full attack.
You cannot execute two full attacks in the same round.

I agree, one cannot execute all flurries and another 2 attacks from TWF - which clearly would be executing two full-attack actions.

My view is, that Flurry adds extra (attack) actions just like fighting with two weapons, having high BAB, haste, Spell Combat/Strike does.

Standing by for FAQ verification.

Rolling the damage is just resolving the action, not taking an action. Hence you cannot do a free action right before it.

Yes. Interrupt as in the temporal flow, not as in keep from doing.

1) Cap of twice normal speed

so Single move is 40'= (20'+30'|max20'x2)
Double is 80'
Run is 200'

1) My view is, that the monk can use TWF unarmed, even combine flurry and TWF for an "additional off-hand attack" on top of the "flurry additional attack" accepting the applicable attack penalties on all attacks. If the off-hand weapon is not a monk weapon, the standard TWF penalties apply - also applying 1/2 Strength bonus to weapon damage and not increasing the BAB to monk level.

So yes, you may use a weapon in your off-hand but dont need to.

2) and 3) I go with Emparawr, I believe the wording is along the line; check and roll numerical bonuses from the same type or source do not stack. Which dont apply here
