I see you made an attempt to reconnect with Inu with no success, so I am going to assume he is MIA for the next scenario. What about Galtorr? Is he going to be joining us, or is he still MIA?

Chyrone, I sent you another PM requesting the chronicle. For some reason I didn't receive it. You should consider linking the chronicles from your google drive. It simplifies things and eliminates the whole Email thing.

As for the next scenario and switching characters. If we don't recruit a healer, I will be switching. I currently have a couple healer type characters that are in the 3-ish level. In order to retain some resemblance of balance, I would prefer to bring a level 1-2 character, which I have one that I have been considering reworking. If i'm going to do that, I will need a little time to decided what to remake him into.

As it stands right now, we have an: Arcanist (Arcane), Alchemist (Arcane), Rogue (Skills & trapps), and a Wizard (Arcane). With arcane and skills covered, we could use a strong melee, healer, and a face character. If we are running with (5), which is more than acceptable, then I will either bring a melee (If we recruit a healer), or a healer (if we recruit a melee). I will attempt to create one of each to be prepared.

I wasn't sure if it was the throw anything bonus or the point blank bonus you left out. The throw anything bonus is an easy one to overlook. )

Yanda, I am assuming your shield extract has expired, but your mutagen should still be in effect. If you used a Dexterity extract, your attack would be (+3 Dex (Normal), +2 Dex (Mutagen), +1 Point blank shot, +1 Throw anything for a total of +7.) I don't know if that changes much, but at this point don't short yourself.

Items of interest in Boldren's inventory would be a wand of infernal healing, a wand of magic missile, 1x alchemists fire, and a dagger.

(Braxen unlike the heal skill, the DC for Boldren to stabilize is DC (10), That's probably where I got the (10) from when I thought your last heal was successful. That being said, on Boldren's turn, this round, he becomes stable at -5. I'm not sure if that would change what you want to do for this round or not. I only mention this because you said you where somewhat new to pathfinder, so I figured I would share that tidbit of information. Keep in mind that Braxen may not know what Boldren's current condition is without conducting a heal check.)

I was unaware of the strait line limitation on run. I always new it was a strait line for charge, but never new it applied to run as well. Nice catch.

Don't feel bad Chyron. As players we will be more critical of rules when it reflects a possible party wipe. This is in no way a reflection on you. You are running the mechanics correctly and I feel you are doing a good job at being impartial. I was surprised that Boldren stayed on his feet as long as he did. A wizard tanking a warrior is always a bad thing. Sometimes you just can't compensate for a bad situation. That coupled with a lack of healing and a hand full of bad rolls makes for a difficult encounter. None of which is your fault.

Ok, looking back, the warrior struck Boldren for 8 in round 5. This brought Boldren from 5 HP to -3. Round 6 he bleed for 1 which took him to -4. Round 7 he bleed for 1 which took him to -5. So currently he is at -5 and will attempt to stabilize again in round 8. If he fails, he drops to -6. Does that sound correct.

I will have to move Boldrens icon tonight when I get home. I don't have access to the map at the moment.

As the large Ulfen advances, Boldren steps back and once again activates his wand. Another bolt of energy streaks forward and strikes the large man.

(Free action) Move 5' back, (Standard action) Activate cruse missile wand and nuke the Ulfen.

Now moving in the opposite direction, Boldren steps back out of range of the warrior's mighty ax. After moving back, he once again activates the wand of magic missiles and releases another bolt of energy at the Ulfen.

Boldren backs away from the massive Ulfen, draws a wand and unleashes another missile at the blue assailant.

That entirely depends on what you feel like playing Yanda. We could wait to see who is recruited and to see if any of the current AFK players return and wish to continue.

Boldren's eyes grow large as the two massive Ulfen men enter the storage area. In a frantic attempt to avoid their mighty attack, the wizard staggers back and invokes the power of his ring (Arcane bond).

Calling upon the magic of the ring, the wizard releases a spell from his mind that didn't exist prior to the rings power. quickly, two arcane bolts shoot forth and strike the blue Ulfen.

(Free action) 5' adjustment, (Standard action) activate arcane bond and recall / use Magic missile, (Move action) retrieve wand of magic missile.

Boldren furrows his brow and points out the sound to Braxen. In a whispered voice, Boldren says "I think someone is on the roof and I hear something outside as well."

As a precaution, Boldren casts mage armor on himself.

Boldren nods in agreement with Braxen. "I think keeping an eye on these little guys is the right choice. I just don't think leaving them without any supervision is a good idea."

(At this point I'm not sure if Erlathan made it out and is with us or not. If he did, Boldren would respond to his recommendation.

Boldren looks over at Erlathan. “As I am sure it would put your mind at ease Erlathan, under normal circumstances I would be willing to shove off now. As Braxen has pointed out, I think attempting to leave prematurely would be offensive to our guests and I think the society’s invested interest with the castellan could be compromised. That with the fact it is extremely cold outside, makes spending the night here sound appealing. “

Looking back over at Braxen, Boldren continues. “I agree with the watch, maybe two posted up at a time. These little guys are sly and slipping past a single century might be a bit easy for them. I also think when we turn in for the night, we should set up a camp here as a group. You two keep watch for now and ill head back in, tell a few stories, and advise the others that we will be staying here for the night.“

After feeding the goblins, Boldren heads back into the main house to swap stories of combat and magic. Once comfortably inside, he asks the host if it would be OK for the group to spend the night where the goblins are being kept. He expresses a sincere concern about leaving the goblins unsupervised.

After pausing a moment to allow the dwarf time to gather a plate for himself, Boldren heads back to where the goblins are secured. While in rout he begins a conversation with Braxen. "I am not comfortable leaving our charges alone. For a wide number of reasons I think this is a bad idea. First, we haven't been able to keep these little guys secure for very long. Second, if anything happens we are not around to deal with the problem. Third, Erlathan is acting like something is unsettling him, which gives me pause. I think we should keep the goblins close at hand. What do you think about this?"

After arriving at the location where the goblins are being held, Boldren attempts to present them with the food.

I rolled the knowledge check in case you required it for Boldren to be aware of the troll's fast healing. The healing from the wand is intended for Inu.

As the troll hits the ground, Boldren quickly moves up to Inu. While in rout, he shouts to the rest of the group. "If you don't want the troll to return, you will need to burn it."

After arriving at Inu's location, the wizard pulls out his wand of infernal healing and activates the device.

"If no one has oil or fire, then it will be necessary to continue to damage the beast in order to keep him from regenerating."

Withdrawing will allow you to leave the first threatened square without provoking, but with Rimstusk having reach, you will provoke as you leave the 2nd square. From a distance, Boldren takes a good look at the troll and then turns to the group. "Well that doesn't look good. Does someone think they can actually parlay with the troll?" Boldren glances down at the remaining goblins. "At least we are no longer the most unusual thing in the city."

Because the spell makes you bigger and a bit slower, you will become a little easier to hit, but you will also be able to attack a target from a distance with your longer much more powerful arms. This in conjunction with a much bigger weapon will make someone a wrecking machine. Would anyone be interested in the spell if we get into a skirmish?"
