I completely understand, as I've been cast in two plays that go up in May and rehearsals come on top of my full-time work and my other obligations.

I don't know how much the events and challenges in this complex advance the plot, or maybe it's your standard dungeon crawl. We could always just pick up later "after" the complex and review what we found out about the story before continuing from there.

Unless, of course, there is a magical horse inside this outbuilding with a +1 flaming composite longbow strapped to its back. Then I insist we continue with the adventure! ;-)

"Well, their 'orsechoppers are not designed to be used from on top of the 'orse."

Blue quietly tries to open the outbuilding door, looking for evidence of horses. Before he opens it, however, he thinks about the dead goblins and the power of a horses kick, and stands to the side of the door as he opens it.

Blue nods to Vanea and first listens at the door to the outbuilding near the dead goblins. He then checks their wounds for signs and the grounds around the for tracks (particularly indications of whether they were dragged here after being pummeled or were killed on the spot here, perhaps while guarding the outbuilding).

"Are those gobbers really dead?" Blue steps over and puts an arrow through their eye to be certain.

So talented was Vanea's sleight of hand that Blue appears to be unaware of what she's doing. He just assumes it's the friction against the soft calfskin of his britches. Consequently he's confused about the girls' comments and the jokes go over his head.

"Without someone fooli- valiant like our fighter, we'll need a different tactic. Obviously, complete stealth is out of the question. Vanea, maybe you could make yourself..." he pauses, glancing at the chatterbox Vanea and realizing for the first time that her hand is... down his britches.
"Danger turns you on, doesn't it?" If you're 'oping to announce our presence to the 'ole complex, jess keep doin' what yure doin'."

Blue looks at the now trampled ground in front of the complex and sighs, wondering how many signs might have been trampled by his eager cohorts. Did the solitary goblin leave, join others, go below? Did others come looking for them? At least Vanea's work on the bridge has ensured that no one could weaken it.

He brushes off the dirt from crawling through the briar and draws his bow, ready to enter.

Once the others have cleared their makeshift camp, Blue will remove or obscure the evidence of they're having stayed there and follow behind. When he catches up to Rohan and the other stragglers, he asks,

"Don't y'all think it would be smart to 'eal up before we go chargin' back in there? Vanea's still got that nasty cut but Rohan, you look 'alf-ready to fall back down! Copperscale didn't look so great either before 'e rushed off."

Blue enjoys the banter among the team and thanks Nic for his gastronomical efforts. He checks the fletching on the new arrows, packs them into the quill and prepares to head out.
"Thanks to that gobbler - not you Copperscale - we know the way below the complex, and our quarry probably knows we're on to 'er. Should we clear the complex first anyway so that nothing 'inders a 'asty retreat?"

Blue takes time to fashion some arrows before unraveling his own bedroll and blanket. He nods in agreement to the watch roster as he removes his boots and armor. The fresh air and the aftereffects of the battle combine to help him fall quickly into sleep.

To be clear, Blue is on the far side looking to weaken the bridge AFTER crossing it. I assume Vanea is on the near side if she's trying to strengthen the bridge BEFORE crossing it. Blue's actions do not occur until the others have crossed, so Vanea may spend as much time as she likes strengthening the bridge on the near side.

Blue fumbles with the ends of the ropes holding the bridge, his tongue clenched to the side within his jaw, but he seems unable to figure out the configuration he's thinking about. With a shrug and a grumble, he leaves it alone and continues with the party into the briars. Once outside of the goblin den, he'll carefully pick their path back through the wild briar trying to avoid any stinging nettles or other hazards.
I don't recall if that was Knowledge (geo), Knowledge (nature) or Survival. Add +6, +7 or +9 respectively to the roll below.

Blue retrieves the bashed silver holy symbol and the garnet eyes, should they have been dislodged. He also picks up the iron key, suspecting it might be useful in the future.

He looks at the remainder of the troop and nods toward the door. "Then let's 'ead out through the briars." He takes the lead and heads back across the bridge. On the far side he examines how the bridge is held. He wonders if it would be possible to loosen the ropes on one side so that the bridge doesn't fall but might tip to the side if anyone puts their weight on it to pursue them.

Not sure which skill counts. Would Profession (trapper) +4 make a difference?

Turning to the goblin, "So where are they, gobber? We walks to the northern door behind him. "What's be'ind this door? And those two?, he demands pointing at the two doors in the western wall.

Upset that the goblin is proving to be stubborn about replying, Blue walks over to him, kicks the goblin's weapon away and slaps the goblin hard across its smug, green face.

"Speak up, you miserable piece of shite! I asked you two questions! Answer me before I really lose my temper."

"Two questions for you. There is a 'uman among you. Where is it? And number two: where did your chief keep his 'oard?"

If the Goblin doesn't understand Common, or feigns that he doesn't, Blue repeats himself in Goblin.

I appreciate that. I didn't mean to imply that Blue's shot hit the target, only that he sent it directly where he was firing it, and that was why it felt successful. Any number of factors Blue can't control could have prevented it from actually touching the warchanter. However, I'll try to avoid or delay comment on actions until the result has been announced.

The successful shot lifts Blue's mood temporarily, allowing him to smile at the Vanea's comment and retort, Be careful what you wish for, Red. I shoot broadheads with a weighted tip. And I have quite a draw.

Through the narrow view Blue has into the throne room he sees numerous goblins and goblin dogs. He steps five feet to the northwest and nocks an arrow to his bow, shouting over his shoulder in

"We've found 'em! Call in the reinforcements! The green-skins 'ave twenty seconds to give up!"

He holds a readied action to fire at the first goblin that approaches Eloviel or Rohan in his field of vision.
