Here I was figuring what speeds a warhorse and a keelboat are, and how many hours each travels. If you hustle your horse for the last two hours, you can get 50 miles out of an eight hour travel, inflicting 1 point of damage which the horse heals overnight. This all assumes plains terrain, probably readily available in the Cursed Lands.

A keelboat does like one mile per hour or four with the current but can travel up to 24 hours in a day.

All useless facts now.

Mary feels a pang of emotion upon learning Kaliban wasn't traveling with them. She admired his character.
She would go with him but on foot she'd only slow him down, and Celeste wasn't big enough to ride yet, not for years really.

OOC: Btw, Grickly might care that Mary left behind a dagger, 2 javelins, and some padded armor. Those are worth a handful of gold pieces for some buyer (4gp/5sp is half new value). If he can salvage any worthwhile armor from downstairs, all the better.

Mary boards the boat and looks for the Captain, hoping to get him to have the party's stuff put back aboard.
She blew on a whistle around her neck to indicate "Come." Celeste promptly joined her.
(Since my handle animal w/link is +11 and the DC is 10, I have automatic success.)
Having worn her backpack, and with all her other gear in her animal companion's saddlebags, she herself was covered.

When Mary gets there she checks both for traps. Perception 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 and 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24.

I checked, you were right. While our characters may not know it, every dose of spider venom sells for half of 150 gp, maybe more for the big one.

Ok, we have six critters to harvest poison from, so we have room to screw up. Does a Healing Kit have surgical tools? I know at least one party member is toting one.

Maybe for each we can have Dawn attempt Survival with a few (three?) folks Aiding another? I'm guessing the DC is 16 to 18, but you can't take 10 where poison is involved.
Of course, I'm assuming no one can beat her Survival of +8. If you have a higher skill score, plz chime in.

I'd opt to sell the Magic Weapon Oil. Base price of 50 gp.

If someone does want to have it, I'd say it counts as a 25 gp share.

Also, who else uses a crossbow? The bolts are only worth 7 sp new, and I could use them.

As I understand it, the bargaining rules also employ Diplomacy, Bluff, and Sense Motive, and can substitute Bluff/Sense Motive for the Appraise. Idk if we have someone good at all three. Maybe a group effort?

A Fort save means no more further damage. It doesn't factor into healing it. It was 1d2 each round until you saved, for each time you were poisoned.
Each failed Fort save gave the poison more time to work/cause Str damage.

Kaliban, idk if you were being in character, but you may recall that ability damage and hit point damage are two different things.

Your "cure" only referred to the end of further Strength damage.

Ability damage heals 1 point per day, 2 if you get long term care.
If the next few nights on the river are uneventful...

Also, I don't think Emma Jane has healed anybody yet.
