Played both at Origins. 2-01 was a blast! Played 2-02 with John Compton as a fellow player, and it was tough sledding for us. Took us several iterations at something before we learned our lesson ...

I have been using PosterRazor as well and recently figured out with a .2" overlap and printing borderless on slightly thicker paper (80lb I think) I can just butt the pieces together and tape. This saves me time when printing multiple AP maps and such.

Played this twice at PaizoCon and enjoyed it each time. The very end was a big surprise - thanks for including the big baddie there! I thought the Navigating the Corridors was straight forward, but I have seen similar dynamics in other scenarios.

This was my second time and I had a blast! Other than finding out I actually was given some SFS games to GM 5 minutes before I was supposed to start GMing, it was flawless. And even that was fun!

I am tentativeyly scheduled to GM this three times this Summer so looking forward to seeing what the final outcome of the GM replays ends up being. That said, I would GM it multiple times regardless of multiple GM credit. There are other ways to get replays if you really want them, and there is a need to GM specials anyway as you pursue your 5th nova.

I guess my crew in the Seattle area may be an outlier. We have played each weekend pretty consistently for over a year, after playing sporadically for six months or so before that. And I have also been running APs every other Wednesday for around 6 months due to player demand. Because we were chewing through the SFS scenarios so fast, we also started running APs every other weekend instead of scenarios for the past 6 months or so. Because of this, my group of regulars (7 including myself) have a wide range of characters, including a couple higher levels each. On top of our local play, we also have several local Cons in the Seattle-Portland area (Shout out to Arc Riley in Portland for being such an awesome organizer who gets my vote as PNW Starfinder Venture Captain!) which gets us even more table time. Maybe we are too crazy for this Starfinder game - but we only really play a couple times a week at most. I am also pretty confident there is a similar group of folks in Portland as well. Its a great game, so I find it hard to believe that there are not other pockets of Starfinder regulars out there looking for some higher level content. All that said, I am happy enough to build new characters with lower tier content as well - I would just like to play my higher level characters more than once or twice a year.

I fully understand - a lot of us here are outliers with having multiple higher level characters (I will have a 12, an 11, and a 9 by Gen Con). That said, I heard from a friend that you are more likely to get higher tier content if you ask for it . . .

Well unfortunately it looks like I will be GMing the special so won't be able to play it at GEN CON. I am also tentatively going to GM it at another Con before that, so I will probably have to wait until a later Con in the Summer to actually play it. Right now I still have a level 10 and two level 9s, but I think I will have a 12 by August - not sure I will get one of the 9s to 11 by then though. I am playing in two APs and GMing another now so it all depends on the timing. Unless I can find another 7-10 scenario somewhere ...

I am currently playing in two APs, GMing one AP, and regularly play and GM Society scenarios. I love the depth and scale of the stories in the APs. Even though different authors write each book, they still form a coherent story line and this is reflected in greater development, interaction, and coordination of the player parties. While the folks I GM and play scenarios with are frequently the same, the lack of continuity between subsequent scenarios often leaves me wishing for more of an AP-like experience. Now we do see repeat NPCs and extended story lines, but it generally doesn't feel all that connected. Maybe the nature of society play prevents this sort of connectivity. Maybe the relative newness of the game and quick consumption of scenarios prevents stringing together related ones. I don't have a great answer, but this is something that I have been thinking about lately - normally as I switch between AP characters in campaign mode and my society characters in scenarios. Anyone else feel like this? Anyway, I think it would be cool say if a 1-4 and 3-6 or a 3-6 and 5-8 were released in the same month, and the first scenario story was continued in the second one. Or maybe if the 3-6s being released in 2 or 3 subsequent months all tied to one story line and the 1-4s all tied to another. This sort of thing would require quite a bit of coordination amongst the developers, but I think it lead to more satisfying society play. Kind of like how comic book stories continue between sequential issues. As it is, I have two characters leveling out of society play (for now) and it's as if I really don't know them anymore since I am constantly switching back and forth between various characters for various scenarios. In contrast I feel so much more connected with my AP characters and the parties I play/GM with. Thoughts?

Hopefully numbat can get you squared away with NWPFS.org. It's a little wonky how they have it set up in order to prevent spam bots from registering, but since she hangs with the admin I am sure something will get resolved for you. That said, I have a regular crew playing on the Eastside (normally at Uncles Redmond but at Zulus in Bothell through December)on Sundays. We are right at enough regulars to run 1.5 tables (1 or 2 tables generally), and could use more folks to regularly get 2 tables going. Anyway I was in your shoes last year trying to get Starfinder Society games going, starting from scratch. Luckily I ran into some other really great folks who wanted to play and we now have a pretty tight crew playing once or twice a week. It takes time though. Shoot me a PM if you want more info or still need help getting things going where you are at.

"While I don't want to spoil too much about this scenario, let's just say that it sets the stage for our remaining Season 1 scenarios and sets us on a path for a climactic event in our eventual closing interactive special for Starfinder Society's inaugural season." We'll see about working in the new classes into the weekly games I GM - I know the players are pretty excited! I am super happy that testing can be done in society play as well!
