Yup; when we present an elite or weak monster, we cite the page numbers for those adjustments (pages 6 or 7, depending) and then the monster page itself. It might be better to reverse those directions (monster page first, elite/weak page second); something I've been considering, since folks have been stumbling over this and looking for the sixth or seventh monster book since we first decided to put those rules in the front of the book back at the start of 2nd edition.
The fact that the page number references aren't italicized is meant to indicate that they're not a part of the book title, of course, but noticing a 6 or a 7 is italicized isn't always apparent, obviously.
Gotcha
Maybe have a system for Monster Core reference at the front of AP books.
Maybe have p85 Pathfinder Monster Core [p6], with explanation at the start.
But now I know, I'm cool . Loving the new shiny hardback format!
Hope you manage to get your books back from Diamond & get the legal rights back to do a new distribution deal to the UK.
