Male Human Witch 5
Back near the body....
@Jirani
Barnabus thinks deeply, that his summons before could be viewed with equal suspicion, he had just warned of monsters in their midst and disease infested bites....
Male Human Witch 5
Barnabus enjoys the walk watching his companions about their normal routines. Lothar moving with lithe agility created by mastery of himself and Rhasha who moved as one with nature creating a path that mirrored Lothar.... Jirani walked with purpose like the ungiving stone that makes a path through whatever is before it.... Barnabus walked the magic of hexes crying for release the power of magic contained in his vessel. "We have found her!" Barnabus takes flight towards the figure...

Barnabus finishes cleaning up and presents the mop back to Dyfrig.
Barnabus kneels in front of Dyfrig the mop across his open palms... "Do you swear to uphold the land and swear fealty to wield this mop against all enemies both foreign and domestic that our kingdom shall face?" "Wield this weapon as the griffon with wisdom, Sir Dyfrig!" Leaving the tent Barnabus sees the others as dinner has ended and soon night must fall into darkness, he decides to check the perimeter defenses and check upon the men there....
At the guard fires..... "Ho hearty an brave men, I ave come tah see if any signs o trouble err wounds err afflictions weaken err trouble yer number."
Male Human Witch 5
Barnabus eventually acts as if nothing at all had happened.... He lays out pieces of string......and lays them such that cross repeatedly over each other.. He points at each place where one string touches another... "Imagine each is a decision and each a choice once made you can follow only one string, the others are lost, the options faded away in a moment o time. Imagine the man trained long and hard not to be caught unawares, did you see a man unsurprised by tha goblin dogs? I did, Lothar remained ready, yet tha others did not. Be then as Lothar always ready." Loud enough for everyone to hear....
Male Human Witch 5
"Aye! But tha running o tha rats ken become tha first tradition o tha kingdom!" Barnabus cackles loudly... "Rats o tha normal sort are more a danger as Harbinger's o plague, in tha mess tent tha cooks will never forget this lesson. Look deeper into mah actions an you will see much."
Male Human Witch 5
"Animals only? Or do you not know?....." Barnabus considers her and decides he can aid her.... Casts summon monster 3.....
Goblin dogs... "Observe and learn, Nancy." The creatures appear feral with the stench of overgrown sewer rats, with red beady eyes and sharp teeth, Barnabus has them rampage through the tent around the edges and under the tables....though they attack no one. "These err goblin dogs, bred fer war an tha horses o goblin raiders, swift deadly carrying verulent pestilence in their bite an upon thar skin." Barnabus bring the rats to a halt inches in front on Nancy to gauge her reaction.....
Male Human Witch 5
Barnabus takes an interest in the girl Nancy who seem to have an affinity to animals....
board wasn't showing these new posts..... The driving rain and cold felt to Barnabus like a loss of his mortality and a becoming one with the divine, he let the horses be taken away, a bit later he went to borrow the girl named Nancy from her home....
Barnabus arrives a bit later to the feast, having walked the horses to the stable first.... He ate in silence and watched the girl, headstrong and not afraid of the storm or armed persons....
Barnabus liked watching Lothar do his thing and instruct his student. Barnabus brought Nancy to watch as well hoping to help the girl discover her path. He suspected that such a girl might fit under Rhashas woodlore....
Male Human Witch 5
"Tha an a witches brew an I will be set for tha evenin, well a spot in front o tha hearth." The witch likes the pelting of the rain and storms he soaks it in as if it is divine inspiration and to see what he can learn from the experience. Pats his mount, "I fear tah speak to tha horses, fer I am certain they too are ready fer tha dry straw o stables."
