Unless somebody else wants to (Vecro maybe?) I am fine taking point and probably the opposing fire. The ONLY thing I ask...somebody Else plans out Jagrur's move...I can't, as I know the scenario...but if somebody plans out how you want him to move, Jagrur and Dross will move that way. I do not want to do any meta here.

Agreeing with Spike. It was a fun game. This scenario is always slightly different in how each GM portrays the ambassador, and GM Gustavef did definitely took this one in a different spin than I did (or have seen done) :-) Thanks again GM Gustavef and all the players. I hope to see you all at other pbp tables. I did sign up for a few of the PBP gameday coming up in a month (current limit is 3). Once they open it to as many as you can conceivably do I might want to jump into 1-2 more if people want to find ones to play in together.

"Aye, one of those gobbo's used that little toothpick to prick me under the ribs, don't worry about it though, was just a light scratch. Tis amazing that he was able to even do so, as this armor was designed to stop those kind of attacks. Must have been a lucky hit."

After dropping the 2 unconscious--though probably dead--goblins, Baragh shrugs, picks up one of the goblin dogslicer and walks back to the ambassador. "Gobbo's are not known for their scruples. Who knows, they might have been paid to possibly put a hit out on you for a few computer scraps. Pesky things, often times more a pest than rats or corridor cockroaches. I do agree with Flameclaw, we better get you back to the Lorespire Complex so you can meet with Chiskisk. Things are getting just a little to exciting for me to feel safe with you out here. Also, here,"Baragh says, as he holds out the dogslicer,"a little gift to show that your importance here was noted by others."

GM, please roll a percentile for that critical hit you did on me...I have fortification from Armor mastery. As the gobbo's knife finds a small chink in his armor, Baragh just smiles at the goblin. "Ye like poking things at people don't ya, squirt. Lets see how you like this." Full round action: Full attack Punch attack on Green with get em (KAC): 1d20 + 8 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 8 - 4 + 1 = 15 to hit!
Punch attack on Yellow (KAC): 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (13) + 8 - 4 = 17 to hit!
Booyah! I think that will hit both. With that...for flavor's sake.... Baragh grabs the green gobbo by its neck with one hand, and the yellow gobbo neck with his other, and slams both of them together, letting them go afterwards to likely fall on the floor in a heap. Clapping his hands together to get the stink of goblin off of them, Baragh just grins wildly, and looks aroung. "Who wants to continue to have fun?!"

Baragh looks at the group, and picks up three of the packages, storing two into his backpack, and hefting the last one up in left hand. Grinning a little evilly at his allies, then at Tradock. Baragh quips lightly to the ambassador, "I see why ye asked for a dwarf to accompany you. The rest of these wusses would be complaining on how heavy this all is. Me, I just shrug my shoulders to get the pack more comfortable and just plod on." Not a whole lot in my Industrial backpack, so I figure 2 bulk can fit, if you feel 3 can, I will pick up another package, so that the 'prima ballerinas (as Croaker said) can not strain themselves.

Realizing he doesn't have a comp unit with him, Baragh mentions to the group, [b]"Hey, can't one of you tech type people just go onto Galoogle and do a quick 'net search on finding places to buy pet stuff?"[b/] I so have trained my IRL group on if they want to know something, they can sometimes just use a computer and do a quick DC10 computers skill check to search the web to 'recall knowledge'. Baragh heads out, taking a last chug of the habernero beer. "Remind me that I should send more dwarves here...the food is decent, though only the beer had any real zest to it." Looking to Jatembe park, and seeing the squox, Baragh has to admit that this station has almost everything a real world has, and more than where he came from. Scowling at the lashunta chef, and seeing that his friends are all being so intimidating, Baragh seems to want to be the voice of calm. "Silly man, you have served other nuars before, but not one from his colony. They have been separate from the rest of their race for a long time, so he likely has not ever been exposed to that kind of meat before. Interesting side RP at the table when running this ambassador....anybody else notice Tradok Pronoun section has he/him, though the blurb at the end uses 'she' and 'her'. One person at my table (who is very good at being sensitive when dealing with all the LGBTQ+ pronouns IRL and in games) asked Chiskisk a question, on if this the pronoun usage in the dossier was correct or not. I just had Chiskisk go with the fact that that Tradok was trans, while genetically a she, he preferred the male pronoun, and Chiskisk didn't exactly get it's dossier updated correctly when typing that last bit.

Sorry for no post yesterday, I was already scheduled to run 2 IRL games of Starfinder, so my whole day was basically that. I should be good for 1-3 posts a day mostly from now on (okay, except for 4th of July weekend, as there is a local con going on then). Hearing Croaker mention the sniper's alley and the corpse, Baragh nods, "Aye, ye are talking about the mission with Vecro, and the corpse's name was dubbed Civ, as he was so full of holes he was almost a sieve by the time we were done. I prayed to Iomedae to take his soul when it got to the Boneyard, and that he wouldn't hold it against me for using his body as a shield." Baragh nods politely as Chiskisk comes in. As he listens to the briefing, Baragh's jaw doesn't exactly fall to the floor, but it was close. As Chiskisk hands out the dossier and finished the briefing, Baragh finally remarks, "What? Babysitting a diplomat in Absolam Station....and here I thought with all this muscle and guns around this table, we were going to be sent out to storm the gates of Apostae itself!" Culture: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 As he reads the dossier, and compares it to what little he knows about nuar, Baragh chuckles lightly, "Though, a babysitting job does sound much easier than all I have been sent out lately to do....I just now got the sand and radiation out of my armor from the last mission. I think I can handle a milk run like this."

A dwarf walks in, though walking is probably not the right term...maybe stomps, or even barrels in would be better. If the automatic door didn't open as you got close to it, you would think he would just walk through the door. He is wearing very nice heavy armor with the symbol of Iomedae on the chest, a symbol of the hammer on the left gauntlet and the symbol of the anvil on the right gauntlet. Obvious weapons include a decently large sword and a reaction cannon on his back. "Right. Names Baragh Dented Helm. From Salvation's End. Been here since you all helped us out of our little situation. I am a priest of Torag, though since he seems have been lost somehow, Iomedae has allowed me to worship her in his absence, and I worship her faithfully, with the understanding I am here to look for my lost god." Looking around he sees decently large and imposing people, "And right...seems me da's teaching is going to be needed again. I can tell by the cut of these people's jib's that this is not going to be a hoity toity mission...probably something to do with snipers, explosions and multiple waves of baddies. Just my kind of mission!" With that he takes out a flask of...something...and takes a good hit of it. "I am good at bein' in the front, taking the hits. Me da taught me that...said 'son, we are meant to hit and get hit', so that is my motto. I like scrapping it out...and big green", looking at Gargalus, "...if you want to punch people, sometime we should spar. Been looking for a good sparring partner." With that he smiles and offers Gargalus the flask.

He is pretty rockstar, and uses a big game hunting rifle (well, a dual tactical acid dart rifle...but still). Acts of Association is fun, so is Dreaming of the Future. I might know a GM who can run one or both of those online, if he is available. Vecro, he is the one that ran Croaker and Kitkul in 1-12. He might not be immediately available...I think he is making a trip to his parents this weekend and next week.

A lot of my low tier characters have Ashes of Discovery (1-12) mainly because I have GMed it a lot. I am fine with playing it with one of my few characters who haven't. Especially with this great group :-) Tsultro is my level 3 Half-orc Intimomat (Take Diplomat -Dipl +Itim of Intimidate). He is good at intimidating (decent at diplomacy). Also an Envoy (but not the healy feely type). Baurquathus is my Pathra Rockstar Operative (Icon Operative (Spy specialization). Decent at a lot of things. I think he is level 2 also, only 1 real game on him. I also have 2 characters who have no "form" yet. Both with I believe a chronicle sheet on them (One is Skitter shot, the other is either Commencement or Acts of Association).

Vecro, As I mentioned Baragh is mainly meant for IRL, but I can always use him in a pbp. He is now level 3 though, so with your level 1 it might be better for me to use one of my lvl 2's. Baurquathus (Pathra Operative 2) or one of the 2 other GM Babies I have (I can make about anything with them, though leaning toward another mystic or another mechanic....the mechanic would likely be a skittermander.....shudder). I can probably replay one scenario with a nova if you really find one you want to group up with.

Vecro, Weirdly in this scenario a dice roll was needed and nothing else(I haven't read/ran all scenarios, or even most), usually getting a race boon in the scenarios I have ran was usually something like 'did the party do X non-violently and Y successfully' or 'did the PC's vote for this', not a 'roll this DC roll or else cross off the boon'. Besides...most of us rolled bad--even if Mute has assisted, we probably were short (no pun intended--well not much of one). Too bad you didn't have a reroll, or too bad that I didn't have Baragh be primary (which would make no sense, he knows he isn't a diplomat). Luck (and unluck) of the dice and all. I would probably have to put that down as one of the negatives for the scenario writer/editor. Might be something that I mention in a review when I type one up. I will have to look at this scenario in the next few weeks when I run it for my secret society groups, so I will at least get to see how Revvy made the sausage then ;-) Revvy, had a lot of fun. Especially the whole Sniper's alley. BTW that is going to SUCK running IRL. I am going to find a Chromecast or something to put this on Roll20, or something. I am NOT going to have a Mondomat made up for this fight :-) All, I had lots of fun with this scenario. Hopefully we can find more virtual tables to play at. Baragh will likely be one of those I shelf as a non-pbp character though, I have way to much acting him out IRL. But I have 2-3 characters that are near 100% pbp (or GM babies, or both). Hope to catch you around a virtual table sometime.

When they do get back to the camp, Baragh will make sure to carefully bring the dead guards to the 'morgue' and will silently give each a prayer to Iomedae and Pharasma to see their spirits to the boneyard, and not to be called back as mockeries in undeath. When heading back to the shuttle, Baragh nods to Vecro, "Agreed brother....I think I would rather take a goblin spaceship back than that coffin. I know that at least the goblins work on their stuff...might be bat-feces crazy work, but still safer than that bucket of nuts--no bolts in that shuttle."

I might not be able to get on to check for about 12 hours (busy day today at work, so I will just roll my assist now). Baragh will just mostly glower and basically 'ask' that Fayetta keep her clan in line if they want to stay hidden', and if they can do that, we will ask our leaders to attempt to help them as much as they can.
edit: Wow....I assisted.....wow.

I think that sounds like the plan, and Baragh is fine with it.

Baragh wouldn't think on calling Taylehm to just tell her that it is done, and to take their word on that it was feral beasts and they were put down. But if somebody else does that and then tells Baragh that, Baragh would be fine with turning over Mengian over to Fayetta. He is just worried that the Bone Sages would find it too much a cover up if something physical wasn't shown.

Baragh listens to Mec-01 and the rest, nodding not so much in agreement, but showing he is truly listening. "I see where ye are all coming, and wanting to go. And for the short term it is a good thing. However, long term it could hurt the Society more than it could help. I don't know if raping and killing the planet is the best thing to back, but honestly, I am not certain how much of the planet is still 'alive', so doing more mining might as well be done. However, not giving the Bone Sages at least 'something' to show that our representative is doing their job could hurt us having this dig site. Mengian should go to Taylehm--either dead or alive--so our representative has 'somebody' that did the sabotage. The other henchpeople should go to Fayetta to see if they can be brought back under her factions wing. I do like the idea for the Society to work with the Sarcacians, but we would be burning our bridges if we don't do something to show that the Society can keep the site from being attacked. But I will go along with whatever the majority wishes, but please lets at least come up with a plausible reason for the deaths of the Civ and the guards, and the other related destruction to have Taylehm tell the Bone Sages." As mentioned, the vote is the majority, so it is basically going to be giving back to the Sarcacians all the rogue faction. Baragh has no problem with the mooks going back, he does want to find out why the Wings of Damiar are here after all. It is just he sees that if someone physical isn't given to the bone sages, they will see us as ineffectual, or even that the Society was doing something clandestine. But since people are pushing for that, he will probably at the end just nod his agreement and let them do as the will. With his views expressed, he nods to his allies, and knowing that he is not the most diplomatic indvidual, decides to go back to make sure Civ and the other guards get loaded up so that they can be returned for their final rites (or are they...this is Eox afterall).

Looking down at the ripped armor, where he notices for the first time the cuts and aches of battle, Baragh heaves a sigh of relief. He hadn't yet went to see Iomedae to continue his journey looking for Torag on the other planes. Baragh goes over to the red rosey stone, and slowly sinks onto one of the smaller ledges to sit and take a bit of a rest. Looking over at his companions and back towards their foes, "I am wondering how much you all trust Fayetta. I didn't sense any falsehoods from her." Pulling out one of the serums of healing he got earlier from the other snipers, he uses it while continuing his thoughts. "Because of that I wouldn't care either way to see these four dead, handed to Taylehm so she can present them to the bone Sages, or to even hand them over to Fayetta. I do think however, that it would be better if we were able to give something to each side. Maybe the three hench-persons should go--alive--to Fayetta, so that she can hopefully fix their error in their ways. Maybe hand Mengian to Taylehm so that she can show the bone sages that he was the person behind the disruption of the dig site. Sending Mengian to them alive or dead likely won't matter, as I am certain that the bone sages would just reanimate him to find out information from him." Serum of healing mk1: 1d8 ⇒ 6

Baragh sees the creature fleeing, and while he understands it need to flee, he is very irritated, as it seems to be able to move quite quickly. With that he looks at the other Sarcasian and sees what he thinks is a safe way to move around it. With that he backs up, and draws his reaction cannon off his back and aims at the fleeing one. "Oh no there coward, no fleeing from me," Baragh growls and shoots. Reaction Cannon KAC (in 1st range increment): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 to hit
My post went just after Mutes, and if his did drop Blue, Baragh would just shoot red instead

GM, where were our day jobs? I don't think it was on the google excel file where we signed up...and I don't see it in the discussion page here. I can roll a day job for you if I am right and I didn't do one already.

Baragh says, "Don't worry lil' buddy. If it is the day I go see Iomedae it will mean I can search for Torag in other ways. I am not afraid of death." With that, he realizes he should probably block more, so he fights as defensive as his ol' da taught him to. Hammer Fist into the creatures kneecap: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 6 - 4 = 17
Standard action to fight defensively. (You can fight defensively when attacking as part of a standard action. If you do, you take a –4 penalty to attacks you make in that round but gain a +2 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn.) Move Action to guarded step back. "That it big dumb idiot...lets do a ring around this rosy...."
