Axel groans and slaps his forehead, as he turns to the others

"Lucian, use the radar, ping those ships if you have to, sensors wont do anything! We need active radar quickly!"

While he's saying this he turns the ship in the direction of the derelict
"We have a third party joining the fray, if it truly was our quarry firing, we would be seeing much less of our contenders, capital ship weaponry would blast them out of the sky without so much as a sweat. Start scanning the air waves for distress calls or the like, i think we may need to go help out our rivals, as it stands, id rather have a rival owe us, than trying to fight a powerful enemy"

"In that case we best be on our guard. Perhaps swing in from the other side while all involved are distracted. This ship isn't exactly built for prolonged skirmishes. Never mind open conflict." Axel is ready to adhere to navigation change, as he keeps his eyes infront

"Correct you are Mr. Crawford" he chuckled as he continues his approach to the vessel

"Today we put our little group through the fire"

Axel kept his approach and made sure to focus on making sure they get there as soon as they can. His mind already slowly turning to what may happen once they start the second part of their mission

"The mercs i think is the worst, the actors we simply target their engines and leave them dead in the water" Axel offers from his position

He nods as he begins to tense up. Focusing on the screens

"Do we know if they are hostile? Or even on an interception course? Just in case. Make sure the guns are ready. Once the fight starts I will be too focused on flying this bucket of bolts to be able to direct us"

With that he starts to increase the speed of the vessel, he didn't want to speed up only when the shooting starts. Best be prepared beforehand

Axel now again at the helm, waits for the correction and the new path to be locked in,

"Let's do this boys and girls, off to see how much of a salvage this find actually is worth" as he steers the ship to its new destination

As he asks this, Axel walks in from the bridge's direction. Calmly taking a seat and taking a deep breath

"Well, the ship is flying steady. No need for any crazy maneuvers at the moment."

He then looks over to Rion "I believe with any ship that's similar to the one we have we can hopefully start a type of special travel accommodation. Not just VIP but we can add in protection services along with it. We could potentially transport very high class people that will be willing to pay quite well for such escorts"

I'd say half a day

Axel nods as each station gives their okay
"Set a course closest to the objective, once there report we are deviating. Then we will approach our quarry to start preliminary scans to verify its name"
Once it's been done he takes the ship out and on its way

"We need to get to the potential salvage ship. As our navigator has plotted the course. I do not have any need to alter it." he nods at Rion then at Lucian

He nods from his sea "We need to check comms, just to make sure there s no emergency broadcast, sensors to make sure our path is clear for the voyage and we dont have unwanted guests when we arrive" he advises, but obviously any other ideas from his companions would be welcome, this isnt a military operation after all

GMT, should I make the pilot roll now to get us out of dock or are there more things that needs to happen first?

Not enough players to take all the roles. I won't mind taking pilot and captain. But I will be the pilot

"We seem to be the only ones still docked, this is either good or bad, either way, we should get ready to depart." he looks at those around him to make sure everyone is ready for this trip

"Sensors? Navigator? We seem to have an unknown ship, just in case, be prepared for an attack, with such a big bounty, we will sure to have people that will want to take advantage of it" the former admiral barks out as he keeps his eyes on the front, ready to get the ship into evasive maneuvers if needed

At the ship, Axel was already prepping for them to get going. He looks over as the last file in

"I take it you have all the details for our destination?"

Axel looks at the rest of those around him, he gives a nod to confirm his interest. Though he did not have a say for the rest. That was up to them. But he was more than eager to get off this rock and explore. And being paid to do so was even better

"Then perhaps we should discuss the details with less ears close by to listen, shall we? Perhaps on our ship?" Axel offers as he points to the exit

Seeing and hearing that they may have had the privilege of unwanted attention he moves so that Mr. Braun can have a seat close by. He himself was not in a good position to see what was going on, but he counted on the observations of those around him

"Welcome. And be our guest for a while."

"I think we get a last drink and perhaps something for the ride, and we go to our bucket of bolts. Been sitting here long enough" he raises his glass to the rest

"Adventure awaits!"

Axel chuckles as he points to an open seat "Welcome, welcome, Jagger i assume?" as he calls over someone to get the young lad a drink

"Yes, administration can be very frustrating"

"Someone willing to learn I can agree with. So I don't mind. But since we are waiting, may as well get down to business." He puts down his drink and looks to each member around the table they were at

"Through all our years of service we have accumulated some influence and favours. Here we are, retired and twiddling our thumbs. I say we pool our resources and put a down payment on a ship. Now, I know Rion and myself have talked quite a bit, and we believe a Yacht class would be best suited for all of us. Not just the design, but we can make quite a bit of money with the services it can provide"

Axel takes another sip after he eats some of the starters presented to them. At least the faces seem familiar. He remembers Lucian well, poor guy was in quite the state when he found him. Glad he's still around and kicking. Perhaps later he'll hear what he's been up to since the rescue

He clears his throat
"So it seems we have quite the group gathering soon. I heard one of you suggested some young blood to join. Anyone care to fill me in on this person? Some prior knowledge would be good for when he does show up"

So looking through those. I'll be happy with whatever the group takes and I'll decide what to take from there. And obviously after everyone has requested what they want from said package

so any of these i can take will technically be an increase

that makes me a mix between Val/Wash

darn, okay, seems i will be down one of my pilot skills to just 1 and not 2 :P other skill then i guess

side note, im tempted to create his asteroid with the code too

from the above, i think Traveller or Explorer would be best bet
