Grand Lodge

I have several players in my group interested in this deck.

Grand Lodge

I picked this card up at my flgs and luckily it was the last GTM issue they had. We haven't used it with in our OP games yet. I am leaving it up to my group when we will add this one in, but it is a nice card.

Grand Lodge

My group only faced two of the three villains as we had some horrible rolls while trying to close two locations. We didn't try to game the system, but I think at the end we felt we had. We did have to churn through those locations, but we really didn't have much of an issue doing this and we had plenty of time left once the scenario did come to an end.

Grand Lodge

So in playing this past weekend, we have several people who replayed some scenarios and we noticed this inconsistency in the Guide and we didn't see any posts on it in regards to tier feats:

Tier Feats: A character gains feats on his character card
through the successful completion of scenarios. These
scenarios can be from any season or adventure that is legal
for the character to play. A character gains one skill feat after
successfully completing one scenario, one power feat after
successfully completing two scenarios, and one card feat
after successfully completing four scenarios. Completing
the same scenario multiple times does not count as progress
towards these tier feats. You can gain only one feat of each
type in each tier, unless instructed otherwise.

(From page 6 of the guide)

replaying scenarios
You may replay any Adventure Card Guild scenario
as many times as you like, as long as you are of the
appropriate tier (see “New Advancement System: Tiers”
above.) Your character may only gain the reward from
a given scenario, adventure, or adventure path once.
However, you may upgrade your deck each time you
complete the scenario, and completing the same scenario
multiple times counts toward your feat advancement.

(Page 9 of the guide)

Was this discussed someplace else and we are just missing it? We weren't sure which one was correct, but I made a quick house rule that the first paragraph from page 6 sounded more like what Paizo was going for here.

Grand Lodge

Hello,

I received my order a few days ago and noticed I didn't receive a promo card. I finally hit the forums here today and noticed that this appears to have happened to several others. If this could please be added to my next shipment it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!!

I love seeing spoilers like this. Some of the new ideas/mechanics coming out for the game just look like things are going to get nothing but better. Can't wait to incorporate these into our gaming sessions.

I was under the impression when the lower cards were removed from the base set you could do that as well to your class deck. If that isn't how this works I'm glad my group is behind and we haven't reached this point yet.

The play mat for sure is one of the best. After seeing the cards that come with the miniatures, those are now a definite must have and on my list to get.

My wife also just got me a really nice dice tray that I am going to start bringing to our sessions for organize play so the dice aren't rolling around all over the cards.

I've played this scenario twice now, one with just two of us and we succeeded rather easily. Then this past weekend we had five of us, and we were far from successful. We are going to try again as a group and see if we can get everyone in our group the reward, but I have a feeling it's going to be pretty tricky to accomplish.

Wow, the cards and the figures both look great. Can't wait to add this to my game. I'm really interested to see more of this new "mechanic" as well, it sounds pretty fun.
