Yeah, the one that said 4 raised the water level 4 feet, so... Try the one that says 6? Then 20? The hardest part is going to be the Swim checks but at least we're not surprised so we can hold our breath now. Seems like a good time for any Guidances.

Yeah, I used a smite back in the first fight so I'm conserving for the possibility of an evil BBEG.
I think this fight is hard but I think this group has always pushed for high tier stuff - though it might be biting us here. Lord knows Aurus just died last scenario, I wouldn't say we're at "black ops tactical finesse."

I think the crux of the argument is the line in Taking A 5-foot Step: "You can only take a 5-foot-step if your movement isn’t hampered by difficult terrain or darkness."
Grease doesn't call itself out as "difficult terrain" but difficult terrain also isn't fleshed out very well in the CRB, so it's open to GM decision, and I'm fine with the idea that if they pass the Acro check, they're not hampered and can move freely - including 5-footing.
