I'm withdrawing my application with Ars, he's been called in on another game. Have fun, y'all!

I'd like to apply with Ars Drayer, a former farmer turned gunslinging paladin, with a solid work ethic and a heart of gold. details in my profile. I need to read up on the mythic paths, I'm not deadset on any path.

I'm afraid I'm going to bow out of this game. It's been a month since my last turn and I'm looking for a much more active game than this.

Is this thing on?

Ars sees the last goblin take off, and chases him as he loads his pistol. Seeing the angry goblin with an axe heading towards Dagnie, he yells "Miss! Watch out! Goblin heading right for you!"

move action to O9, reload pistol. 3/3 grit remaining due to killing blow last action.

DM Kyle - How would you like me to track gunslinging resources? I can keep a running tally of rounds expended and then craft more during downtime. With grit points, my pool is 3. When I use grit abilities, should I ooc my current grit in the post? I regain one grit when striking the killing blow on an enemy, so I can track that in the next combat post. Let me know you have any preferences.

Raorloud - I'm not gonna be a dick and shoot at you for no reason... but please think of how you're gonna convince me to stand down. Ars isn't a crusading straight-edge PURGE THE HERETIC paladin but you are a goblin...

Deadeye guide my aim! Cheers Ars silently as his target falls limp. Two gobs left. One has a sword, the other... a beef shank? Well, I know what's the greater threat.

Ars thumbs the loading toggle on his pistol, breech opening with a well-oiled snick and lazy strands of black powder smoke. Flipping the old round out and jamming a new cartridge in, Ars snaps the pistol back in battery and shoots at the goblin with the dog-slicer.

Ars regains a grit point for striking the killing blow on a goblin. reload with alchemical paper cartridge as move action, standard action shot at goblin 3. +1 attack/damage from inspire courage. Free action to spend a grit point to gain charisma bonus to damage for one round. Grit point total 2/3

ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Ars rushes around the tent, seeking a clear shot at the goblins.

Two of them are fightin' amongst themselves. I'll shoot the odd one out and figger those two out after

Drawing a bead on the goblin next to the cart, Ars squeezes the trigger. The sharp report of his pistol barks in a puff of acrid gun-smoke.

Swift action to spend a grit point on Focused Aim deed, gaining charisma bonus to damage for one round. move action to square J6, standard action pistol shot at goblin in I8
ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Yeah I get that you're not being a dick. Every DM has their style, and I'm used to playing with dms that want you to plan moves in advance, with conditional statements like "if the first goblin is dead, I attack the third one". Ain't no thang :)

I'll take the action I posted earlier, ending in square N7 with gun drawn

I'm gonna be doing stuff till tomorrow morning so I'm queuing up my actions in advance

"Goblins! Damn! An' that'll be why the wind blew me here, eh?"

Ars jumps up from where he had been lounging, pistol in hand, and moves towards the threat.

move action to stand up, 30 foot move towards the cart. Drawing pistol as a free action as part of the move since I have a +1 BAB

"Mister Foxglove, I'd love to spend a little practice time with ye' some time soon, but fer now I'm ejoyin' meself here at the festival. No need to startle people with gun-fire if'n there ain't something needing shot at. I've been on the road for quite some time now, and I'm soakin' in some rest and beer fer now. I'll be in town for several days, I'll take a lesson from the crack-shot of Magnimar tomorrow or the day after. Beg yer pardon."

Ars settles back down into the chair and takes a pull at his tankard.

This brewer makes a fine small beer, t'be sure. Good lil' town.

Ars returns the gentleman's smile, and intercepts his hand with a firm handshake.

"I reckon I can, goodman. Us servants of Ol' Deadeye learn to use any weapon which come to hand, in defense of hearth and home. Name's Ars. Sworn to Erastil. Yerself?"

Ars Drayer sits sprawled in a comfortable chair set up near the stand of a food vendor, resting thickly-soled and well-worn boots on a footstool. He is dressed in studded leather armor with a travel-worn duster thrown back across his shoulders. Around his neck hangs a golden amulet in the shape of a noble elk - a holy symbol of Erastil. In one hand he holds a roast fowl leg, in the other a tankard of small beer. At his side, snug in sheath and holster, rest a battered pistol and equally battered longsword.

Well now, ain't this a cheery little town. Seems like times are good an' getting better, an' the folks in charge have a good head on their shoulders.

No lie though, my feet led me here an' Ol' Deadeye ain't the type for idle wanderin'. I suppose my purpose will show itself afore too long.

I'm also ok with graphic and adult themes, you won't exactly be burning my virgin ears (eyes?). I'm down with your house rules, although I'm not sure how much impact they'll have it's a good concept. I should be up for two posts a day. I work graveyard shift EST, so mornings and evenings will be my usual post times.

"I have no idea who this goblin is or why he's following us around, but by the Stag he can fight, and he seems to want to help us do good deeds"

Updated profile with mythweaver sheet. The herolabs output in my profile will probably be better, though.

Seems t'me the wind's blowin' me right to Sandpoint. I'm honored to be picked, lots of good characters here! *adjusts duster* Whelp, miles to go yet, an' ol' deadeye won't be happy 'till I'm kickin' sandpoint dust off my boots.

Do you need a kindly, middle-aged cowboy paladin with a gun? Because here's a cowboy paladin with a gun. I'll edit his stats into compliance, rolled him up under different criteria.

Here's my submission for your game, MotG! A kindly cowboy paladin with a fierce sense of duty and honor, but down-to-earth and humorous (IE not Lawful Stupid).
