Where actually is the grease area, I cannot see it on the map. I'll take the total defence action and try and move into a flank I guess. Would that take me through Grease and require an Acrobatic's roll or equivalent?

This is really bad... I believe that Battle Dance is a move action action, so I'll activate it and then use my standard to move, so that I can position myself for an attack next turn.

Str 8, Dex 19, Con 12, Int 12, Wis 10, Cha 16 ??? EDIT Oh I see. The stats in my crunch and stat line were all correct, but it appears the Dexterity in the Profile had not been saved correctly from what she was previously, hence your confusion.

Surprise Round: Aria runs up to the undead, preparing for a full attack next turn. Round 1 Aria marks the ghouls as her priority targets as she swings her Scimitar. Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Round 2 Aria attacks again. Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

I did state a couple of posts upward that I would full round move into the room. If I have an opportunty to attack in addition to a normal move, then it is rolled as follows. Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Aria gets to her feet, swaying slightly. Those cannibals at hit her a good deal harder than she had initially expected. Flashing a grateful smile in the direction of Professor Dario Westone, she investigates the crack in the earth.

Aria moves a great deal closer to the fight, the better to get a better sense as to what exactly she is fighting, while adopting the total defence action, until she could enter a position to strike.

Actually I do have one question. Why did you ask is if anyone of us has played The Hellknight's Feast with a separate character? Is this a prequel to it or something?

Just want to say thank you for running this, it was a great scenario and I think ranks up there in terms of my most favorite scenarios played. Thanks for having us =]

Aria clears her throat before responding Here we go... "Our primary mission was to discover the origins of the servant girl that had a scrying sensor attached to her. We spoke to the servant girl, who appeared to be entirely innocent of the entire affair, but told us the name of the slave trader who had sold her away. With the traders name in hand (Mahjub), we headed into his shop, and foiled an unrelated attack on his person carried out by some nasty thugs. Mahjub claimed innocence of the entire affair, but we were able to discover his source for the slave...a source that we discovered was planning on selling a pathfinder into slavery! "After reporting to Lady Darchana, she was able to successfully succeed in granting us a cover identity to infiltrate the ship "At Sea", a ship under the command of Captain Wardak, an Okeno pirate captain, the owner of the pathfinder to be enslaved, and the link between Mahjub, and the slave girl. With great courage and unimaginable skill, we succeeded in capturing the ship, eliminating resistance, freeing the captured slaves (including Rilla here), and successfully taking this creature (assuming Wardak is with us, at this point the point of Aria's shoe makes swift contact with Wardaks ribs) alive, in order for the authorities to gain any further information she might know." Aria pauses for breath, having rattled this off rather quickly, before adding as an afterthought "We also managed to discover Mahjubs client list, so we can know if anyone else might have been exposed to this spy racket. Sadly, Wardak succeeded in burning any incriminating evidence before we could capture her alive, although a scrap of paper bearing the word Muhlia was found, although the term escapes me...perhaps the captain herself can shed some light on it?" In Private to Lady Darchana when the opportunity presents itself: "My Lady, the docking record is destroyed as requested, if you require any further favours from my person, you only have to ask...I will remain your humble servant"

Such a good thing my irl gaming group isn't here, they are all determined that all gnomes are evil, nasty creatures that deserve to be slaughters on sight, perceptions sometimes....its impossible to convince people -_-
Female Aasimar Bard 1 HP: 12/12 | AC: 17 | T: 13 | FF: 14 | CMD: 13 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +6| Will: +2 | Init: +4 | Perc: +4 | Sense Motive: +0
Aria keeps a calm face for the sake of the gnome, but privately worries about the safety of Sahar. "Im sure its nothing, maybe she came back an d is on another assignment, or maybe we are just unfamiliar with her. I can inform the Grand Lodge when I get back, I'm sure they would know best where she is if you two want to catch up."
Female Aasimar Bard 1 HP: 12/12 | AC: 17 | T: 13 | FF: 14 | CMD: 13 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +6| Will: +2 | Init: +4 | Perc: +4 | Sense Motive: +0
Aria finds all of this slightly amusing, but remembers how happy she felt when she was freed, and certainly doesn't begrudge any over enthusiasm, besides, it was very cute. "No, i'm afraid I don't know of a Pathfinder named Sahar...is he (or I guess she) a very dear friend?" she asks, curiously. NB cute as in, "wow that kitten is so cute", rather than, "wow that guy over there is so cute". Felt it was important to distinguish that with Aria's flirty persona.

Fair enough, I'll roleplay it out then With the captain dealt with, the fire out, and the minor crisis avoided, Aria heads back to free the remaining slaves, including the gnome pathfinder. Expecting a flood of noise, Aria quickly holds up her hands, forestalling the tirade. "Congratulations, you are all 'effectively" free. Your will is your own, but my companions and I would deeply appreciate it if you hung around to help the authorities sort out this mess with the captain. Its possible she might have been involved in a larger conspiracy, and you might unconsciously possess some small detail that might help us further". After this request, Aria hesitates slightly, before continuing "I don't know any of your backgrounds, if you were unwillingly forced into slavery I...expect you will be free to return home. I don't know the laws of Abasalom in how they would work in a case like this, but if nothing else, my companions and I will vouch for each and everyones freedom. For those of you that entered into slavery willingly, (Yes, there are people that do this), then I am sure the authorities can find you kind owners (I was going to say honourable slave traders but didn't think that would be very believeable) for you to spend your time with. Now please, I'm sure the crew have food or drink around here somewhere...you are all welcome to share it among yourselves, but after, if you could all group up with us, it will make things go much smoother for everyone" All done =] Diplomacy (If applicable): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Aria shrugs, "I'd rather take her back with us and let someone more skilled in the art of interrogation deal with her, she doubtless knows valuable information about the operation." Aria would potentially free all of the slaves unless there is an issue with that, and then, I don't know, bring them back into Absalom.

Aria ties up the captain with some rope that should be on hand, requesting another PCs aid if its some kind of skill check she would be terrible at, before helping grab a barrel of water and fighting the fire

O.k sorted out my actions. If Aria can freely cast Glitterdust without hitting any of her friends (moving before casting is fine) or provoking an AoO, she will do so. If this is unlikely or ill-advised (since the situation might change since she moves AFTER the captain) she will instead move forward (now that Tori is no longer blocking squares where melee attacks can take place) and will strike out with her Scimitar.. Attack roll just in case: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Oh wow, thats quite a lot of damage this Captain is going to take with that roll + other party attacks.
Female Aasimar Bard 1 HP: 12/12 | AC: 17 | T: 13 | FF: 14 | CMD: 13 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +6| Will: +2 | Init: +4 | Perc: +4 | Sense Motive: +0
I'd try but there is utterly nothing I can do, due to how certain people have positioned themselves. Cannot attack in melee, ranged attacks are out due to multiple aspects of cover, cannot cast spells, cannot buff, not in a position to aid another, social skills are obviously useless in a full on fight etc etc. There just...isn't anything for me to do, short of moving next to Tori which....blocks his way out with a 5 foot step, leaving me still unable to cast a spell.
Female Aasimar Bard 1 HP: 12/12 | AC: 17 | T: 13 | FF: 14 | CMD: 13 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +6| Will: +2 | Init: +4 | Perc: +4 | Sense Motive: +0
If Aria can spray the room that the Captain is in, without affecting Tori, she will unleash her Glitterdust SLA, otherwise she will content herself to sing a Lullaby (with the goal of unleashing a Sleep spell directed at the Captain next turn, unless, I guess, the Captain beats the HD limit.
Female Aasimar Bard 1 HP: 12/12 | AC: 17 | T: 13 | FF: 14 | CMD: 13 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +6| Will: +2 | Init: +4 | Perc: +4 | Sense Motive: +0
"Take a few moments to catch your breath", Aria remarks kindly. "We promise to come back shortly with the keys" She turns to Tori, "I suggest we follow the smell of smoke, we might find a healthy hint there"
Female Aasimar Bard 1 HP: 12/12 | AC: 17 | T: 13 | FF: 14 | CMD: 13 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +6| Will: +2 | Init: +4 | Perc: +4 | Sense Motive: +0
Aria assesses the situation, and decides that its unlikely that the half-elf is friendly, and looks intent on releasing something nasty. Drawing on her magic, Aria draws upon all her charm and attempts to bring it to bear against the Half Elf. Charm Person. At this point, I want to spell out what I'm trying to do. Charm Person makes the person regard you as an ally and friend, while interpreting your words in a favourable manner. I'm hoping that (if successful), this Half Elf views Aria as a friend and ally and doesn't release this dog thing which might put her in danger. If this plan won't work, or if this is a distortion as to how the spell is meant to function, then I'll simply cast Dancing Lights to light up the interior of the cage so that everyone without darkvision can see what's going on. "Darling, I know you are a misunderstood friend, but please, I beseech you, do not do this, I couldn't bear to see you put a trusted friend in danger" Ugh, I might come back and try and reword that Charm after I track down a Mills and Boon book, or maybe Fifty Shades if I get really desperate

Breathing hard, Aria nethertheless tries to focus on the positive: "Well...I think we no longer have the element of surprise", she tries as her foot swings out and kicks the Half Orc in the jaw, obviously unhappy with her fighting skills in the recent encounter. "I think we should best move on before reinforcements come...is that a Cargo hatch?"
