Backstory:

Aria Tamber is a sharp tongued ex-slave, that recently joined the pathfinder society. Picked off the streets and sold as a please slave from a young age was a disturbing experience for Aria, and she resented the loss of her freedom, as well as how helpless she felt, surrounded by powerful men that effectively “owned her”.
While a particularly traumatic time in her life, a time that Aria traditionally doesn’t like to discuss, Aria picked up a variety of useful tricks she now uses as a Pathfinder. Aria learnt how to please, smooth over ill feelings, how to sing and dance, and how to shut down her face, turning it into a mask to hide her dislike over something she might have been called upon to do. Aria honed these skills and found friends as a slave, eventually managing to get the wife of her owner to set her free, playing on the jealousy when the owner spent more time with Aria than his wife. After escaping, Aria joined up with the Pathfinder Society, which gave her an organisation to hide behind (in case her old master attempted to track her down), as well as an excellent way for her to hone the skills she had picked up.

Personality and Appearance:

Aria is an aasimar, with long, dusty gold hair and piercing eyes, that sometimes change colour occasionally. Her skin is very fair, and often glows with a lustre rarely seen. In dress, Aria likes wearing tight fitting clothing, loose enough to maneuver around in, but stylishly practical and usually of fine make. Aria always like to make a solid impression, and finds that the wearing of rich clothes does advance this aim, while granting favour in interactions with high society folks.

Aria is generally bubbly, happy, and likes to consider herself funny or amusing. She hides any fears she might have with an air of confidence or humour, determined not to show weakness. This personality leads Aria to more unorthodox conversations, where someone might consider her “weird”, but its just Aria’s way at attempting to out manauver whoever she is currently having interactions towards. Aria has a deep hatred of slavery, but keeps it well hidden, accepting that it used to be a part of her life, and determined for it to not affect her future. Against slavers, she hides her anger, but isn’t above showing it if it would serve her own interests, or if the time is right.
