"Log.... Wait, who, who was struck by that?!" Argrand struggles to remember who was just there a moment ago as the unbelievable ramifications of Balefire cloud his memory of.... that man.
I just want to make sure at this point that you guys are okay with how I've been playing the Dragon Reborn... ^^; You're playing him? I thought it was Rizzen! Just kidding, thought he was exactly as Rizzen would do it so great job!
Argrand pauses for a second considering what to say next, "My..." The appearance of the Gateway cuts his sentence short.
I'll do Logain.
Argrand nods his head in agreement, "Yes my Lord Dragon, that is one solution. However, having served under Gareth Byrne I think there is yet another path. Somewhere between compromise and tyranny, it is that path that may work best. For if we destroy each other there will be none of us left to defeat the Dark One or his minions... I fear I am a simple soldier and do not know what that path is but it is one that should be discovered and soon". Argrand raises his hand to the pillars of fire, "If we burn all my Lord, what will be left for us even if we save it from teh clutches of the Dark One?"
Argrand follows behind the Dragon, troubled by the developments taking place beneath his feet Argrand speaks. "My Lord Dragon, is this withering around you a new...phenomena?"
Argrand follows the Dragon to the temporary headquarters of the Rebel Aes Sedai and looks around wary for danger hand on the hilt of his blade.
Argrand's eyes go wide as a second gateway is opened. "My Lord Dragon more Asha'man are assembling at the Blacktower, should this first Gateway remain open for their arrival?"
the Black Tower:
"Well gather who is here and come through with me, I am sure the Dragon can bring them to him from Salidar! Hurry up, this is not a drill! Duty calls and we must answer."
Argrand rushes back through the Gateway, 'My Lord Dragon, the Asha'man available will assemble and come through the Gateway to aid you. However, the M'Hael and Logain are both in Salidar with the Rebel Amyrlin..."
The Black Tower: Argrand steps through the gateway and rusehs to the nearest Asha'man, "Where are Logain or the M'hael? I have assisted in rescuing the Dragon and he demands our presence once again against the Aiel, this time, we must not fail!!! The White Tower has fallen and now it is our time to rise."
"I do not wish to anger you my Lord Dragon merely give some advice. With what you experienced your anger may well be overtaking your rationality, it would happen to anyone. In fact, I doubt any but you could have survived such abuse". Argrand winces hoping the Dragon does not lash out at him and continues. "As far as what to do about the Aiel, I believe my companions still have friends buried beneath the White Tower, assuming they survived of course. Do you wish to intervene? Perhaps we will need the assistance of the Black Tower to do so but most paramount is your safety..."

Argrand grimaces at the Dragon's pronouncement, "My Lord Dragon, I am just a recent member to have joined your Asha'man but I will speak my mind regardless... While some Aes Sedai certainly betrayed you, others have come here to assist in rescuing you. Perhaps chaining all of them is not the answer but instead an Oath using the One Power to act against the Dark One in whatever way serves you best? Otherwise, you are no different from those who have so grievously injured you. Is it not the way of the Dark One to enslave others to his will? Though with an army approaching, perhaps a new threat should be focused on before making any decisions at all..."
Argrand turns to Ryvin eyes wide and mouths, Don't push him on that yet... "My Lord Dragon, we are all overjoyed that you are free. I am sure that you had plans in motion prior to the incident... Putting aside the Aes Sedai for now, what is it you need us to assist you with. Besides healing of course as offered by Ryvin. I am uh Argrand by the way..."
Argrand will use a weave to Create Ice blocking off the doorway to at least slow them down, "Keelix, Ryland, you will both need to get the Ogier together he will be too heavy for one of you alone I would imagine". So saying he then picks up the Dragon to carry him through the portal.
Argrand retorts to Ryland, "Back to the Tower? We must bring the Dragon to a safe place man, if he is to fall all will fall. Once we accomplish that we can return.".
Argrand stifles a groan and wipes the dust of the tower from his face he whispers, "My Lord Dragon are you... are you alright?"
Argrand sheathes his blade and grabs the Dragon's legs to assist Keelix with helping him through the portal that Ryvin has created, "Come quickly Analin Sedai!" He hustles through holding the man he has sworn to follow having not even formally met him yet.
Argrand charges at the Dragon and tries to cut the silver braid with his Heron Marked Blade, "Foul magic!" Melee Attack #1

Argrand turns to Analin, "That is the Dragon you hear, come we must help him escape, our own lives be damned!" This time he makes no attempt to bring her with him, before he dies, Argrand will lay eyes on the man he has sworn his life to! He draws his Heroin marked blade and rushes to the sound of the voices.
"No, we need to go one level down, now!"
Argrnd pauses for exactly a split second before he picks up the Aes Sedai and slings her over his shoulder running for the nearest stairwell, "That's enough time, we need to get away from her!"
With line of sight broken, Argrand grabs Analin and pulls her to the closest set of stairs leading down "Hurry Analin Sedai!"
"Well whatever you do don't disintegrate the floor beneath us, that would be catastrophic for us! I am really afraid of falling. Though maybe you should watch out for that creature behind you first!"
A Will saving throw negates the effect, I doubt it will work but worth a try.
"Perhaps if we joining together I can add my power to yours and together we can defeat her Analin Sedai? I sense my blade will do little but get me slain here and now".
Argrand sputters at Analin, "Analin Sedai, what power did she use! Have we a chance of even stopping her!?"
Argrand weaves Harden Air around her, "Where is the Amyrlin and the Dragon?"
Argrand draws his heron marked blade and leads the way up the stairs and hopefully to his Lord Dragon.
Argrand nods to Analin, "Agreed Analin Sedai".
Argrand is huffing when he reaches Analin, "Sorry, long run... Let's go!"
Argrand continues his race up the stairs to find Analin Sedai as well as the others. He assumes he should simply follow the carnage to arrive at his destination!
Nearing the tower now Argrand looks about for guards that might stop him, if there are none he will enter the front door.
Argrand keeps heading towards the Tower as fast as he can go!
Argrand stands up doing his best I meant to do that pose and runs for the Tower.
Argrand screams at the sudden lift "Ohhhhh shiiiiiiii...." His voice is down out by the distance covered. As he begins falling towards the roof he gathers his wits and thinks of a solution.
Argrand blinks at Rhoekk and takes the rope in his hand once it is thrown back over the wall, "No wonder they beat us so badly". He mutters as he begins to Climb over the wall.
Rizzen: Could I freeze these doors with the One Power allowing us to break them or are they proofed against such attacks?
"There must be something we can do. Have you a rope Rhoekk?"
Argrand charges forward with Analin Sedai trying to be in if she is in and out if she is out... Reflex
Argrand stops in front of the guard, "For your information I was not mocking her, I was mocking you and your outlandish story. Still I commend you for doing your job the proper way here at the gates, I too was a guardsman once. Tis not an easy task". He then pats him on the shoulder and moves onto the bridge standing flanking Analin Sedai on the side that Landa does not take.
Argrand looks skeptical, "This reeks of a spectacular story borne of little truth man. A man of massive size wielding the One Power? How was he brought down, by the Aes Sedai?"
Argrand cocks his head, "Seanchan ploy? Have they come this far inland to attack the White Tower?!"
Argrand steps forward, his face remaining passively aggressive. He spent many years as a guard for Royalty before becoming an A'shaman, the attitude of such a job is not that much different from a Warder, at least in his experience so Argrand has the face down pat by now.
"Press forward is the only way I see. Whether this entourage will help or hurt our cause I suppose remains to be seen".
