Displacer beasts for sure

I was thinking of making it a greatsword, cause that's kinda how I always imagined Terminus Est. THe lead weapon sounds cool, but impact is a definite I think.

In terms of class I was thinking a fighter, or a cleric that follows a god of death or the empyreal lord of executioners. I was definitely building for intimidate and having Carnifex as his profession, though I'm not sure if the torture aspect of the carnifex role would have me labeled as evil...

Sczarni

No worries. I assumed there wasn't anything. I'll figure something out I'm sure. Keen maybe, or something similar. I only asked cause I don't have all the books and thought maybe there was something hiding out there

Sczarni

So I'm working on a PFS version of Severian from the Book of the New Sun, but I've come to one snag...Terminus Est, his sword.

I know DnD had the mercurial ability you could add to weapons. Does Pathfinder have anything like that?

Sczarni

So I normally play a rogue with a Chaotic Neutral alignment. I have noticed, however, the her actions in game are far more Chaotic Good. Are there any concerns with the GM changing my character's alignment, so long as it doesn't effect the class (a paladin shifting from LG) or make me evil?

Sczarni

Ahhh, I get it...I was doing the calculating completely wrong...

Sczarni

Thanks for the advice. How did you come to the total on the crossbow? When I did it it was much lower...

Though I think I may still give up on the Endless Ammunition

Sczarni

If I add the Igniting ability to my hand crossbow of endless ammunition do the bolts created by the endless ammunition have the igniting ability similar to if the hand crossbow was just an igniting hand crossbow?

Sczarni

Does it seem silly, or at least odd, to anyone else that the feat Dervish Dance has a prerequisite of Weapon Finesse when a scimitar isn't even a finesseable weapon?

Sczarni

Personally, I like the idea of keen on a ranged weapon...other enchantments can be placed on bows and such that then impart that power on to it's ammunition, keen doesn't seem like it would be any different

Sczarni

Hmmm...an El Kabong bard? Sounds like i may have to try that one...

Sczarni

Right! Good point!

Sczarni

I was thinking of having my bard wield an ironwood lute as a weapon with the rough and ready trait. Is this PFS legal? Furthermore, is it actually a good idea or just whimsy on my part?

Sczarni

I was thinking of a knife master for Annah, combo's with two weapon fighting and punch daggers. If only there were a cloak of invisibility that you could leave the cowl down, so as to appear to be a floating head. Personally I'd love to play Morte. He was one of my favs

Sczarni

Good call, thanks! Now, I can't run a githzeri for his race...so that presents another problem...

Sczarni

I was thinking an eldritch knight for dak'kon but I like the ideas that are getting thrown out. I'll have to revisit witch and Oracle for falls though...

Sczarni

I was revisiting one of the greatest DnD games of all time when I got the inkling to make PFS characters from some of the party characters. I have an idea for Dak'kon and Annah-of-the-Shadows as well as Vhailor. The one I really want to try is Falls-from-Grace, but I can't play a succubus...

Any ideas?

Sczarni

So if I have a level one character I can apply my chronicle sheets to him/her?

Sczarni

Am I correct in assuming that I cannot apply the experience earned by a pregens to a character until that character reaches the level of the pregen?

Sczarni

With the Pathfinder Tales Chronicle Sheets, can I give one to each of my PFS characters as long as they are signed off by a GM or do I need to choose just one character?

Sczarni

Thank you both

Sczarni

Having only recently entered into Pathfinder, I've been looking at the Tales and getting a little more into the mythology that surrounds the game.
When I played DnD I got heavily into the Forgotten Realms and DragonLance settings and those were my favorites by far.

So I guess my question is, what do you all think is a good starting point for reading the novels? Is there a such thing as a good first book or should I just grab one off the shelf and run with it?

Thanks

Sczarni

Ahhhh. Thank you

Sczarni

I have two characters in the same faction. I noticed that their prestige is tallied for a total faction prestige. How does this effect my individual characters? Can each character use the pooled prestige/fame?

Sczarni

Good point. Thank you

Sczarni

My son is very interested in Pathfinder and I was thinking of taking him to a local PFS game I've found. Is it legal for me to let him use one of my PFS characters or does he have to have his own PFS number?

(Please don't skewer me too mericlilessly)

Since many items, such as the Traveler's Anytool, are listed in the PRD do I actually need to own the books the equipment is in, or can I simply refer to the PRD?
