Hi all, are there any spots for a new character out there? I've been wanting to try 2e. :)

As games start wrapping up from the PbP convention I am sure you will start to see more recruitment posts. I know I will be offering some.

Sounds great! Can't wait to see the new games up. :)

I loved the fact that Pathfinder included guns as part of their system, and the gunslinger as a class option. I do believe they should be part of the core system, as having base firearms in the book will make their integration with rules in the future easier. That's my belief anyway.

Excellent, I thought it would a nifty synergy. It's why I decided to go with a pistol, since I just thought the visual was nifty. Then I thought, wait I think this actually works. :)

Thanks for the clarification!

Hi all,

I've got a quick question, (goddess, I hope so anyway)

I've got a concept of a pistol wielding character throwing alchemical grenades, which works well with the alchemist (grenadier) concept. I was wondering however with the fast bombs discovery, can I alternate shots from a pistol (using rapid reload, and paper cartridges), assuming no misfires, and using bombs, using only my regular bab? Not using two weapon fighting, as I'm not trying for extra attacks, just a pistol shot or two, plus a thrown bomb at a farther target or something like that.

Thanks!

Ok, interesting. That makes up for starting with a 1d3 unarmed strike until I take some monk levels. Mixing up some fun weapons with unarmed attacks is going to be a fun character.

Hello all,

I've got a question regarding this archetype. I see that it loses all armor proficiencies other than light, and gains monk weapon proficiencies. Are they referring to the monk classes proficiencies, or the monk weapon group? Also, I don't see any reference to removing or replacing the simple or martial proficiencies in the archetype, so do they keep those as well? It's not a make or break kind of thing, it's just I want to see what my options are for ranged weapons and what not.
