It was a pleasure sharing a virtual table with y'all.

It wouldn't let me proceed without selecting a faction. I selected Liberty's Edge. I just copied everything from Ana into PFS Ana.

There's a choice to create a Pathfinder Core Roleplaying Character and another to create a Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Character. The options appear to be the same when I selected them, but I assume I want the latter option, so I will edit that character to have Ana's stats.

Nevynxxx:
I expect the duplicate character name is an issue if I try to create Ana as a Pathfinder Society character, which begs the question - what does the Pathfinder Society character have to do with the game we just played - is there necessarily a relationship? Or can I create a generic Pathfinder Society character that gets credit for the play with Ana?

And what email address do you need? I have several. The one tied to my Paizo account is not the one I use for gaming. I would prefer to use my gaming address.

I have my Pathfinder Society number - is that what you expect with the "01" appended?

"Where is the cup that it cannot be retrieved?

"Just how was his honor injured?"

Having completed her quests, do we need to convince Ulisha to accompany us to the Pathfinder Lodge to sell the Silverhex to the Society?

Ana knows she cannot help the warrior, so she keeps to her vantage point, watching for further threats.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Leryn yawns and waits, looking around for something more interesting to watch now that the fighting is over.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16

Ana, what's your wolf up to?

It doesn't generally stray too far from her without direct orders. I believe the last order given was to guard Ana, so Leryn is sitting tight. watching for threats while her human looks down range.

Ana stands, arrow drawn back, ready to fire, "You're next if you don't drop your weapon. State your business!"

Readied action to fire if he goes for the shot against any of us.

Ulisha begins to inspire the defenders with a tale of treasures found and knowledge earned. Definitely in that order.

She moves if necessary to include the whole party, but stays low to avoid giving the sniper a good shot.

It does indeed.

Ana pops up on one knee and lets fly with her arrow.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4
le sigh

Lyren waits, tense, for the situation to resolve itself.

Ana waits, arrow readied, for the visible potential threats to show themselves to be hostile. Continue to hold the readied action to shoot the shooter.

In the USA, it is Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to any of you that have achieved that distinction and to the men in your life that have earned it, as well.

Peace.

Oh, no, your post was quite clear. I didn't look back far enough. Looks like Alivar, Crowe, and back to me. I will shut up for a while...

Striker's turn. I think Ulisha will prepare to move closer on her next turn to the scrum when Crowe engages with the first enemy and provide inspiration. In the meantime, she has a loaded crossbow.

In that case, Ulisha crouches down to make herself less of a target and loads her crossbow.

Watching the bloodrager move to attack the presumed assassins, she considers when her inspiration would be useful, as well. Is he close enough to engage next round?

Do we have Ulisha's stats?

Ana is still crouched behind the rocks hiding. She will continue to hold her readied action to shoot at the sniper if he looks like he's shooting at the party.

So the assumption is that we share amongst ourselves who we have spotted and where they are? Crowe is probably unaware of the two approaching humans, having fixated on the halfling sniper. If that assumption's true, Ana sees the three enemies. She has a readied action to fire at the halfling if he shows hostile intent. The other two appear to lack ranged weapons and she just keeps a wary on the and tries to remain out of sight.

Did I miss a go after the sniper? And Leryn and Ana are on the same initiative now - that was part of the purpose of the delay.

Marathon? Were you participating?

I assume you mean Ana's wolf, Leryn. Having no ranged attack and for sake of simplification, she delays to sync her initiative with Ana.

Ana has not spotted the approaching foes yet. She readies an action to fire when a hostile individual becomes apparent.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Adjustment if that Perception is successful against the halfling. She will ready an action to fire one arrow if he takes action to fire at the party.

Leryn growls, looking down the path to the south.

Perception to see what she sees?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Regardless, recognizing that it's going to be time for action, Ana crouches down a bit more behind the rocks.

Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Leryn holds her position and growls her warning. Not hiding

Edit: And I still forgot initiative!

Ana goes on: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Leryn goes on: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Thanks. Ana has hung back from the meeting and is focused on looking at possible approaches. I think the spot on the map was around C7 - she is on the south edge of the rough circle in column C, anyway. She will kneel down to get some cover from the rocks while she readies her bow. Perception for her and Leryn was rolled earlier.

Which direction did we come from? What are the areas of texture? Trees, maybe?

Ana hangs back, listening and looking around. Perhaps they got here first...

Ana Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Leryn Perception (low-light, scent): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

ROTFL!

Ana doesn't like leaving the foes bleeding out and attempts to give them a fighting chance by binding their wounds (awkwardly).

Wisdom check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 61d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Not at all sure she was successful, she hurried to catch the rest of the party.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I know a child with the same obse.... interest. The same interest.

*cough* search the bodies *cough*.....

Heh. I literally was going to try and roll that into my post, also, but I thought would be a little contrived, so I left it for someone else.

Ana has little to offer from a healing perspective other than possibly an aid another roll, so she will focus on the enemies.

The hunter moves forward, keeping an eye on the retreating men. She lets the tension off of her bow, but it's a moment's thought to bring it up and fire if they should threaten again.

Heal (untrained): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 Well! Look at that!

"Mistress of Flame, it appears your champion might require some help."

Ana keeps her bow trained on the warriors. "Some allies you are. You would rather flee than stay to aid your fallen fellows?"

Bow drawn back, "Drop your weapon! Lie face down on the ground! One! Two! Three!"

If she reaches three, she's firing at the one standing. If both are still on their feet, she shoots the one she's been using for target practice first.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 - 2 + 1 = 4
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 4 - 2 + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

Ana continues firing at the bowman (W2), firing the arrow already on her bow and swiftly sending another along behind. The goo-flinger gets the second arrow if the first drops W2.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 - 2 + 1 = 5 Rapid Shot, Point-blank Shot
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 Point-blank shot

Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 4 - 2 + 1 = 23 Rapid Shot, Point-blank Shot
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 Point-blank shot

Crit confirmation: 1d20 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 - 2 + 1 = 9 Rapid Shot, Point-blank Shot
Extra Damage: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (8, 1) + 2 = 11 Point-blank shot

Leryn attempts to get free of the sticky substance.

Reflex save to avoid being stuck in place DC 15: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23

I shot W2 twice. Doesn't Alivar get a go?

Ana responds in kind, firing at the bowman (W2), firing the arrow already on her bow and swiftly sending another along behind.

"Leryn, defend."

Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 4 - 2 + 1 = 14 Rapid Shot, Point-blank Shot
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Point-blank shot

Attack: 1d20 + 4 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 4 - 2 + 1 = 21 Rapid Shot, Point-blank Shot
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Point-blank shot

Leryn moves to G7 and snarls, bristling.

H7

Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

I don't know the relative positions. Ana and Leryn would typically be leading, preferably off-path, but I'm sure there is little opportunity for stealth here, so she would have been on the switchback.

Is the comment about the bracelet complete? It reads as though it got truncated during an edit.

Alivar says, "Well! These shiny baubles are actually used as currency by the locals. This represents a fair amount of money if I am not mistaken. The jewelry, however, that is a prize. It will actually absorb damage intended for the wearer. In fact, what it does is slow the speed of something approaching quickly, such as an arrow or weapon, but the cumulative effect is that it saves the user from harm. Hmm, appears to have sustained some damage, however. It's usable lifespan may have been affected negatively." Looking quite pleased with his recall, he hands the items over to anyone interested in looking the over.

Appraise: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Appraise: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

For Alivar

Alivar has appraise, unsure if anyone else does.

"Sometimes, the hard part is just finding what you seek. But we needed your strength to claim it." She seems cautiously optimistic that they can exit stage quickly and complete the mission.

Ana pulls a face at Crowe's back when he comments on her analysis, but steps back and turns her back to the group to watch for any threats or really anyone that might notice their activity.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 And sees absolutely nothing.

Knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

Curious at the nature of the surface the rager uncovered, Ana studies it and tries testing it - rapping on it with the pommel of a dagger, trying to see if the steel of her knife would scratch it.

She steps back so Crowe could get leverage on the 'door' and comments, "Never seen that before. Harder than iron, not quite adamantium. Maybe an alloy. Like making bronze from copper and tin."

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

Ana kneels down to speak to Leryn to keep her calm in this landscape, but something catches her eye. Reaching down to touch the soil as confirmation, she looks up and realizes that Zasha noticed it, too.

"The hillside. The soil is loose, maybe a recent slide? It could have buried what we seek."

Ana's face makes it obvious she shares in Zasha's skepticism, but she says nothing.

Aw, someone burned the little creature. Love it when a misspelling gives you a different word and therefore a different sentence. I assume you mean "winged", which I misspelled as "winded" - so much potential with that word!

If Ana has an action, she will shoot at Crowe's tiny antagonist.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 Duck! It goin' wide!

Ana shakes her head in frustration, unable to determine what might be happening.

Knowledge (Nature): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 to try to identify what's happening

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 to try to see what's going on
