I think the ruling (at least house rule wise) for disciplines is you get broken blade and a discipline granted by the order. You can replace broken blade with another discipline as independent study, but whether this grants access to non-order disciplines or not I have no idea. And looking at the campaign tab shows:
Campaign tab wrote: everyone gains Path of war disciplines based on their Order, all Monks gain Broken Blade discipline for free, and may swap it out for any one other discipline if they so desire. Well nevermind, I thought wrong. Personally it might benefit to focus on two (maybe three) disciplines...
After thinking about his back story, I decided to move Amin into the Opal Ghosts. (Though he will miss the general +1 to CMB... but BigP4nda's character sounded like a better fit anyway.) As such I have updated his background, description, and character sheet to reflect this. I gave him some basic items and finished his Ten-Minute Background as well. I would like to give his character sheet a once over one last time to ensure everything is correct, but Amin should be ready otherwise. (I promise I won't play with his concept anymore.) He should be a good anvil for a non-magic party, disarming and/or tripping as needed, but he can put a good amount of damage into an attack or two. He also should be able to deal with any traps or sneaking as needed (i.e. rogue replacement.) Finally I had a couple of questions
Also any suggestions, commments, critiques, or ideas are accepted. I would enjoy the feedback. P.S.
Still not complete but this is what I have for now.
Edit: just noticed the ability bonuses were every even level instead of EVERY level, like I thought they were for some reason. His Wis and Wis based numbers are correct now but I don't know about every other score...

Changed a just a few things... No harm intended. Updated Amin's background to mesh with the suspended Olympics.
Fun with tables: Amin looks over Isabela's outline and starts making notes in the margins. "I'll take the section on stories of black magic during the wars and Great Depression." After a few minutes of listening to the flirting he looks up at Kakeru and Isabela, "Are you two going to work on the project or act like mating pigeons? I mean even Taco is getting more done here than you two. If we're taking the time as a group to work on the project we should focus more." He drops to a whisper, "Besides the librarian is never going to be trusted with the really sensitive stuff; it's in the Principal's office, if the school has any. Searching the librarian's office isn't a bad idea to start with, though. She still hasn't started her break yet...Once again, though, don't tell me, I can't lie worth a d@!n."

Okay I'll need to work on Amin's background a litle then. Anything else that looks problematic? Librarian fun: Having pulled the librarian's attention and eyes to the front of the library and well away from Taco, Isabela, and the Z section, Amin comments, "Oh, looks like the thugs have moved on, Cobalt doesn't use words unless he absolutely has to...Sorry to bother you Mrs. Kelsey." With this he heads back to the group project table. At the table he whispers, "I'd recommend not talking around Mrs. Kelsey for a while..."
And just to complicate things I also was wondering a few things. 1st: Are the Olympics something that exist? And if so does the States still send people as a show of national power? 2nd: (Being a slight Japanophile) What happened to Japan after WWII? Did the occupation occur. 3rd: Building off the previous question, what happened to Germany? Finally, outside of the Olympics is there anything wrong with Amin's background or numbers? Aizawa:
No problems with the use of culture. It's kind of nice. And yeah people in Japan typically call others by their last name, but yiu've probably been in the states long enough to not be as strict about it... Yes I was asking whether you coukd speak any, I really need some practice... Cobalt: Using them in case the GM or other applicants didn't want recruitment role-playing.
Library fun:
Amin stops and turns to Cobalt and starts, "Oh Cobalt, you were keeping an eye on those thugs weren't you?" Bluff, message: 1d20 ⇒ 7 Ohh low, oh well. S.M. DC 7: Amin's words say one thing but his body language and eyes seem to scream, "The Ice Queen is up to her tricks, and I need to distract the librarian, wanna help?"
Cobalt, you can mark up to 10 skills as class skills for an expert... making some of those good wis based skills fantastic.
Books, books, and fun for this is a library!: "Welllll, you'll have to ask her about that. I'm just an emissary. But, she might consider it." With one diplomatic duty discharged, he heads to the librarian. Marcus is here to help? I hope he can help me keep her occupied... "Uh, Ms. Kelsey, I know your on break soon but can I need your help outside? There were some thugs hanging around the building..." While following the librarian out he passes a note to Isabela and Taco.
I decided to change Amin's intended path a bit; we don't have any good ranged applicants. Hoping to go Zen Archer now. And in retrospect I like this path/idea a bit better, especially for long-term motivations. Book hunt fun: Amin glares at Isabela for a moment after her speech, and continues in a cutting whisper, "I told you not to tell me! Now I can't deny anything. Fine, your majesty, in for a penny in for a pound. I need a good grade in this class, Mr. Gibbons is too harsh grader. But I swear if you hurt may chances at school or the Olympics, yeah, it's a pipe dream, you will regret it." With this he glances at the two soft cases carrying his baseball bat and unstrung shortbow, and decides he doesn't want to leave them. Not really knowing Marcus he gives him little attention Bat on one shoulder and bow on the other he heads to Zov's throne/desk thing. When he gets close enough to talk with the drow without anyone but "Watson" overhearing. "The Ice Queen is planning another move against the 'man.'" You want to help, or not? I would recommend not interfering if you don't want to help." "Sigh, I hate it when she ropes me into her plans, but opposing her is even riskier."
The fun, it continues: Amin gives Zov a quick glance and sighs. He moves his chair to face the drow and continues in a straight voice, "Just because the school finds what ever you do useful and, for Lissala knows why, decides to let you use part of the library does not make it your office. What are you working on anyways, other than reading our schools impressive selection of dreadfuls?"
If any of this is messing with character ideas let me know. Just trying to make sense of somethings that, personally, made little sense...
Created a character sheet and an alias Fun, fun for everyone: At this point the library doors open and in rushes Amin. He stands a comfortable five foot seven or so and his short hair is ruffled. He looks as though he has been running. He glances around the library and notices Isabela. He heads for the table. Sorry I took so long, coach needed to talk about something. I did find some of the books you were looking for at the city library." As he gets to the table he sets down his bags, one a traditional bookbag, the second a small duffel bag. from the first bag he pulls out a stack of books, bookmarked with pieces of paper, and places them on the table. "I found a few references to evil magic, but they were obscure and I didn't really understand them... Are you sure you're okay with writing our group project paper by yourself? I can help with the editing." Finishing with his rush, he takes a deep breath and finally glances around the table. Oh, Taco, what are you doing here? Are you joining our group? Good we needed one more person. With this he notices the conspiratorial glances the two are giving each other. You two are up to something aren't you? Wait don't tell me I don't want to know. You know Isabela, you might get the best grades in school but one of these days they're going to catch you. And Taco, she's a bad influence, be careful." "Are we changing topics?" With this he looks at the pile of books and sighs. "Oh well, some of these books covered insanity as well. and if any of the rumors I have heard are true, drugs can act like insanity. Hopefully this can still help." With this he starts looking through the books for useful passages. After a few moments he looks up at Zov. "Zov, are you still hiding out here? Hiding out in your 'court?'"
