"Its Mites", Amadia cries out, quickly informing the party of everything she knows. Deciding that eliminating whatever is controlling the mites to be the most tactical decision, Amadia tries her hand at throwing a bomb after moving slightly forward, attempting to finish the fight quickly. Bomb Touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Damn, forums ate my post. Anyway yes, I see Sarenrae giving the Tower Girls the option to reform, or live better lives than the one they used to lead. She doesn't have to force them to succeed, but as a character, its worth giving it a try. In regards to finding other shards, if we rest my abilities recharge and I can assist on knowledge checks again.

Or I could move and then cast the extract, which means that it can prolly get there on its own move action. Regardless, ranged touch attack is Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12 Either way, it gets there and starts its attack, and idk, maybe this boss has to roll to avoid catching a possible disease.

That questions a little tougher, due to the wording of "the extract is inert if it ever leaves the alchemists possession". Since I have the infusion discovery, then this doesn't actually matter, since I can toss the bottle or give it to someone else and its not inert. As far as WHERE its summoned, thats difficult. As per the spell, it should appear anywhere within the range of the spell, since its effectively an "uncorking" of a bottle, and the creature materializes within (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels). That said, there is no official wording on that yet, its just my interpretation.

Quote: An alchemist can draw and drink an extract as a standard action. Since, in this case, SNA is an extract, then its a standard action to use (just like Enlarge Person is a standard action for the Alchemist). It means that the preservationist alchemist joins one of like 4-5 classes/archetypes that can summon as a standard action or quicker, which is pretty neat! I do indeed miss out on my poison use. If its still listed on my sheet its just a HeroLab error, but its not an important one since I never operated on the belief that I still had the class feature. Stirge Attack Touch: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

"About that last Tower Girl", Amadia mutters, "I'm afraid I don't have the components to make any more of my bombs on me for the rest of today, so I don't think you could count on me roasting Tower Girls like I did in the last encounter" Actually GM I had a query. Bombs per day are set by your Intelligence modifier, which can be increased thanks to my Cognitogen. If I drink my Cognitogen, do I get "extra" bombs as long as it lasts or do you rule that the intelligence bonus gained from it does not grant temporary access to more bombs.

OOC wise, she really should have a melee weapon, but IC wise, she has never really needed one, relying heavily on her bombs (as a scientist she never experienced much practical combat), ergo, I never put a melee weapon on her sheet. I'll potentially pick up a longspear when I can eventually, just so she can have something to fall back on, but wanted to do so after the character actually realised that she needed one.

In general (unless I am mistaken), the base form stays, although I believe there is an archtype that lets you change the base type a certain levels of the class. There are quite a few "Badass Cats" in pokemon so he wouldn't have an issue finding inspiration if he wanted to recreate a pokemon (unsure if thats what he wants).

Quote: Selecting the replacement character was the thing that got him over the death. He's a big Pokemon fan, so summoner here we come! Sounds like we're rolling up a new character for Christmas. Missed this, but small world, I'm still a casual pokemon fan myself, although I don't think I can call myself 100% casual when I moderate a pokemon website in my spare time.

Amadia moves up and throws a bomb at the nearest cluster of enemies, hoping the splash radius will deal maximum damage. Bomb: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
I cannot help but feel the map is delayed like a full turn, I don't know how I got attacked when the battlemap shows nothing in melee range, and its difficult to make an action when I don't know if I am provoking, or who is the more significant target. I legitimately feel like I'm making my actions blind atm.
