Thanks for trying to save Althea guys. She was one of my favorite characters... however let's just let her die. The pace of this game where the GM posts... maybe once a week is just to slow to really feel like we're accomplishing anything. Thanks for the opportunity GM. Please remove Althea from the campaign.

Once again seeing the archers as the threat that can reach any of them at any time, Althea tries to keep cover best as she can, and sends another bolt of eldritch energy at the remaining archer. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Aim & Fire 1d10 ⇒ 3 Result of said actions. She then looks quizzically at her aiming finger, grimaces and pulls forth her trident prepared to take another tactic.

Althea seeing the others involved in melee, fires one of her watery eldritch blasts at the archer sniping the rest of the party. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 To Hit
Then tries to take cover from same archer if there is anywhere to hide.

Althea starts to follow the running enemy down the stairs, then hesitates at the beginning of the staircase. "Let us not haste into a hail of deadly projectiles as we did upon descent of the last stairwell". She peers back over her shoulder at the last staircase, and at the wound she received there. "Let us proceed with care, and I can create a wall of fog to conceal us before we make our presence known... What say the"? Althea begins to move forward stealhily. When she gets to an open exposed area she will create Fog Cloud among the enemy if any. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 Stealth 1d20 ⇒ 2 Perception

For some reason I can't find the map. Althea grimaces at the pain, but still tries to fire off an eldritch blast at one of the enemy. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 EB 1d10 ⇒ 5 Force Damage Then stomps her feat and looks at her finger trying to figure out whats wrong. If she can take cover she will after the shot.

Althea gasps in pain as the bolt takes her in the side. Should have cast that Wall of fog Didn't realize that Althea had descended that far down the steps after becoming aware of the enemy, but no problem. She turns in rage towards the crossbowmen. 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 To Hit
"I hope thy made peace with thy maker today for this is thine last day to draw breath". After the blast she looks for somewhere (Under the stairs?) to take cover.

Althea looks down the hole, and shrugs as Orym walks past, then turns and follows him. "Unless thine eyes can pierce the darkness, we should bring something to illuminate". The Triton grabs one of the torches from her bundle, and takes out her kit to light it before following Orym down.

Althea is glad to see that Duncan has rejoined them. She points to the North Door. "I saw footprints in yonder room. They seemed to strangely end in the corner of the room. Perhaps we should explore there before moving onward". Althea moves into the room and tries to determine if she can figure out where the footprints were leading. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 Investigation?

"It would be a good idea for someone more learned than myself to review these documents. Meanwhile, this room seems a good place to rest for a bit, and see if our comrade can recover a bit. I'll watch the hallway". Short Rest?

Looks like we've got 3-4 that post at least occasionally. Maybe we recruit some more active participants and keep going? Althea is one of my favorite characters, and I'd hate to see her float off into the depths.

Althea motions the others to the room she just opened. She describes what is in each room. "We need to check out where those tracks lead, but why don't we search these other two rooms first, starting with this one". 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10 Investigation (To investigate the desk) She steps carefully into the room, and pokes at the desk with her single prong trident, before getting closer. 1d20 ⇒ 12 Perception (For anything else in the room)

"Here there are footprints leading to that corner. I also would dare not trust that pile of refuse. Let me see what is behind the other door, then we can decide how to proceed". Althea closes the door behind her, and performs the same techniques on the last door in the hallway. 1d20 ⇒ 10 Perception

"We might as well finish looking around until Duncan finishes his slumber". Althea moves to the door at the end of the hall, and listens before opening it up. If she hears anything she'll pass the information along before opening. 1d20 ⇒ 16 Perception

Althea moves to the door on the South wall, and listens for any sounds, before opening to see what's inside. "Thine fear of supernatural spirits seems to have paralyzed you. There are no such things as ghosts". 1d20 ⇒ 6 Perception

"Let's go into the entryway and decide where to go from there. He's paralyzed not injured. I don't think a healing potion cures that. Just wait till it wears off". Althea goes into the previously scouted entryway, and walks towards the corridor leading to the west wing of the house, hoping the others might follow. "We can leave him lying there for a moment while we look around a little bit... or just sit in this room for a bit till he wakes up".

1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 Nature Althea walks up to the man, and tries to figure out what the problem might be. She pokes his shoulder and turns to the others shaking her head. "I have seen sea dwelling creatures laying upon the sand like this, and land dwellers upon the sea floor. I don't think he's dead".

Once Althea sees that the landlubbers have not followed her, she follows the voices back and reports her findings. "Yonder Entry hall seems to be the hub of this residence, with multiple corridors leading onward, and steps to a balcony overlooking the foyer". She then peaks her head in the door. "Is it time to break our fast? If so I'm good for now".

Althea turns to see if the others are following her in time to see Duncan brush past her and open the door. She simply shrugs, not really caring. Walking in the place made her a bit nervous. She really didn't like dark closed in places to begins with, and this ones condition set her on edge. 1d20 ⇒ 4 Perception She gingerly enters the room as the others crowd in, testing the strength of the floor as she treads forward.
