Seriously, I've followed Shelyn since my youth, and I still learned the fighting style of Iomedae. You can too, I imagine.

Please, not like this...

I dunno, sounds fine by me.

I should talk about Allie's build in here at some point... it's very me.

Using this blessing from the Eternal Rose as a tool of killing is the last thing I would want to do. I am glad her favor remains with myself and my fellow Pathfinders.

I forgot I had a naginata! I found it on an adventure in Tian Xia.

I've gotten to +8 so far (from Helpful and Self-Sacrifice), with another +6 to AC and saves when I use loyal oath. And I'm not even trying that hard. So I bet it's doable.

I must be one of the few to ever change my allegiance to the Grand Lodge. Given my devotion to protecting my allies, it eventually became obvious that it was the place for me.

I'm doing all right as a Shelynite paladin. It's all about helping people succeed.

I joined the Society to help out and be a team player, not necessarily to stab bad men. Fortunately, I've never been sent out with anyone playing with devils or raising the dead.

If I were... I'unno. No aid another for them, I guess. It's not like there's nobody else here who might be glad for Shelyn's favor.

If I weren't needed for more dangerous missions, it would have been interesting to try to compete. A paladin shouldn't need fancy tools to protect others... just faith, skill, and devotion.

Allie just leveled up to 6th. Drat.

Allie was built around this sort of thing.

In addition to Combat Advice, the halfling-only Shelynite religion trait Self-Sacrifice (from Halflings of Golarion, I believe) lets me spend a move action to grant an adjacent ally the benefits of soft cover, regardless of size difference.

Meanwhile, I've got Iomedae's Inspiring Sword, aid another for +4 (or +5 AC), and oath of loyalty for +5 to AC and saves. I can even do a lot of that in songbird form thanks to my ring.

Soon, I'll have an intelligent allying weapon to go with all that. Divine bond lets me increase the enhancement bonus that I pass around, and since I'm using aid another 95% of the time, it doesn't matter if the weapon is currently broken. Maybe I should see about getting benevolent armor spikes to go with it...

The point is, this is what happens when you tell your daughter she can't be a bard.

I'm kind of a dedicated healer and/or protector.

I don't know anything about that halfling comic.

I admit, I'll be a little sad if my discount cloak is illegitimate...

Halflings also get the favored class bonus and IMO make great Paladins. Size bonus to AC, racial bonus to saves and size bonus to hit are all nice things.

This fellow knows what's up. ^_^

I actually bought a masterwork naginata from a Chronicle sheet - I liked the idea of having something tied to my adventure. I thought it more flavorful that just getting a spear.

The benevolent change did affect me... my armor won't get stronger as quickly now, I suppose.

Ah, well. Could be worse. ^_^

Yeah, I had to burn 6 PP on a faction change, having played my paladin as Silver Crusade a while back. (One of the only two times I actually played her.)

I did it at 2nd level, though, on the first available Chronicle - that saved me some PP.

I should update the stats on here...
