With a simple glance towards Edgar, Allen shakes his head. "Let me guess, you're out of useful spells again. You should consider learning some that work on mindless things."
Making his way to Narika, he blesses her to finish to task.

*Cough*Cough* "Wow, that stuff burns!" whines Allen. Quickly reactivating the blessing on Narika, he swoops towards Hamish. "I don't like that stuff."
The raven nods and flies off towards Narika. "I can't activate the wand, missing the required hands an all, but I'll pass along the guidance of Pharasma to any that try."
Casting something, he reluctantly flies out of the comfort of Edgar's Robes, Allen looks towards Hamish. "The Lady of Graves is not ready for you." he advises Flying away from the undead and down, the tiny bird pecks the man softly with it's beak. A bright energy shoots out and into Hamish's prone form.
Rebuke Death (Sp): You can touch a living creature as a standard action, healing it for 1d4 points of damage plus 1 for every two cleric levels you possess. You can only use this ability on a creature that is below 0 hit points.
With a nod to Kiku, Allen agrees. "Yes, while my companion is driven by other morals, I find it enjoyable to do good in this world."
"Well, if you'd look at the foliage more and less at the woman, you'd certainly notice those carvings." points out the raven. "Though, I'm not quite sure what to make of them."
Flying after the boat, Allen readies to peck Hamish again. "I know you'll use Pharasma's guidance momentarily. I'll remind her you need more help afterwards."
Shaking his head, the raven flies down and casts guidance on Hamish. "Good luck, sir"
As Shiro flies towards the danger, Allen quickly grabs hold of the man and calls out "May Pharasma's grace guide you through the boneyard!" A blast of white light arcs down from the heavens and through the bird to engulf Shiro. "Now, that said, I do hope it's many years before you meet her for judgement."
Allen shakes his head, taking flight. "Edgar, I foresee you getting wet or eaten."
Rather under-excited about his pet climbing down the ladder, Allen takes flight and swoops down to the waiting boats. "Watch your step there Edgar. It'd be a shame if I had to find me a new pet." he advises.
Gliding towards Danile, Allen considers the dead man's words. "Hmm...well it is possible that his words had some power in them."
Going to wait till others have a chance to post for Allen. He'll likely give someone guidance again, but not sure who it'll be yet.
Flying up to Joaquin, Allen announces, "May my mistress guide your blade."
Slipping through the gap right behind Edgar, as the crowd shifts again closing it up, he snaps back. "One lucky read does not make you a master!"
Taking a more finessed approach to the situation, Allen observes those before him and selects the path of least resistance. The black bird takes off with lightning speed. Catching the Edgar's massive failure in the corner of his eye, Allen cries out "Yeah, that's why you belong to me! See how easil...." "WHACK' stopping short as he flies headlong into the wall.
The raven wheels around, preparing for more combatants. With a nod to those in melee, he orders "Do your worst! Show him his mistake."
Wiping his beak with a soggy wing, Allen frowns. 'Well, that was a bit much...' he considers. With a flying somersault, he swiftly joins Edgar on the opposite side of the room.
'HReck' Continuing to empty the bile within, Allen struggles after his minion, landing with a thud next to Edgar.
Hearing the cries from his minion, Allen does his best to hold his breath. Frantically, he flies towards the sounds of Edgar beyond the cloud.
Watching the figures split amongst the crowd, Allen easily swoops away from the jagged glass. "Helps to pay attention Edgar." he replies with a chuckle.
"Pardon me Edgar? You would do well to learn from this man." chastises the avian herald. "We've no way of knowing what to expect at that auction. Is it really going to be so easy to fight if you've a carcass rolling around in your gut?" Shaking his head, Allen gingerly pecks at the offered bread and quietly follows his fellow teammates into the room, staying close to Edgar.
"Thank you sir." answers the bird as it turns and flies back to the group on the front porch. Whispering in Edgar's ear, it relays the information.
The black bird soaring through the night towards the meeting place, swoops down near Daniel. "Hey, they are busy blah blah blahing with the resident of the house, so Edgar sent me. What'd you find?" he asks the half-orc. Glancing back towards the house down the street, he adds "If you ask me, they could use any help you can give them...they don't seem too scary to me."
Glowing briefing, Allen taps Redgar with a wing. "Let Pharasma guide you." he mumbles.
Trying to stay just out of the hydra's reach, Allen flies around the arena towards Daniel.
Shuddering as the spell is pulled from within, Allen eyes Edgar with utter confusion. Listening a moment, the bird begins to put it all together and flitters towards the center of the room. "Guys, I think he's figured out this beast has regenerative abilities. Perhaps we can put on a better show...make it last a little longer?" he whispers to the other pathfinders.
Seeing as no one has used his blessing yet, Allen flitters down towards Edgar, hoping the best goes after someone else.
"Uh...your welcome Edgar." states Allen with a sigh. As the others beginning preparing, the bird flits from each pathfinder to the other. "And...you get blessed...and you get blessed....and you get blessed..." he keeps repeating.
Rolling his eyes, Allen chuckles. "He tends to get his underroos in a knot about the undead." advises the bird.
"Well, I think it'd look better if you actually covered the gold with your wares..." squawks Allen. Quickly he hops about shifting the equipment around to better cover the shiny coins. "That looks better." he remarks. As they move about at their task, the Raven hops about between their companions refreshing guidance on them as often as possible.
Fluttering down next to Edgar, Allen pipes up. "Good thing I taught you that spell, eh Edgar?" Turning his gaze from the witch to the chest and back, the avian shakes it's head. [b}"My counterpart here isn't known for...shall we say...large carrying capacity. Not sure how much help the weakling will be in hoisting that gold on foot."[/b]
"The real question is how are we going to know when we find the right caravan? Fight them outright, subdue them...it's no matter. If we decide to pirate the wrong one... Well, either we become criminals or it distracts us long enough for the Aspis to get their gold." whispers Allen, glancing sideways towards the caravan ahead.
Allen soars around the room for a moment before landing on Edgar's head. Turning towards the balding man next to his companion, the bird looks down and inquires "Could it be? Are you Lenore?"
A black raven swoops down moments after Edgar's outburst. Landing on a chair nearby, he speaks. "Pardon my friend here. He's...a bit high strung." Glaring at the human, it offers a wing to Seren. "I'm Allen. My ill-mannered friend here is Edgar."
Turning it's intense eyes towards the Drill Sergeant, the feathered creature nods. "His religious views aside, he has his moments. Though truth of the matter is simple, our patron has charged me with aiding the poor sap."
The tiny feathered creature screeches as Edgar finishes his statement. Taking flight, it makes a lap around the room before landing on the table before the dwarf. Surprisingly, the thing speaks. "He's not a cleric. He does the bidding of his god, and casts spells...but lets be frank here. He gets his 'divine spells' from me." |
