Adoril will move into the room Dejat is in and swing at the stirge.

Adoril will double move in front of the red cultist to block the doorway. "I've got this side covered!"

"Furniture in front of the door?" Adoril will begin working on that until someone else suggests something.

"Then we got a couple dozen souls that need sorting. We'll help you get your boy back. Any other ideas where he might be? Do you have a safe place to hide?"

Adoril angrily strikes the effigy with the shovel many times.

"I'll be taking notes of our trip so far. Let me know when you all are ready to see the mayor. Let's not forget those potions either."

"Yea. I hope we don't either." Adoril picks up a shovel to help.

Adoril shudders at the memory of his first slime encounter and moves to attack.

He glances at Corrin and Ugly Kidd while walking up, shrugs and shouts "Heavy sword swing!"

"Assist Ugly Kidd first! I'll be fine with these two!"

Adoril paces back and forth, mostly upset with himself. At Ugly Kidd's question, he shoots a glance at Shel, "We should probably get her somewhere safe." his words dripping with anger. He shakes his head trying to calm himself down. Assuming we are sharing all of our info and knowledge rolls "The mace that Corrin found confirms that these people are, at best, lying about not knowing much about the taxman. At worst, and now the most likely outcome, they are the reason he disappeared. I'm keen on finding out why and never allowing it to happen again."

Adoril will strike at the closest cultist. pink

Adoril will move to and draw his greatsword. Then cast lay on hands on himself.

Adoril growls "Oh, the mistakes you've made."

Adoril will attempt to leap down from the upper floor towards his sword and armor.

I dunno what types of rolls I gotta make here, athletics or something? Probably a bunch of AOPs too.

Adoril pulls out the sunrod, activates it, and tries to throw it near the closest opening.

Throw the rod? Maybe unnecessary: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 <--standard Adoril rolls...

Adoril sighs and considers the merits of celibacy as a free action.

Adoril cautiously looks around, "Let's just be certain we are alone. Wouldn't want any nasty surprises."

"I've got a couple of sunrods on hand. I'll light one and toss it out of a window if I need help." Adoril shakes his head and looks slightly embarrassed. "Hopefully I won't require back up after I settle down and wed..."

Adoril scratches his head, "I know it's a very strange thing to ask, but the way I see it she has seen us asking all around about this man and this could have been a smart way to disguise that she wants to give up some information." Adoril smirks a little, "Or...it's exactly what you think."

Adoril will let the team see the note and suggest he sees if Ms. Lupescu has any information, also they may want to be close enough to
the meeting place provide back up...but not too close.

Adoril rubs his thumb on the paper in his hand behind his back. "I feel like camping outside tonight. Please don't take offense mayor, I just feel like I need a little out of doors time to restrengthen my bond with Erastil." He smiles warmly.

Adoril feels kinda weird and tries his hardest not to look at Shel. "Uh, Dejat, maybe one of us should talk to the young lady Lupescu? She might know about the weird goings on." He scratches his beard a little bit, "I ummm, mostly mean maybe you should talk to her."

Adoril adds to Ugly Kidd's question, "Do you have any idea what that was or how it happened?"

I will be able to post again until some more covfefe stuff happens.

Adoril agrees. While out he will check with the other to see if they think the mayor's story is fishy.

I'm assuming he found us. I don't object to this plan.
Adoril will present his wayfinder to the man.

"We're here looking for a tax collector. He was supposed to have been here about a month ago. Named Elias. We need any information available."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Adoril will head back to the smith.

If the family is still around,"Sir, or Ma'am why is the Church of Desna in such a poor state?"

Adoril will take note of the church's state. A little out of anger, mostly out of curiosity to ask the town's leadership/citizenry.

Adoril will check the cairns afterward.

Adoril will move onto the ruined church. He'll start giving each area he stops in a few detect evil casts for good measure also.

Adoril will thank the lady after jotting down the notes from her and the smith.

If possible,Adoril will suggest splitting up to cover more ground. He and Corrin can check with the weaver while Dejat and Ugly Kidd visit the psychic.

If we can't split up Adoril will just suggest the psychic next.

"We should also make an effort to check in at the manor before the festival. Anyone have a different idea, or does this sound good?"

Adoril will walk up to the smith, greet him, and show the man his wayfinder.

"Sir, we are Pathfinders sent to find a man that came here about a month ago. His name is Elias. Did you happen to see him?"

Adoril shakes his head.

"I don't think he made off with the taxes on his own. What do you all think of heading to the trading post first? It seems our friend was close friends with the bottle for some time, so there or an inn would be the first place I would go for a drink. Maybe someone there has more information on him?"

Adoril will show the man his Wayfinder.

"We are Pathfinders on a mission to find a man who came here what'd probably be about a month ago, friend. His name is Elias. Did he happen to take your ferry?"

Adoril smiles gently at the man.

He let's out a sigh, and heaves a javelin at the pumpkin.

What sorts of dice am I gonna roll to fling Gaz? Assuming one gourd is still up in the air? We gotta make this happen.

"Perhaps after we investigate Elm's farm we could ask Bertinard about the hags and his lantern?" Adoril looks toward the group, "I'll take notes during the investigation and log our dealings so far. "

Adoril is awkwardly shifting positions, leaning against a wall on the look out for any funny business. He doesn't feel much like celebrating after demonstrating exactly how not to talk to other people. He pays more attention to Bertinard while trying to make it look like he's just sulking in the corner.

Adoril gives a big smile and says

"Hello there! I am Adoril Carter and these are my compatriots. We've been sent by the Pathfinder Society (he points to his wayfinder) to make contact with a Ms. Armeline. Are you her?"

"That's going to be a real awkward conversation."
The paladin looks down at a recently halfling tested pie, shrugs and eats a bit.
"Any suggestions or other info you can give us before we go?"

Adoril just stares, dumbfounded for a moment. "That bird is some acrobat..."

Adoril ties up his donkey, Tanto, outside the lodge and makes sure he has some food.

Adoril dusts himself off a little and walks inside to the meeting place.

"Hello, I'm Adoril Carter. A paladin of Erastil. Pleasure meeting you all."

The bow accompanying the greeting is a little awkward, clearly not a natural thing for this man to be doing.

"Gaz, good to see you again. Maybe we can get you airborne this time."
