Hmm, y'know, this is not on https://paizo.com/store/gaming/accessories/virtualTableTop/foundryVirtualTa bletop yet. I wonder if this is just a case of the page going live before it was ready. Especially just before GenCon, when everyone at Paizo was likely distracted. And, now, of course, everyone is recovering :-).

I think they've mostly fixed the pricing, which was apparently showing as $29.99 for people who had the PDF. There was a comment on reddit that mentioned there was an error that they were addressing.

I have the PDF (AP subscription) and the price for me is $19.99, which I believe is the intended price in that instance.

If you don't already have the PDF, it's $29.99 to get both the PDF and the module. That is less of a discount than they were doing before, where the PDF price was entirely removed.

The PDF by itself is $18.99.

It makes it slightly less of an amazing deal if you already subscribe to the APs, but $20 for the amount of prep these take is still a great price for PDF owners, and $30 for both is extremely reasonable.

But...I'm running Kingmaker next, so I'm mostly left hoping they actually tackle that one sometime in the next couple of months.

Well, Kingmaker 2e is coming out soon (5 years after I backed it, sigh), so it may be in the works. < crosses fingers >

The thing is that Punks in a Powderkeg for Foundry, for example, is $7, if you have the PDF, discounted from $24.99. The print edition it $24.99 and the PDF is $17.99 by itself. This led me to believe that, like Fantasy Grounds and Roll20, the discount from the listed VTT price would be the price of the PDF by itself. So I was expecting a price of $11 or so.

I'm not debating the value. The other Foundry adaptations look great! They even include some localized sounds! I'm just trying to understand the pricing scheme, because it looks different from what I expected.

This discount seems substantially lower than that for the Outlaws of Alkenstar adventures. Is that right? It looks like the PDF for this title is $18.99, not $10. Am I misunderstanding the discount?

So now that AV is released for Foundy VTT, what and when are next? Is the a release schedule at all?

Is there intent to hook Nexus and Foundry (well, and Roll20 and other VTTs) kind of like DnDBeyond and Roll20 with Beyond20?

You need to own the PDF for the AP, physical book ownership does nothing to prove you already own the PDF nor eliminate the PDF purchase cost component that is baked into the Foundry product. In other words, if you can prove you own the PDF on the Paizo store you will only be paying for the data that Foundry made and shouldn't have to pay for the PDF as part of that purchase again.

Druid sorted. Switched to Edge, cleared cache and tried again. Worked a charm. Now just the cleric to go. The I'll buy the rogue if I can get the cleric to work

Same, but I got it to work on Firefox. Cleric appears to be no-good, < 200B listed on page as I recall. All other books, including Rogue appear to work.

I'm having the same problem. Tried clearing data and logging out and logging back in.

Are these figures part of the Pathfinder Battles subscription?

Ah, now I see why PFS was complimentary but SFS was not. I am now getting ACG society scenarios complimentarily. Not what I was expecting, but not inaccurate.

The "My Subscription" page looks nice and updated now. My Pathfinder Society and Starfinder Society subs are now marked as "complimentary" (thanks!).

The only thing that's still to change, I guess, is the Pathfinder Player Companion sub, which is still listed among the active subscriptions and shows that the next volume to ship will be the Second Darkness Player Guide, which actually was the first book in that product line.

My PFS Subscription is complimentary and upcoming PFS item has no cost, but SFS subscription is not complimentary and upcoming SFS items have discounted prices. Also, newly available Starfinder Society Scenario #1–99: The Scoured Stars Invasion showing no discount. Perhaps this is just a timing issue. But the mechanics of it seem...clear.

Yes, I saw that, but when I put it in my cart, I saw no Paizo Advantage discount (I assume the free PFS and SFS Advantage hasn't started yet).. Is this product eligible for the discount?

I played with printing couple of years ago. With this is mind. Setting aside the revenue issues with paizo, wizkids, etc., What I found is the problem with printing my own stuff is that I wound up more stuff. I could see that storage (and searching) stuff would become an issue quickly.

No worries -- just trying to provide observations to drive a solution.

Let me be more direct. It appears that Paizo/Fantasy Grounds have been syncing the wrong Product Number since it became available. PZ09080E when it should have been PZ09079E. Now that PZ09080E is available for sync, and successfully synced immediately, that became even more obvious. I imagine, it's simply a matter of updating the product number mapping or list or whatever to reflect that.

Well the good news is that Empty Graves is now syncing, as predicted, when it became available. However The Half-Dead City still is not...

Sorry for the confusion! We've recently been having some issues with synchronization for programs such as Fantasy Grounds and Smiteworks, our tech team is aware of the issue and they should be working on a fix. I don't currently have an estimate for when it will be resolved, but there will likely be some sort of messageboard post once it's been fixed.

so, right now it appears that the synchronization is taking place with PZO9080E, Empty Graves, whereas The Half-Dead City is PZO9079E unless I miss my guess.

Hmm, I received the email with the digital purchases (Order 4366228). There is a note for the order reading "This order contains three digital purchases that are not currently available". But each item has a note, "In your downloads". I am not finding them in my downloads. Perhaps they haven't been released yet? Or perhaps I need to wait a day for the server to update? Or perhaps there's still a snafu?

I've done some poking and prodding and your subscriptions should be good now.

If you aren't seeing anything in the expected shipments right now, don't worry about that. That has some display errors that the tech team still needs to look into. As long as all the correct items are in your sidecart, you should have an order get generated for them in August.

Still working this? I'm seeing two Core Rulebook Pawn Collections, no Core Rulebook, no Incident at Absalom Station in my side cart and no Starfinder at all in my expected shipments at the moment.

Looks like there may have been a snafu in switching from Starfinder pre-order to subscription. Looks like the August shipment is missing Core Rulebook, Incident at Absalom Station, the two flip mats and the Pawns base assortment. the flip-mats and the base assortment are in my sidecart, but the other items are not. Am I misreading, or is there an issue?

I think Vic said, no announced plans. A while ago, Lisa posted "Patience". I'm sure there are discussions, but nothing concrete enough to be announced. There would likely be legal or financial consequences if something were announced prematurely. And, while discussions may be taking place, nothing may ever come of them. We'll just have to wait until something can be announced...

So I was just thumbing through my paper copy of this, and found that pages 65 through 80 are missing. Am I the only one? How is Paizo going to make this right?

Let me say that I have always been pleased with the creative and production quality in the past, and assume that this is just a glitch. Perhaps non-subscribers will wind up benefiting from the delay ;-).

I'm running two 4E versions of RotR now (Rusty Dragon), but I have groups who have played Savage Worlds (myself included), and would be interested in seeing your work.

I am not here to debate the merits of 4th Edition D&D. From what I can glean, it has its good points and its bad points. Mostly what I've heard is that the good points are in the system and the bad points are in the business. I imagine that this is what drove Paizo to Pathfinder RPG. Actually, I'm excited about both of these new offereings.

My question is about the virtual gametable portion of DDI. Again, from what I hear, it is system agnostic. Its advertising points include the idea of gaming with your old group a time zone away. While it not the first solution for this, with WoTC behind it, it could become a de facto standard. Of course, with WoTC behind it, it could also price itself out of business.

Let's be optimistic and assume the former. The last time I asked about this, Paizo knew very little about this tabletop. Based on the fact that the game license for 4th edition itself would not be released for months at that point, I am not surprised (though I was then). I suspect that WoTC has been too busy with 4E launch stuff to prime to pipeline for DDI extras with 3rd parties, but one can hope.

So, after much preamble, my question is this, does Paizo intend to support its products with DDI virtual tableop representations of the maps and/or avatars?

I could extend this question beyond DDI. I notice that Paizo is providing data sets for RPGXplorer Characters and Rules. What about the RPGXplorer GM Tools that is supposed to be coming out?

Paizo, what would really sell is these locations as battle maps. i have to agree that these aren't more useful than PDF printing. I'm not sure they're much more useful than those in the bound adventures.

I contacted customer service about tactical maps last week and received an acceptable, but disappointing response. It really would be nice to have tactical maps of encounter areas that look good at 1" = 5'. It appears that at least some folks would be willing to pay for them.

Wizards is providing maps for things like Cormyr (for free for now) in JPEG. Although not all of them are great looking at 1"=5', some of them are not half bad.

Also, what, if any, support will Paizo provide for its adventures (Pathfinder and GameMastery) for D&D Insider's Virtual Desktop?
