Grand Lodge

Male Alchemist (grenadier/bramble brewer) 2

Not really sure what else to do, Adalric will tag along with Aak.

Adalric orders a beer and sits down at an out-of-the-way table. "If my companions want anything, put it on my tab."

Adalric nods thoughtfully at Aak's words. "I see. As a half-elf, I know full well the stigma of being an 'impure race'. It seems that the people you mention have simply expanded normal racial prejudices to include anyone who wasn't blessed with two human parents." His voice is mildly sarcastic as he speaks these words. Turning to the noblewoman, he smiles. "Valid questions, milady. I hail from the small hamlet of Thrane - about a fortnight's journey by boat. As I'd finished my apprenticeship, it was time for me to start my own life, set up shop somewhere, and begin making my fortune. On a whim, I decided to try Shinmish, as it wouldn't encroach on my master's territory, and - to be honest - I wanted to see a bit of the world. Turns out, Shinmish already has an established alchemy merchant, and I got the feeling that I shouldn't draw too much attention to myself. While trying to figure out what to do, I met Voz, and he explained a little bit of what's going on. At least now the sidelong glances made sense.

"It quickly became clear that I'd be hard-pressed to survive - let alone thrive - in this part of the world, but I'd used up almost all my coin getting here, so going home wasn't an option. I could tell that it was only a matter of time before something terrible would happen to me, but how can one man change anything? When Voz told me about a group of like-minded individuals, I thought that maybe there was something we could do. If there is or not, I don't know; this part of the world is still strange to me. Still, I'm pretty handy, so I'll more than earn my keep if you'll have me. If not, I'd appreciate it if you could at least give me some advice as to how to proceed. As I said, my options are few."

Adalric slowly approaches the others and extends a hand. "Greetings, I'm Adalric of Thrane. I'm an alchemist by trade and was hoping to set up a shop this country, but it seems that there's some kind of human supremacy thing in these parts. Voz was telling me about a cult that's running things? What's going on?"

I've been waiting with great anticipation. Can't wait to get started. :-)

Sounds good. :-)

Here we go! I'm ready when you are. :-)

And here's Whack-a-Rogue's other submission. Adalric of Thrane is a big-game hunter who's grown bored of Golarion's creatures. Hopefully this Grand Voyage will lead to more interesting prey.

Just need to add traits and gear him up. :-)

Grand Lodge 2/5

(for my Rogue and soon-to-be Duelist)

(assuming he's been hit with Charm Person and failed his save)

1. Why are you a Pathfinder?
I'm searching for my lost love. The Society has a lot of resources. One day I'll find her.

2. Do you have a name and surname that is not ripped straight out of existing Earth mythology or popular culture?
I am Adalric - formerly of Thrane.

3. Which nation did you grow up in? How did this nation influence you?
I grew up in the small hamlet of Thrane. You've probably never heard of it (it doesn't show up on many maps), but it's near Greengold.

4. What do you look like? What are your wearing? How does this vary when you’re stalking through forests, sewers, deserts or in glittering cities?
I'm pretty ordinary-looking; people generally don't really notice me. I'm always clad in dark hues and studded leather armor - although I can always blend into any social setting thanks to my Sleeves of Many Garments.

5. What do you love? (Treasure and experience doesn’t count)
The elf maiden Tilaxia: my lost love. Coming in second would be my twin shortswords. They've saved my life more times than I can count.

6. What do you hate? (Unclear and irritating darkness level rules don’t count)
Miners and their deadly picks.

7. Which other Pathfinders (PCs) do you rely on for teamwork, survival and butt-kicking? Do you have a bro? a mentor? a father figure? maybe a rival?
I have no real friends within my society and keep to myself for the most part. I've adventured with many Pathfinders - most notably a Dwarven trip specialist, a Tiefling wizard, and a gunslinger.

8. How does your race influence your views? Are you a stereotype of a certain race? How are you different from most humans/elves/gnomes/orcs/tengu?
I keep my views to myself, sorry. I can tell you that I don't have any particular animosity toward Dwarves and adventure with them quite frequently.

9. What are you afraid of? Do you have any phobias or worries?
Dying before I find Tilaxia. Or worse, learning that she no longer shares my feelings.

10. What is your most treasured possession?
My swords.
