Acune gives Valen a mildly curious look, then returns to observing the ghostly village in general.

Acune shrugs slightly. "Perhaps that's what it is. If we have no other ideas, then we could at least have a theory. At least it doesn't show as necromancy."

My closest friend of many years reminds me a lot of Jared (except female).

Acune lapses into a silent prayer for a moment.

Acune nods.

"Desna's favor be with you," Acune tells the caravan in general, before redying to leave with Valen.

"Should we trust anyone else to come after us should something go wrong?" Acune asks quietly.

"Agreed."

I'm going to be gone for spring break, likely with no internet access.

Acune excuses herself to go join Valen and the others as soon as her work's close to done.

Acune smirks to herself and helps Fury.

Will be gone for three days for robotics event, sorry.

"I'll just keep watch."

Acune attempts to identify what killed the horses dungeoneering 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24, a slightly worried frown on her face, before slipping an arrow to the nock of her longbow and inspecting the edge of the space where the horses had been tethered. perception 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28

"We are still in Ustalav... tell me, how much garlic do we have?" She keeps her expression completely neutral.

Acune shrugs regretfully. "I have no specific ideas for this- a proper cleric would be of more use against the undead, unfortunately."

Acune doesn't stop giving Fury concerned looks. "I'm very sorry, but I don't quite know how to ask Desna for holy water. I'll be sure to look into it."

Acune raises an eyebrow, but then shrugs and goes back to her food.

Acune gives Jax a worried look. "Unfortunately I can only heal maladies of the body, not the mind."

"Any ideas for this trap?" Acune raises an eyebrow slightly at the mage.

"Not much to tell...". Acune frowns slightly and looks around. "Fury, if you fire your gun if anything's out there, it will certainly think something's up."

Sorry about infrequent postings. Build season for robotics, fencing lessons, Spanish class, a huge stack of books and a new relationship have been eating up most of my time :(

Acune spends her watch in companionable silence with Gremm, occasionally watching the stars.

"Might still be," Acune whispers, and smiles politely at their new companions. "It will be nice to not be so outnumbered in the Carnival."

"Your skills at tracking are amazing." Acune is leaning against the outside of building, looking collected and awake and absolutely the same as always. She takes up her place among the group as they move off. Generally ignoring the amusing antics. "I'm glad to see you well, Private Fury."

"Sir," she says after shooting Valen an amused look, "I suspect we have a deadline for this. Ancient evils are typically impatient to get back to wreaking havoc."

"As healer, I'll deflate his head as needed, sir."

"Hopefully."

Acune turns to the sorcerer. "I don't suppose you have any spells to block scrying?"

Acune smiles slightly and tells Valen in an undertone that she detected palpable evil from the feathers as well.

Acune leaves Two-Bears in Torque's capable hands and commandeers the feathers.

I'll cast cure light wounds if it looks like it'll help. 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Acune kneels next to Two-Bears and begins to inspect the broken leg- she moves carefully, but with a firm touch. "Sir, do you believe in ghost stories?"

Acune just sort of smirks and remains silent. She's a Varisian cleric of Good. Of course she's going.

I don't have much more than that at the moment, unfortunately.

"You have some houseguests who have outstayed their welcome?"

Acune bows politely.

Acune follows, tense. "Is there any alternative to doing what the creepy voice asked? Any ideas?"

Acune keeps an eye on any entrances.

Acune gives Valen a small bow, accepting the quarterstaff. "Thank you." She gives it an experimental twirl.

"It would still be far more efficient than melting the locks."

For roleplaying and everything, I'm always glad to see new players join the group.

"Actually, if it reduces the chances of any of us going off to see Pharasma, I'd say go ahead and borrow them."

Acune sighs. "Either way... this country really has problems. I know the dead are partly my responsibility, as a priest, but I prefer doing death rites when the subject isn't trying to rip out my throat."

Just feel like sharing the news; Highschool, first month or so in and one of the teachers is supposedly already putting together a D&D club. And I have two groups- one with the *best*, most enthusiastic, players, who have THE BEST in-character dialogue. And I keep finding more gamers in the area. I swear, the whole place is infected, not that I'm complaining. And I have THE BEST players. Might put up a campaign journal. And spam everywhere with links.

Just hadda gloat :)

The campaign isn't falling apart is it? People really haven't been posting.....

Hopefully not. I've been busy, with my Robotics class, school, and two other RL campaigns I'm running, but I can keep posting every other day.

Just feel like sharing the news; Highschool, first month or so in and one of the teachers is supposedly already putting together a D&D club. And I have two groups- one with the *best*, most enthusiastic, players, who have THE BEST in-character dialogue. And I keep finding more gamers in the area. I swear, the whole place is infected, not that I'm complaining. And I have THE BEST players. Might put up a campaign journal. And spam everywhere with links.
