Finisher: Finishers are spectacular finishing moves that use your panache. You can use a finisher only if you have panache, and you lose your panache immediately after performing a finisher. Once you use a finisher, you can’t use any actions that have the attack trait for the rest of your turn.

You lunge forward and stab two foes with a single thrust.

Make a melee Strike with a piercing weapon or piercing unarmed attack and compare the attack roll result against the AC of up to two foes. One foe must be adjacent to you, and the other foe must be adjacent to and directly behind the first foe, in a straight line from your space. Roll damage once and apply it to each creature you hit. An Impaling Finish counts as two attacks when calculating your multiple attack penalty

Are there things that don't have the attack trait but use the multiple attack penalty, or is this just some leftover artifact from a time when finisher didn't have to finish your attacks?

I thought I was subscribed to the Lost Omens line but it turns out I wasn't.

I just submitted the order above to start the subscription and it put the book in my sidecart. My AP subscription order (8082564) is still showing as pending; is it possible to combine the two shipments? If not, could the LOWG be sent immediately, instead of with next month's AP volume?

Qualifying subscribers automatically receive their Paizo Advantage discount once their first subscription item ships, and only as long as their subscriptions remain active.

I'd like to know if the Paizo Advantage discount applies to articles that ship alongside the first subscription item.

Considering how much stuff I'm interested in comes out with the launch of 2E, if it doesn't, I'll just start with the last few volumes of Tyrant's Grasp

Please cancel my PACG subscription. My finances don't really allow me to keep up with the product anymore.

Character details

Here's a new character based off my gnome oracle from the RPG.

He has d12 Charisma to supplement, but no Diplomacy, to differentiate him from Seoni. His Dexterity is d8 for Weapon Finesse. The d8 in Intelligence is a result of my crusade to ensmarten the characters; It also helped with the selection of mysteries for the role cards. Of the remaining dice, Constitution is d6 to reflect the Gnomes' Con bonus.

His basic powers are a mix of Seoni's and Kyra's. Like Seoni, his spontaneous casting lets him recharge his spells. He also has Kyra's cure conversion, although a smidge weaker to allow for the Life role to improve it further. He also has Weapon Finesse, to let him make better use of his Melee skill (Although I'm hesitating between this wording and giving him Melee: Dex+3 when using finesse weapons)

Roles:
Mysteries of Life
The healing-focused role
The most significant power would have to be the change to Channel Energy. Unlike Kyra, Glim can use this power on some or all of his allies in one casting, by paying the cost multiple times. The change from reveal to display is because the intention isn't to let Glim heal himself last and restore all the cards he used to heal his allies. The ability to banish a spell to gain a new one reflects the bonus spells gained from the mystery; the randomness shows that the oracle receives powers he didn't ask for. His unique blessing power lets him turn his cure spells into Major Cure; the blessing is revealed then recharged so it is not shuffled in with the other cards.

Mysteries of Lore
The knowledge-focused role
Unlike Life Glim, Lore Glim doesn't upgrade his cure conversion into Channel Energy. Instead, he gets to convert a card into a better Spyglass at the cost of his first exploration with Automatic Writing. His Whirlwind Lessons help alleviate the lack of Intelligence of most characters with extra dice; since everyone is really dumb, I feel comfortable using a die as high as d8.

Allow me to be the first to use this section with a Homebrewed Rogue Petunia. Here are her details

Her powers revolve around using spells (read scrolls and wands) and magic items with the Use Magic Device skill instead of being a spellcaster herself. I also tried to make her different than Merisiel in some aspects.

Skills
Because she is a Rogue, I gave her a d10 dexterity. It'll also balance the d4 Strength she gets as a Halfling by letting her use bows and daggers. She has Acrobatics, Disable and Stealth to try and spread out these skills that only Merisiel (and Sajan for acrobatics) has. Her Charisma is a d8 to be able to use her powers. Finally, I had enough dice values for a d8 and a d6. I opted to give her higher Intelligence so that Ezren is no longer the only character with Intelligence greater than d6.

Powers
She is proficient with Weapons rather than Light Armours to differentiate her from Merisiel. As you'll see later, this has had an impact on one of her roles. Her first power lets her use spells without banishing them, albeit poorly. She's at her strongest when using spells that don't require an Arcane or Divine check, like Cure or Mirror Image. In case she acquires a spell she may not want, her second power lets her try to get something more appropriate.

Role: Tinker
This role focuses on her UMD usage.
Her first power upgrades let her offset the penalty to Arcane and Divine she used to have, eventually giving her better bonuses than Lem, the other magical switch-hitter, has (although she still uses a smaller die). Her spell acquisition can become better, scrounging up a second spell she can use in future adventures, and she can become better at acquiring spells and magic items. Finally, her unique Blessing power gives her a constant, better than average (eventually almost maximised) boost to Arcane and Divine checks.

Role: Marksman
This role came from Petunia being proficient in weapons. Since she has low strength, the only weapons with proficiency requirements she could make use of are Ranged weapons, she gets better use of them than Tinker Petunia. She also gets some Rogue powers like evasion and precision damage, although she uses them differently than Merisiel.
Unlike Merisiel, Petunia can't evade at will, instead needing to recharge. On the other hand, she automatically gets precision damage when she uses a Ranged weapon. To better use Longbows, she may use Dexterity instead of Strength when using them. Finally, she has a Kyra-like recharge/shuffle Blessing power

At the end of Here Comes the Flood, Black Magga will have a ton of cards under her. What happens to these cards at the end of the scenario. Are they banished or just returned to the box? What about the allies under the scenario if I fail? Are they banished? It's important because Basic cards could be removed from the game

So it appears the Circles of Binding I thought were part of the 3rd adventure deck actually comes from the 4th. That means according to this list, I'm missing a barrier.

Here's what I have

  • Cryptic Message
  • 2x Door Spike
  • Hand Chopper
  • Ranger Stash

and the aforementioned Circles of Binding
