Foul weather has driven you off the road into this run down, 2 story inn. The rooms upstairs leave a lot to desire, from the mold caking a wall to the lack of glass in the window frame, yet a bed is a bed. You head down into the common room to seek food and hopefully forget about the giant bed bug you found crawling along the wall.

You take a seat, not in the back, for that load bearing beam looks like it could break at any second. no, you sit in the middle, at the round table that seats eight. there, some of your fellow road companions have taken a seat with you.

Your companions are just that, nameless companions, all travelling in the same direction. West. Your road has taken you through the lawless country where goblins and orcs and ogres have attempted to, and mostly succeeded, in establishing a kingdom.

Yet, tonight, the winds cry foul, the air is humid, and rain has made the mud "road" impassible.

summoning up your courage, you order the house special, hoping that the food is worthy of the silver piece charge.

feel free to introduce yourselves to each other and flesh out your characters. feel free to make up the last 3 days of travel with antics.

Deko Dekoson, son of Deko the First, sat down with a huff. It had been a long journey from his home town, and he needed a break from traveling. Motioning over a nearby waitress, he said, "Deko want house special. Deko need lots of food for more traveling tomorrow." Looking around at his table mates, he said, "Greetings, fellow travelers! Deko be Deko Dekoson, son of Deko the First!"

A small figure draped in a heavy black cloak sits at one end of the table. He throws back his hood to reveal a gnome wearing what appears to be some sort of goblinoid skull as a mask. He removes the mask as well revealing the most cheerful looking gnome you have ever seen. His eyes are bright green and filled with life, his hair is bright orange and pointing every direction. He grins a smile so wide it looks like his face will split in two and then leans forward over the table as far as he can and grasps Deko's hand.

"A pleasure to meet you Deko Dekoson. son of Deko the First! I am Gerbo, son of some gnome you've never heard of and don't care to."[b]

After sitting back down.

[b]"I will also have the house special, bugs on the side if you please. Thank you!"

im canceling this game. was expecting more and instead only got the two responses above. thanks for responding and taking the time to make a PC, i do appreciate it.

I had a post and it apparently got eaten. Trying again.

A slightly older woman, about 27 years of age stepped back down from her room with the panther that was following her looking a little grumpy. It hadn't finished cleaning itself so it looked like a half drowned cat. Her cloak was left in her room, so her black hair gleamed with a red sheen in the light of the fire.

Walking over she would take a chair closer to the fire around the table and grinned. "Greetings gentlemen. May a lady sit with you?" She asked even as she was helping herself to the chair. Her panther promptly started finish cleaning itself. Turning to the waitress. "House special please, along with some water."

Stretching, her gown still hiding her form but giving tantalizing clues to what could be underneath. "Well my good sir's, I joined the group coming here a bit late, My name is Moshado. This is my companion Ivy." She motions down to the panther. "I had heard some wild stories about the groups travels before I arrived and Ivy spooked the goat into climbing the horse. Care to tell any?"

Sorry, didn't see this. I was sick for most of this week and missed a lot of updates on d20pfsrd. If we're still going...

"Burd," growls a tusked, disfigured man huddling under a pile of cloaks and blankets near the fire. "Do the fighting. Nobody else punch more ogre than Burd."

I'm still wanting to play, if that's alright

"Deko Dekoson, son of Deko the First!" Deko exclaimed loudly, downing his mug of mead. "Deko travel far and see much! Deko see bunny on side of road!"

His cloak drenched through, his hindquarters tired from riding all day, and Maylocke panting rather tiredly, the wary halfling sighed at the sight of the Inn's lanterns burning in the distance. A warm hearth and a full pint, that's all I want... The horrors of the last few days still replayed in his mind. He had gotten free, but at what cost?

Dismounting his stalwart pony, he leads her into the small stable on the side of the inn. Making sure she is secure, he slips quietly through the front door, expecting the typical quiet roadside inn. And it is... except for the table in the middle. A table surrounded by faces aged by experience and hardened through battle. Faces he knew well. The faces of his kindred souls.

Stepping up to the bar, he pushes back his hood and he slowly slides several coins to the innkeep, "The weather 'twuld seem fortuitous for ye, ye've got a full house. A room, a pint... annnnd whatev'r yer serving that's warm if ye'd please." Tucking his pack and cloak against the wall, he heft the pint and walks over to the table.

"Seems the fates smile upon us. Antroth's the name, an' a touch of mischief's the game. Now, which a ye'll spin a tale fer us?"

Moshado grins looking at everyone. "Well my friend Antroth, it seems people are a little close to the chest about tales of the road. But I guess I could tell of one of the tales from our travels."

Looking at everyone. "It was a clear night, unlike this one and most of the camp was sauced, celebrating the bandits being thwarted earlier that day. I was sitting with Ivy when a large rodent went running through the camp. Well, Ivy, seeing dinner, decided to give chase not caring who was in her way. SOME people thought it was a game then to try to catch a panther by its tail and gave chase also. So you have this conga line of, rodent, cat, people, and others running around camp causing all sorts of ruckus. Not a tent survived the ensuing chaos." She said with a giggle. "And Ivy only took down one of them."

Deko laughed heartily at the humorous tale, slapping his hands down on the table in his enthusiasm. "Deko find that funny! Silly kitty chasing big rat!" he exclaimed, reaching over to pet the panther's head heavily. "Deko once cook big rat for dinner, but nobody ate Deko's food. Deko was sad that day..." Deko hung his head in despair. "Why nobody like Deko's food?!"

Ivy growled and swiped at his hands with no claws before going back to cleaning herself. Licking her paws and rubbing her face and head. Only once done would she come up to him rubbing against him demanding attention.

"Well Deko, rats carry disease in their body and many assume by eating them you will get sick. While this is partially true, it is all in how you cook it and if you purify your meal before hand. Rat isn't that bad. I have had to survive on worse."
