Mrs. Crinkle

"Oh, the poor dear! Tut-tut. All beaten and bloody. Well, let's get her up and at 'em so she and I can go out drinking tonight. Heehee!" She gestures for Alessandra to heal Gwen, then helps her to her feet.
Gwendolyn Faran
|
Gwen gives a moan when she comes to, then her eyes search for the stupid twigjack as fire wreathes her hand. She snarls a grunt, extinguishing the fire when she sees none of them left. "Yeah, maybe this little day should be over. But keep your eyes out for the Redcap. I think he's still going to make an appearance." She takes out a small hand mirror and checks her face and hair, healing her wounds.

GM Erich
|
In order to get rid of the wounded conditions it makes sense to raise Gwen to full with the treat wounds, plus it gets her up so she can heal herself all the way up). Which leaves a couple of characters less than full. Kargoth still can heal as he sees for for this ten minute period.
Nicodemus -13 damage
Achurius -15 damage
As you make your way over to the theatre, J stops by and notices the healing processes. "Quite the tumble you've taken. More fey trickery or just a rampant prank gone wrong? The headmaster, a few of the students (and some of our new fey friends) have all vouched for your heroics. So I want you to have the deciding vote on best prank. The rest of us can't quite decide so I think it is fitting that the Society gets to make the call, and help me to announce the winner on the main stage, so once you are up and ready meet me on stage."
J nods and turns to walk out the door. Pappy the leprechaun awaits him there with a hesitant smile. He gives an unblinking stare in your direction and you catch an internal laugh as well that shakes his frame, but he turns to greet J and the two disappear down the hall.
------------------
With your healing tasks complete you wander across the street with the last few students and fey, leaving the Academy behind to a quiet repose (save for a few hints of smoke around the library windows that still linger.
Entering the theater, the seating is about half full with the students and teachers on the left and the fey guests on the right. There is a low murmur of conversation, including across the aisle. J Dacilane stands alone on the stage and beckons for you to come forward.
New map. Go ahead and place yourselves on the stage as you wish.
Making your way onto the stage, J scoots over to accomodate. The crowd starts to quiet (the fey being much more polite and mannered than you would have ever imagined).
"So, have you made your decision? Believe it or not, we are all tied up. So you can simply declare the winner!" J whispers excitedly under his breath, eyes on the crowd. The medal hangs from a bright pink ribbon in his hands.
Nicodemus Patrick Chelmsford
|
Remembering some of the rather... deadly... 'pranks', not to mention the flagrant disregard for the sanctity of the library, Nicodemus remains silent...
...but does not discourage the others from speaking up.
Don't mind Nicodemus; he's just being a bit of a curmudgeon ;-) He found some of the pranks entertaining, at least!
Achurius
|
Achurius murmurs to the others, "I think I liked the mirror prank the best."
Gwendolyn Faran
|
Gwen fixes her hair and checks that the healing spell didn't leave a trace of a mark from the nails in the pie, while she whispers, "I mean, that scarecrow really did a number on us, even if the fey presence "enhanced" it later."
She shrugs and makes her way up to the stage. The changeling beams and gives a beauty queen smile and wave around to the students, instructors, and even the fey. She waves and winks at several individuals, blowing kisses and ensuring everyone gets a good look at her as she climbs the steps to the stage.
Kargoth Stouthammer

Kargoth turns to the two. "You better take care of yourself." he says, raising his mug.
Healer's Blessing and Heal in area to Nico and Achurius.

Mrs. Crinkle
|
Mrs. Crinkle follows Gwen onto the stage, ironically posing, waving, and blowing kisses at the crowd. It's clear she's not mocking her new bestie, but rather having a little fun with her own--ahem--*fabulous* dress. "Helloooo dearies! How much fun have you had today? I've had a *ball*! Heehee!" She curtsies dramatically and "accidentally" trips on the hem of her "gown". Down she goes in a pile of bloodred knit fabric, only to bound up a moment later, giggling uproariously.
"Now, let's see. There were so many fun pranks today! J, I hope you do this every year, because I'm *dying* to come back again! Though next time, you fey will remember to keep your contributions *strictly nonlethal*, yes? Good! Heehee!" She wags her finger at the fey good-naturedly, then turns to huddle with the group to make their decision.
"Oh, yes! The mirrors were a *smash*! Heehee!" She elbows Achurius in the ribs, just in case he didn't catch her pun.
Achurius
|
Achurius is not sure what to make of Mrs. Crinkle's rapid fire puns, but he does smile, clutching his scroll. The smile looks a bot nervous though.
"Hopefully the 'fun' is over for the day and that redhat will find more interesting things to do than bother us."
GM Erich
|
With Kargoth's actions, everyone is healed up to full and refocused.
As the last of you make it up to the stage, J projects out to the gathered faces. "Thank you all for your attention, thanks to their overwatch and valor today in keeping things moving and safe -- I have given the esteemed Pathfinder Society agents the honor of announcing the winner of the very first Dacilane Academy’s Prank War!"
The crowd grows silent in anticipation, save for the fluttering of excited sprite wings in the corner. Students lean forward in their seats, almost in unison. Pappy squints from his prime seat.
J nods along to your hushed conversations and gentle ribbing. He then adds under his breath with a bit of a forced smile. "So... who is the winner?"
Achurius
|
"Our consensus has it as the mirror room. Before the arsonists got to it."
GM Erich

With the proclamation, Duaro jumps up, hugs Hari and scoots by Professor Thandmere and into the aisle. As she starts to move to the stage to accept the award, a sarcastic voice rings out in the theatre. "I'm so happy for you, I'mma let you finish, but..."
From behind the backstage curtain, a long sharp blade suddenly emerges, slicing a long gash. “...what a waste, to give so high an award to such a lowly prank! Did you not see the blood Numblekin spilt? Or hear the fear in the screams we caused? I left you the dead possum because I thought you’d laugh!”
From the shadowy wings of the stage, manic giggles expressing something much darker than mirth ripple from flitting shapes and smaller blades eviscerate the curtain, slicing it to ribbons.
A small, wizened old man with a long beard peeks through the sliced curtain, his dark red hat glistening wetly. “Fine then, one last prank from Numblekin and his merry band of miscreants — we’re going to steal the medal! Stop us if you can!”
New pics and extended theater map. The curtain line directly behind you is gone.
Screams and shouts fill the gallery, mostly from the professors and students (the fey look oddly amused). J peers at you with a look of "finish this" then leaps from the stage to slide down the angled lid of the piano and into the aisle to gather the students away.

Alessandra performs her heart out and remembers an important fact.
The redcap scythes Nicodemus badly, spin kicks wildly with a steel boot, then runs past the dwarf (kicking at him too) before scrambling back behind the backstage curtain with a growling laugh. The other twigjack repeats the tactic of his bigger brother and sprays needles on the eastern set of agents.

Fiddlesticks! I forgot to ask someone to fix Mrs. Crinkle's shield. Tough luck, I guess.

Her voice deepens halfway through as she wolfs out and gives the front row sees a bit too much of an eyeful of the underside of her now-way-too-tiny skirt.
