The group starts cataloging the area. After getting healed, Nykor, Zaxy, Reji, and N'Aranav shorten the process to an hour. Within that one hour, Deosil refocuses and can heal allies for the remaining 50 minutes if he wishes. Let me know, and we can retcon that.
The Caretaker guides them to the workshop through the west hall, wherein a barely audible ticking comes from this hallway. This room is perhaps the most neatly-kept area of Shimia’s vault and looks like it was carefully tended to in its time. Several long tables display complex mechanical equipment.
Most look inert, although a few in the collection look like they were meant to approximate living creatures. Behind the tables, display shelves hold components about each machine piece; the display gives the impression of a workshop museum. The faint ticking sound heard from the hall is louder here, suggesting some of the machinery is still in working order.
The planar key that the Pathfinders are looking for is on display with other components in the northwestern corner of the room and seems easy enough to obtain, though it’s on the other side of some glass. On the other hand, one of the machines on display is humanoid in shape, posed with one arm raised and a jaunty tilt to its body as if greeting arriving guests.

Once Nykor is within 10 ft of the humanoid machine, it whirrs to life with a squeaking, corrupted mess of sounds.

The machine's voice lines alternate between “friendly greeting” mode and “intruder detected” mode. Moreover, two tiny toys also come to life.

On the other hand, Blue Elite Toy approaches Kaida and slams its body on her. She manages to evade both.

The Pathfinders continue to move to the last area, toward the west hallway. A barely-audible ticking comes from this hallway. Unusual handheld items of all description make up the bulk of the collection within this long narrow room. There is no apparent method of organization.

As with the other wings of the vault, Shimia’s method of storage here was to pile her collection one item atop another. The very act of searching through the piles triggers an accidental trap: a toy device often called a “quaker,” meant to surprise unsuspecting victims with a short burst of a magically-induced earth shaking. Fortunately for the Pathfinders, the quaker only works for a while and no one is seriously harmed.
Among the collection is a marvelous miniature campfire that they can collect.
Having searched every room in Shimia's vault, the Caretaker leads them out. The same guide awaits the Pathfinders as they emerge from the hole in the north hallway. She takes them back to Marivit without ever having told the Pathfinders her name. She takes a different and much more straightforward path back through the mountainous terrain into Macridi, pulling up in front of Marivit’s townhouse. A pleased expression briefly makes its way across their face on seeing the planar key. Ambrus is pleasantly surprised for cataloging all rooms in the vault, gruffly but sincerely congratulating them.
