A dragon! The tales, the lore. Here was a worthy foe. Inside his helmet, Sovellis hums while he strides forward, his sword clearing his sheath in one hand. In the other hand the four pointed knife, giant throwing star, appears in his hand. The hand wheels in a wide arc and the knife files toward the dragon.

Lash marches towards the dragon, flexing her fingers as though they were claws. "Ohhh, never killed one of your kind before. Try to make this fun!" Once close, she takes a deep breath before exhaling a wave of frozen air at her foe.
You can dampen the entropic release of energy in violent effects. As a reaction when you are in the area of a damaging effect, you can spend 1 Entropy Point to cause it to deal only half damage to all creatures in the area.

Kanavu is assaulted by a volley of attacks
Sovellis misses but Beta and Nip's attacks are very effective (-31). Grimalki also hits (-39) and Lash adds insult to injury with a breath weapon (-44). The result of all this is that the dragon is barely hanging on to corporality.
Balok is still up before the dragon.

Nippostia glares at where the creature stood, her breathing labored from the trek into the cavern, the exertion of casting, and the task of facing a sworn enemy of her patrons, the Dreamers.
She takes a deep breath.“It’s… gone… we… did it…”
She slumps to a sitting position on the floor, her back against the cavern wall.
“That was… a… lot. Good job… team.”

The impact of those missiles sends the dragon disappearing into incorporeality as a cloud of laughing shadows. But before it goes, it taunts you saying it will see them in their dreams.
"...I'm just gonna hope that was a bluff."
She keeps hold of her gun as her allies insert the tablet fragments, ready for any other tricks.

The tiefling sighs, brushing nonexistent dust off of her shoulder. "I certainly hope that thing dares show itself in my dreams. That much closer to the realm of the Nightmare Lord."
Then she looks around, sizing up the members of her team. The tiefling smirks. "You all did good. It didn't stand a chance."

As the last map fragment is plugged in, the wards power down, and the room can be entered. The stairs lead down to a vault where various strangely
shaped bottles and cryptic devices are stored on shelves: the Dreamer’s relics that they have come to retrieve.
Once you have them you can return to your ship. When you depart. Venture-Captain Arvin contacts you directly. He is extremely happy, inviting you to personally hand over the relics to Whisperer of Solar Winds. Exactly how these relics may prove beneficial to the Society is as of yet unknown, but Venture-Captain Arvin and the scholars of the Communion Vaults are eager to hear what potent visions Whisperer of Solar Winds might bestow upon them in the future.

At some point after the conclusion of the mission, Grimalki approaches Balok.
"So... I'm sure by now you've noticed that we seem to be in... opposing lines of work." She takes a drag before continuing. "I keep up to date on my reputation, so I wanted to offer you a deal. I've got a few... competitors in the field, types like Bogden who ruin things for the rest of us. If you agree not to get in the way of my business, I might see about getting you some intel on some of them."

At Absalom Station docking bay, Nippostia hugs everyone and gets unexpectedly (or perhaps expectedly) teary-eyed as the team unloads.
“This was a rough one, but we came through it. We took down slavers and gang members, beat back a pirate starship, and gave that nightmare dragon something to scream about.”
She sniffles again.
“I mean, we really jelled, yanno? I’m gonna miss you all a lot. Hey, anyone wanna hit the Seeker’s Respite tonight? They probably have a vid game tourney running… or wait… it could be Karaoke night.”
Nip fishes her data pad out and checks the schedule. The bright green sticker in the top left corner bobs as she taps.
“BOTH! They’re doing both tonight! Who’s in? C’mon… don’t make hit you with Dream of Home and then guide-squox you all the way there.”
She grins and winks. “Never know what might happen on a night like this…”

"Great work team" The drow turns to Grimalki and in a lower turn of voice says. "Sounds good. I know when to look the other way" He offers his hand.
She shakes his hand with a grin. "Pleasure doing business."

She then pinches her finger tips together, mimicking some kind of equipment that isn't unlike a hole puncher. "Unless you're more the piercing type? Because I can set you up with that."

She winces a moment at Lash’s mimicry of a piercing, but then her lip curls at the corner and a mischievous glint flashes in her eyes.
“So, Lash… what’s a good starter-level piercing? My boyfriend’s a slightly neurotic brenneri — well, no more than most, i guess. Getting both a tattoo and a piercing might be too much change at once. What do you think?”
