Pinkiee

Pinkiee switches to his hook sword and movers +closer to the combat. He ends up balancing precariously on the narrow catwalk.

Albrik Gleyan

Albrik moves up the catwalk, holding his spear at the ready praying at the same time. Two small suns, the size of a fist, fly from the tip of his spear and hit the small crab on the walkway in front of him.

Zarzucket and Albrik create a light show of bright missiles that slam into the large crab-like being. Norbert and Tocti try to break through the defenses of the crab, but all tricks and powers do not seem to help here. Pinkiee just decides to close the gap.

Chip redirects his own attention to the big one threatening several of his companions, firing a shot.

Checker squashes the small crab in front of him, as chip aims for the big target and misses. The large crab pinches Tocti with powerful force, grabbing a hold of the pathra.

Moving along the catwalk Albrik says another prayer. Suddenly a glowing ball of light as big as a human head appears right above mamma-crab -dazzling her with it's light.
cast "whisp ally" - it provides harrying fire. So the next attack against mamma-crab gets +2

Grreatful! Tocti squeezes out as the feline slashes back at the crustacean grabbing her.

"Good job, Checker. Keep it up!" The drone continues to circle along the pathway towards the next of the smaller crab creatures, bringing its doshko down again as Chip takes a shot at the big one.

Norbert tries to fake out the crab while Albrik and Tocti work hard on getting the latter free. A wispy ally tries to assist the pathra in escaping the crab's grasp. Zarzucket prepares for the work, and when Pinkiee and Checker miss their attacks, Chip keeps the starfinders in the game by causing some scroch marks on the outer shell of the crab.
The crab keeps its focus on devouring Tocti, while the smaller crabs just defend themselves.

Albrik throws three of his "mini-suns" at the big guy:
magic missile full round: 3d4 + 3 ⇒ (2, 3, 1) + 3 = 9
The whisp is up for another round and gives +2 to the next attack vs the big one sry, no. He isn't. I forgot that Albrik is still lvl 1
| DM Kludde |
Checker mercilessly squashes another crab as Chip hits the large monster with a blast of fire. Norbert then thoroughly shocks the big crab, sending it into spasms. The crab hurriedly drops Tocti, and scutters off, back underwater
Combat over!
We're close to the end of the game, so roll day jobs if you want to. Those who haven't signed into the TPG chronicles, please do so now. Otherwise RZMR will come after you...

Pinkiee moves to help Zarzuket get the woman out.
Tocti

Thank you all tocti says as she carefully backs up to make sure that crab isn't about to launch itself back at her in surprise.
I apologize. I have not been a verry useful ally today it seems, getting into too many scrrapes with too little contrributions.
Pinkiee
|
Aw .... don't worry about it Pinkiee replies. We're all in this together. and I was also a bit like that when I first started out.
For a moment it looks like he is about to burst into a song about teamwork and co-operation.

Probably "We're all in this together" from "High School Musical" with a few changes
Tocti
|
Some worrse than otherrs Tocti agrees as she moves down by Pinkiee to check on the woman by the shore. If she seems unconsicous but no obvious gaping wounds/hazards, Tocti will give her a serum of healing (mk 1)
Kaleb "Chip" Leafgleam
|
While Tocti is doing that, Chip keeps his pistol out and an eye on any potential dangers. He doesn't particularly expect anything else at this point, but he doesn't seem to be needed down there at the moment and there was no reason to give up the advantageous vantage point. Better safe than sorry!
Profession: IT: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Albrik Gleyan

It's such a relief that you still have one of those, Tocti - I spent all of Sarenraes gracefull gifts to defeat these crabs...or I could at least...
Albrik speaks a different prayer, consisting only of a few words. Nothing seems to happen, apart from the fact that his eyes receive an almost unnoticable glow.
he cast detect affliction - just to be sure, that she is alright apart from the wounds the serum took care of.
| DM Kludde |
After Tocti administers the serum, Elymilra slowly returns to consciousness. She takes a moment to realize what has happened, and then she explains Now I see. I was exploring this installation, I think it is a water treatment facility, but I was careless. I was listening to some music on my headphones, because I did not think anything would live in this reservoir.
Let me just finish off my work here, I think I've almost figure out the pumps. If this works, we can bring a fresh supply of drinking water to Fullbridge!
Indeed, it doesn't take more than ten minutes for Elly, as she insists the group call her, to finish her job.
---
Laughter and the sound of children at play is audible as the group approaches Fullbridge. The water system is working perfectly, and the whole community has come to collect potable water and enjoy watching their children frolic around the now-operating fountain.
The reunification of Vic and Elly is emotional, and after they take a long moment to hug eachother, they turn to the group. If this doesn't make you honorary citizens of Fullbridge, I don't know what does. Vic says.
There's also a zapping sound in the distance, with the green hexoglin gnawing away at some wires, converting high voltage to more usable current. Surrounding the Hexoglin are six small hexoglin pups. They need names, you know... Elly says, ... and since you brought their mother here, I think it should be you who names them.
---
This is the end of the scenario (once you agree on names). I'll report and produce chronicles in the next day or so
Pinkiee
|
Pinkiee goes through a list of names, mostly related to baking ingredients or colours.
Lemme see: Marshmallow, Custard, Chocolate, Vanilla, Lime, and ... ummm ... Ruby?
Kaleb "Chip" Leafgleam
|
"Is 'ruby' a flavor?" asks Chip, examining the minor dents Checker had sustained, "Why not 'Velvet'?"
Pinkiee
|
It's a colour. Pinkiee replied. A bright red. I wasn't quite sure Red Velvet would actually work. I suppose I could have gone with Strawberry
Tocti
|
Pinkiee goes through a list of names, mostly related to baking ingredients or colours.
Lemme see: Marshmallow, Custard, Chocolate, Vanilla, Lime, and ... ummm ... Ruby?
That is imprresive. Tocti nods her head. I have always enjoyed theme naming
Kaleb "Chip" Leafgleam
|
"Strawberry Marine Cake, yeah," says Chip distractedly, "They had a song, something about cherries. I was just working with them recently, before this assignment. "
| DM Kludde |
The first version of the chronicles is up. I still need to add the usual goofballing, which I hope to do later. For now you can already go and spot the ten mistakes I have made.
While the group is thinking of names for the Hexoglins (which are all green, by the way), Vic shows a petition she's been drafting This is for the Syndicsguild. We want to get official recognition of Fullbridge, since we think it will be beneficial is we can relief some of the pressure on teh refugee community by bringing them here. Do you want to add your names as Starfinder agents?
Pinkiee
|
Pinkiee is Advocates, not Dataphiles.
And given all the Xeoglin pups are green, Pinkiee is at a bit of a loss to tell them apart.
Erm .... Minty, Lime, Emerald, ummmm .... Chloro, and ... um .... sure I'll sign ...... um .... Jade and aw heck .... Algae.
Tocti
|
Of courrse Tocti agrees and hapily takes the pen. What you have been doing herre shows incrredible ingenuity with limited rresourrces. I can only imagine what you could do with morre.
Albrik Gleyan
|
It would be sinfull not to help, if one can do so with such little effort!, Albrik answers with an earnest face to Vics request.
Kaleb "Chip" Leafgleam
|
| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
"I've had some bad experiences with signing things," says Chip, but he doesn't really hesitate to take the petition. He just signs slowly and carefully to make sure he's writing the right name.
| DM Kludde |
The group decides to sign the petition, while Pinkiee comes up with various names for variant of green.
Fun fact: In Belgium, there's a particular shade of not-quite-blue-not-quite-green called 'apple-blue-sea-green'. It's often used to just refer to any ugly color.
We've very much exhausted the game here. I still need some moments to prettify the chronicles, but they can already be used as is. Let me know if there is something that needs change
| DM Kludde |
Chronicles have been updated. Last chance to spot anything wrong!
I'll keep the thread open for a couple of days for you all to confirm. Thanks a lot for playing, everybody!
Pinkiee
|
Pinkiee should be Advocates, not Dataphiles. Apart from that, looks okay. Thank you for running.
Albrik Gleyan
|
thanks from me as well. It was really fun - great balance between rp and combat and big chunks of inspiration for lore-diving. Especially for someone like me, who isn't very deep yet into the starfinder setting that's priceless!
