Zendel knows a scattering of information about Cihua Couatl. They are an Arcadian deity associated with warriors and healers promoting the ideals of using one's strength to strike at enemies and defending those who cannot defend themselves regardless if that means taking up arms or providing kindness and support. He has heard they are a full pantheon of couatls that share their power in mas and their servants join in the divinity upon passing on to the afterlife making them fervent warriors and unflappable warriors.
She glares at KaLang as she declares, "I know better than you what I have left and that is nothing. You do not get to make this choice from me. I will give my life for the many, before I put the many in danger for my own."
KaLang's skill check fails
"My name is Henecahual," she responds to Zendel. She holds some wariness, but hearing of Viltydus gives her pause. She shifts looking toward the forest and states, "if you are of such good character, it would be even more imperative that you do not fall along with me. I do not of this Viltydus, I have only traveled here. What is he to the Mahwek, to my people? A leader, a priest?"
Zendel's skill check barely passes relying on his arguments.
"And do you expect me to watch you fight with me on the side? Protecting me as though I were still an infant?" She holds firm as she declares, "I may not have strength enough to fight, but I carry the honor of all my parents. I do not know you and ceding your injuries to you while I huddle is unacceptable."
Ra'uf skill check fails.

Salaish has had just about enough of this woman's ridiculous stubbornness. "Oh my goodness! Would you listen to yourself? You're not helpless now. We're healing you up, and you can still fight beside us without your magic, like I do when I'm out of spells. Do you seriously think you're the only person here who gets to refuse to let others get hurt when you could save them? Do you have a monopoly on martyrdom or something?"

"You have a far grander view of the fire I have left in me if you think I can still fight, but it seems like you have enough to spare for me. It seems my view of you was off as well and may have more strength than I offered."
Salaish gets a critical success.
Watching Arfsnarf's clacky rock with interest she watches the results. "I had already accepted what I felt was fated, that I would never see or learn about my people. It seems as though your scrying divines another fate for me." She nods along as she moves forward toward your group.

The party begins doubling back out of the forest. It is a slower pace than the entry as Henecahual sets a slightly slower pace with her hours of battle coming to a head as the fatigue grips her.
Within a few minutes though, a few of the party hear the cracking of branches amid the darkness. Through darkvision and the magical lighting you see a trio of lurking attackers that surround you. Two are a set of tiger-humanoids that rise more than 10 feet high. They have scraps of clothing and dried blood on their claws. Once you catch sight, one gives up subtlety and shifts their weight, completely breaking off a tree branch as they cast it away.
Along with them is a leopard that hides itself within the undergrowth. Only a few of you, Arfsnarf, KaLang, and Zendel immediately see it within the brush.
The creatures give large toothy grins as they prepare to lunge at you.

Zendel critically succeeds on the check with Known Weakness. Everyone gets +1 circumstance bonus to attack Red for this round.
Zendel, just confirming, that +1 on that attack is from your magic weapon, right?
Zendel confirms for certain these are a pair of weretigers. Lycanthropes who have normal humanoid forms, but can take on aspects of the tiger in fully animal or hybrid forms. They are strongest during the full moon with the curse that transforms them into this cruel form is strongest and they are able to pass on this curse through their bite. Weretigers have a vulnerability to silver weaponry and a comparatively weak will to their other strengths. They fight exclusively in melee, leveraging any chance to grab hold of their prey and take an attack of opportunity.
With his insight, Zendel is able to line up his shot just well enough to land a critical hit into the monster's chest. The weretiger is able to avoid the second arrow however.

Over the week Huali comes to Zendel as he refocuses his attention to medical treatment. Impressed as she looks to hope to improve her own healing skill from the party.
Tonfer also shares in the love of work with KaLang and introduces him to Mahwek smiths about the port town. The days give much time to trade skills and traditions.
Those in the town show interest in the far off traveler offering fortune-telling services and a good number of people enjoy his talents and hear what fates he hints at for them.
There is plenty of time for Salaish to work on her song and very well can fine many people who enjoy performances at the Pathfinder Lodge, both other Pathfinders who have traveled to this land as well as those who come to hear the far off stories.

"Huali, you will be a fine hero!" Zendel shakes the mahwek girl's hand. "I hope you'll consider the Pathfinder Society as part of your heroic journey."
Zendel turns to Salaish, and kisses her hand. "It was a pleasure working with you again, Salaish. If you ever visit Oprak, do visit me and Kalang!" He says farewell Ra-uf, and thanks the champion for all of his protective energy. "You're a good man, Ra'uf!" He claps ArfSnarf on the back. "Thank you for introducing me to the art of clacky rock divination. May I ask you for one last bit of fortune-telling?"
Finally, he shakes hands with Zhaymie. "Thanks for helping me and Huali work on my medical skills. It was excellent working alongside you."
Then he turns to heart-brother Kalang, and grunts. It's the hobgoblin grunt that means, 'Shall we go now?'

KaLang complements Arfsnarf, saying “You are a goblin that is always welcome by me.” That is quite wordy for him. The rest of you get a much shorter “Thanks!” that is more typical of him.
Rewrote that a couple of times, trying to make it shorter. :)
Then he turns to heart-brother Kalang, and grunts. It's the hobgoblin grunt that means, 'Shall we go now?'
KaLang gives a grunt of assent.

Hmm... back to Oprak eh? You want to know what your Arfsnarf-less life will be like?
Clacky rock: 1d20 ⇒ 18
He looks momentarily stunned, which quickly converts to a frown.
Eh... I think clacky rock is having fun with me. It says life is going to be better than good very soon. Oh... maybe that's because you carry memories of new goblin in your hearts. Yes... that must be it. Would still be better with more Arfsnarf, but it seems like memories I create be awfully powerful! Yeah that's it.
He smiles sheepishly and silently replaces the clacky rock in his belt pouch.

Zendel hugs ArfSnarf. "We will be fine without you until we meet again." Then with a jaunty whistle, he waves farewell to the rest of the team.
"Where to next, Kalang? Shall we see where the stone roads of Oprak take us?"
