"Hope" tries their attacks against the Plant Boss, but between all it's writhing tendrils cannot land a solid blow.
The Iruxi plant zombie does not seem entirely zombified and is the only creature you've found here that appears to be Iruxi. You have no way to tell if it's the scout you're supposed to be rescuing, but it's a good guess.
Shanti's bolt does strike through and they manage to stabilize the Iruxi!
Any healing will stabilize them, too many plants in the brain to bet up right now though.
Tandang protects Hope with a friendly tree while Krozuk suddenly charges it and works on cutting it down to size with his greataxe.

After about 10 minutes Kazuuk rejoins you. "The large ones will leave us alone, I see you did well. Better than Igix, although he seems still alive. Come help me make a stretcher and we'll take him back to camp.
---
With that you can easily make it back to camp.
As just a quick aside on the scenario since everybody has played it before. I know it's 2 rounds of checks to impress the Iruxi. I've found the pacing works a lot better to do one set of checks on the way there and the other on the way back, and frequently, like in this case enough successes were garnered, that combined with the rescue we don't even need to do the second set.
Chief Thakik once again sits atop her bone throne, but now the hint of a smile tugs at the corners of her mouth. [b]“Kazuuk tells us you were quite impressive! This is good to hear. I am told by our healers that Igix is expected to recover within a few days. I’m certain the Tskikha and the Pathfinder Society have a bright future ahead."
After the meeting with the chief Kazuuk takes you aside and gives you an elixir of Darkvision(lesser). "You have honored me with your presence and your deed, let me gift you this elixir, crafted by my own hand. May it let you see in darkness."

Lets rest overnight for simplicity, goodberries if nothing else will get Hope back to full.
---
The next morning Floa Barun introduces you to to Eando Kline. Not only does she remember your names but she gets various tricky bits of inflection right as well.
The interior of Eando's tent is brightly lit and sparsely decorated. A fully armed and armored human man stands at a table opposite the entrance, a large wooden crate in front of him. After Fola Barun's introduction he delicately lifts what appears to be an ivory idol and places it within the crate, packs it with straw, then attaches the lid.
Fola Barun makes her egress.
“When it comes down to it, the Pathfinder Society has a loose set of agreements about how to behave. In the past, leadership was unwilling to take the necessary steps to keep dangerous items and information locked safely away. That’s where my role comes in. You all know about the Society’s motto: ‘Explore. Report. Cooperate.’ The Vigilant Seal has its own motto: ‘Protect. Contain. Destroy.’ The last thing we need is for a horde of fiends to be unleashed because someone jostled the wrong statue,” he says, and nods meaningfully toward the just-closed crate.
“So today I have an important job for you. Other Pathfinder scouts recently cleaned the monsters out of a nearby Azlanti temple dedicated to the vampiric demon lord Zura. They found an odd bit of treasure that had a dangerous aura about it. When they tried to seal it away in a protective box, it simply teleported itself back to the center of the temple. Rather than continuing to experiment with the item, they wisely reported their findings to me. After a bit of research into similar items, I believe that removing the item from the temple will require carrying it out by hand."
“Your job is to go to the ruin, retrieve this item, and return it to me so I can decide what to do with it next. The path is clear, and I have a map with the item’s location marked. Questions?”
See slide 8 for map

He then looks at the leshy ranger. "You should carry it, Life-Full-of-Sprouts-Like-Hopeful-Mushrooms. A test of strength."
Life Sprouts Anew-Hope Remains

Hope looks up at Krozuk with a shocked expression. "Me? Well, certainly. If you think it would be good for my training to carry it then I suppose I should. After all, the Venture Captain is correct, that necklace sounds evil and dangerous so its best I keep watch over it."
Tandang Boreas
|
"Dangerous aura, you say?" Tandang thinks on those words. "If we need to carry it by hand, we have no choice then. We have the map, so we can quickly get out of the ruins, if that is the other problem, hehe." he adds. "I think we're ready, aren't we?" he asks as he looks to others for confirmation.

Sorry for the delay, Friday and Saturday both ended up being a really busy days around here.
Following Eando's instructions are easy enough. Along the way there are some signs of the previous Pathfinders’ mission here: the bodies of several destroyed skeletons and zombies, disturbed cobwebs and rubble,
and occasional splashes of blood on the walls. taking you to the Heart of the temple where
Arriving at the Heard of the Temple you find a broad stone stairway descends into darkness to the west out of this low ceilinged room. To the south is an archway you just passed though carved with a rose motif.
The chamber decorated with a hooded figure bearing a scythe, rendered as a protector—or warning—of what lies beyond. A single pedestal stands next to the northern wall.

"Now we test your strength, Life-Spuds-In-Beer-Hops-Remains," Krozuk says to the ranger. "You are small, but you can lift the tiny artifact."

Hope steps up to the artifact and sheaths his dagger then picks up the necklace in one singular motion.
