Looking at Evelyn's Shadow, Iggy asks, "So like, can you talk? Oh! How about play cards? Because it might get boring waiting around for those three. Of course, I don't have any cards..."
Elsewhere, the diseased and stinky plant matter proves to be surprisingly wily and evades both Evelyn and Camila's weapons, but cannot seem to avoid Mal's throw daggers with ease. She manages to land one blade deep into the center of the thing, but it reacts little despite the impressive throw.
The creature lashes out at Camila with a slimy tendril of rotting leaves on a dripping brown stalk. Fortunately, it only grazes the woman. Cam - 1 bludgeoning, 1 acid damage.
Round Three!

Unmoving, the Shadow just stares at the halfling.

Finally working as a unit, Evelyn and Camila manuever to try and set one another up to finish the plant-mass off and in the process give Malora the perfect opportunity to land another dagger into the gooey leaves. Evelyn and Camila's swords flash out and hack the vegetable matter into multiple piles.
Combat is over. There is still the small building within the room or back toward the unknown threat in the big room ahead.
Malora 'Mal' Bursio
Mal moves to recover her daggers. Picking each up with two fingers and flicking the foul smelling goo from the blades. She then looks for something to whip the weapons off with. Briefly eyeing Eve’s cloak, before walking to the foliage wall to use some leaves.
Looking at the small building. ”Well we are here, let's have a look inside.” Moving slowly toward the door.
DM Dickie
Mal climbs the stairs to enter the small building. Three rows of pews stand before a stone altar. A human statue stands atop the altar, its face and right arm broken off and shattered at the floor around it. Two smaller statues of women—each wielding a sword and shield—stand in raised alcoves in the southeast and southwest corners.
There is a shimmering in the air and an image of Aroden appears before Mal. "Greetings, mortal. It is your duty to provide me with a tribute. Comply and I will bless you. Deny me, and the power of the gods will rain down upon you!"
.:Evelyn:.
Evelyn nodded in response to Malora, and followed her towards the small building.

At the sudden appearance of a deity, Evelyn halted in her tracks. As the entity spoke, something seemed...off. "It's a trick" Evelyn whispered.
"What kind of tribute?' she asked aloud.
Camila Sergillus
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Taking Evelyn's cue, Camila takes out a gold piece and begins fidgeting with it.
"He is some gold I offer as tribute to Aroden. All you have to do is come and take the offering."
.:Evelyn:.
Evelyn will cast detect magic and look for any magical auras.
"Surely there must be a donation worthy of an extended audience with such a supreme deity such as yourself..."
Malora 'Mal' Bursio
Scanning the room, Mal searches for the source of the voice.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26
"Tell you what. I got a tribute for you. How about a bomb?"
.:Evelyn:.
"Oh mighty and beautiful Arrow-dean, please accept our sincerest apologies. We are but insignificant and humble servants to be blessed by your wisdom" Evelyn cries as she drops to a knee.
Bluff: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
Malora 'Mal' Bursio
Mal bows, and speaks in the melodious tounge of celestials.
"Forgive me most divine one. I ment no offense. I was only making sure of your identity. I am a servent of the divine realm. Allow me and my retinue to assist you."
Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12 To sell the story
Linguistics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21 To place the accent
She also readies her Aasimar spell-like abilty of Glitterdust.
DM Dickie
"Your words ring false, mortal. You're trying too hard to be obsequious. The feathered one should speak, you should remain silent. Now about that tribute? You said you had wine?"
Malora can discern from it's speech patterns and accent that the creature's native language is possibly Aklo, spoken by some creatures native to the Darklands.
